In the Night Garden is about a magical picture-book place that exists between waking and sleeping in a child’s imagination. Words, rhymes and music carry the viewer through a happy world of loveable characters and nursery rhyme nonsense. Makka Pakka lives in a little cave at the end of a gully, at the edge of the garden. He likes nothing more than collecting and washing little stones. He also enjoys washing and drying the faces of the other toys in the garden. To do so he has a lovely big sponge and bar of purple soap which he wheels around the garden on his Og-pog.
