Science 101Scientific theory IS fact

Important to establish facts - scientific theory IS fact it’s very different from the word theory used in other contexts especially when you’re discussing issues with an incredibly pompous smug misogynist

Spirits (both of them)

Thanks for your social and political commentary… I admire your ferocity in hunger to find things that makes sense.
When I was younger, I often polished off bottles of vodka and other spirits… I wasn’t a big beer drinker but I loved stronger spirits.
I’ve been a follower of Jesus since 2007 and I think you’re missing a huge part of every picture that you discuss because you are still not aware of the spirits that exist in the background of many of the conversations you have… When it comes to human populations activities and tendencies and the history and story of the human you will never understand it properly until you factor up into the existence of God and his sworn enemy… Those two kingdoms exist whether you like it or not my friend… Choose life or choose death (the Bible)
All you have to do is look at the motivating factors behind religions to see what kind of spirit it is.
I’m not a preacher and I love your podcast and commentary so all I’m doing is just saying what I believe as a fan |>

Just not news

I listened to about 10 episodes as I was interested in the idea of independent news. But you’re not journalists… instead you platform people and let them talk without pushing back or asking the hard questions. So really, you’re just a podcast, sharing opinions and should advertise as such. Disappointing.

Brilliant podcast, always interesting.

KK, huge fan. Your comment re Australian aborigines being only people not to invade…not true. Far from it.
The people living in Australia prior to English settlement invaded and conquered previous peoples who’d arrived from South Easy Asia. Those who came in the 4,000 BC wave, who first brought Dingoes, quite definitely wiped out many who’d been there previously. Don’t look to Wiki to back me up, but I’m pretty confident when you read about it you’ll work it out. Keep up the great work. Pete Lucas

Juvenile

Every one of Pippa Malmgren’s arguments could be demolished by a 14 year old. Take them one by the one, do 5 minutes research. The Ukraine war could certainly be stopped tomorrow if Ukraine surrendered. Another Kremlin stooge I presume.

This is probably one of the most based podcasts I’ve ever come across! Kosta and Frank you both are doing a great job. Keep it up!

Slavery reparations

In the modern west, the most important opportunity to be made available to every individual id to declare themselves a victim and demand that the rest of the world appease them.
Without social media it is difficult to see how this opportunity might exist. People would be too busy actually living their lives to be wasting time photographing it, posting about it and whining to the masses.
Indulging these behaviours does nothing to advance the lives of anyone. They are pathetically weak, self-centred and oozing entitlement. They deserve nothing more than dismissive rejection.
you're kidding, surely

Deborah’s interview

Brilliant! Thank you for having her on. I wish the interviewers had read her book (kinda rude not to). She is so intelligent & precise. I can’t believe the interviewer having a hissy fit about how Deborah talks telling her she gets emotional while he gets all crabby! He isn’t as smart as he thinks!!! He said some really dumb things!

Hard to listen to

I think the concept for this show is great. I think more and more the podcasters are doing what they accuse the left of. Letting ridiculous opinions go unchallenged. The Kevin Sorbo episode was unbearable at times. How about pushing back on all the bogus vaccine claims? One of the presenters tried but it wasn’t enough to provide listeners with some nuanced rebuke to the guest’s opinions. How about having a third member who is more to the left on the show to give it some balance?

Finkelstein Podcast

The Trigger boys always give ground to their guests, in good faith and with the intent of genuinely allowing their guests to say what they believe. They also do this to avoid getting bogged down and wasting time over the historical blame game. Unsurprisingly and predictably, Finkelstein would not give straight answers about how he thought the Israel and Hamas issue could be resolved. He preferred to dwell in the past, assign blame on Israel and avoided adding anything that might help move the discussion towards solutions.

Solid format

Wonderfully refreshing to listen to longer discussions without constant interruptions from the interviewer. Konstantin & Francis provide considered questions & insights at the right times and then aptly present their guests with the time & space to provide articulate & meaningful perspectives.
Great work gents.

What a brilliant conversation. What a brave articulate and astonishing woman. Completely absorbed with your interview oh the others are great too. John Anderson stands out (I’m Aussie…)

From woke Victoria Australia, just a message of thanks for your show. You discuss ideas we can’t openly talk about here without being ostracised at work. You’re inspiring!

Cowards who are afraid to be mean to THE enemy.

Once they went soft, they may as well go woke. They criticise Matt Walsh for being mean, whilst being ‘mean’ to him. Pathetic. Lost all credibility. The culture war will not be won with kindness… but with facts and logic.

It’s good a lot of the time

Oook so I just found out that adam carrola is not that articulate. We’re going from talking about dads to an analogy of termites. I’m not sure why he’s relevant to be interviewed.
I see there’s a lots-of problems-in-America-arch and how do we fix them. I don’t know that you two are the best to tackle this topic. But, I generally like the podcast and will keep listening

Amazing

I cannot wait each week to hear new episodes. I enjoy listening to both of them and really think they have rational thoughts and ask the curly questions. In this day and age people are fragile when having healthy conversation it should supported to have an opinion. This is what both of them do, bring about conversation.

Highly recommend

You may not like or agree with the guests, I like the respect they are shown by the hosts, and they ask questions that journalists, either will not ask or avoid asking in order to support their agenda

Grounded and comical

Discovered these guys a couple of months back and am working my way through all their content. LOVE the open, good faith , thoughtful yet still comical and irreverent discussions. Francis and Konstantin always give their guests respect and plenty of talking space. It’s deeply refreshing to hear a counter narrative that isn’t just ‘bashing’ the other side. Keep it up guys! No agenda, just interesting guests

These guys nail it with every guest. They always give them the chance to speak and finish their points and offer good devils advocate type questions regardless of whether or not they agree. It’s very refreshing to listen to a podcast that touches on political issues but doesn’t have an agenda.

An addition to my previous review...

I loved the podcast with Chris, the retired Jamaican police inspector, recently. An interesting interviewee, and a fine man with a big heart who threw light on the role of the police in modern times. I noticed a cartoon by Constantin in the New Yorker today so he’s a busy chap!

Brilliant is a word Konstantin Kissin uses often, and brilliant is this fresh, clever, thought provoking and humorous show. The episode with Coleman Hughes is outstanding.

Deeper than they let on

Usually an interesting listen, but the episode where Francis and Konstantin interview each other was great. They have led interesting lives that are normally reduced to one liners in their discussions with others. It’s been good to find out more about their own views and why they hold them. (Disclaimer: I am a Guardian reader 😀)

Loved the chat with Carl but can’t believe in a discussion like this you not once mentioned the Magna Carta. One of the most profound and liberating documents that has ever been written. And more relevant now than ever.

I just listened to the interview with Douglas Murray and as usual there were laugh-out-loud moments of humour throughout an intellectually riveting conversation. The Triggerpod guys are naturally great interviewers. Keep up the good work!

Triggernometry, Spiked and Reason are a core trio of rationality.
The Trigger lads are irreverent but never rude and are keen to allow their guests talk.

Konstantin remains very conservative, rarely vennturing from his trusted jacket and non-descript t-shirt. Whereas Fred Perry completes Francisco's life.

Cogent interviews

A breath of fresh air in the myriad of opinion pods. A double act that delve into the character of their interesting guests, laced with wit. Well done boys!
(As an aside and as the left and right aren’t talking, perhaps you could follow a left leaning economist with a right leaning person or a right comedian with a a leftist 🤗)
