Overall, the game gives you the relaxing vibes of the country side and tons of tasks to do. This could have been one of the perfect games but the control really needs an improvement. I know that this game has been ported from PC/Console but please try to do better with the controls. I am currently playing the game with a controller and a lot of times, the game will crash since I’m supposed to use the touch interface instead.
It still deserves a 5 star rating since the overall game is just perfect.

Been eyeing this gsme for quite a while, was on the fence until I read people recommending this game and so I finally gave in and bought it only to find out I can’t play the same farm on my ipad!!! Please make the icloud syncing asap.
I don’t want to play different farms on my apple devices. Doing the same task I’ve done was such a waste of time and waste of energy.
I play games to relax.
Feels like I wasted $5 just like that. Should’ve just bought something that would surely make me happy.
As what others have said on their reviews, the controls are so awful. Honestly not relaxing at all, this game just stresses me out. And no mini map too!

I had to reset so many days because an interaction using my Xbox Series X bluetooth controller causes the game to crash. It's guaranteed to crash when processing geodes using the controller. Im currently using an Ipad Pro 12.9 with the latest software and an Xbox Series X controller. Hoping for a fix in future versions.

Always pick this game up after work, it’s really addicting. I never got used to it on PC but it’s perfect on a tablet. There are a couple of things to improve:
- (bug) sometimes the screen turns black, with only the health bar and forage pointers (if u have it) showing. i can’t determine the trigger.
- (bug) the sound of the fishing reel sometimes continues even after fishing.
- (bug/improve) the controls are hard to use when attacking. Sometimes on autoattack, the character doesn’t respond to incoming monsters, just stands there. On onscreen manual control, not sure how to make it attack cos it’s very specific that the monster has to be right in front of you before you can attack. Hope the character can auto turn to face and attack the monster. So far it’s easier to autoattack, tho it’s like 95% working.
- (improve) i feel like the game has some sort of snapping mechanism with interactible objects/toons? Hoping it can be improved. The tap to walk routing is kinda awkward (nearest edge = longest route), and there has to be a clear path to your farm animals or else it just points to the nearest one, which can be redundant.

Hello! I have heard many great things about Stardew Valley and my first impression with it has been… interesting. The game has been very great so far but I have experiencing many crashes. Most of the time, my game crashes when I try to process Geodes, or when I have played for some time. I play Stardew Valley in an IPad 8th Generation and I have never experienced crashes on games ever since I played in this IPad. I have cleared my storage and has more needed free space. Been absolutely loving this game but there’s this frustrating thing where I can’t seem to be able to press the second option in Sebastian’s 6 heart event where they play a boardgame, it just freezes up. I love Stardew Valley but i have a problem after the update i can’t open my journal through my controller if i press select it will do nothing if i press it twice it will take a screenshot. And i can’t sort my inventory if i press down on the dpad the indicator that tells what item it is on will go to the left. And the chest seems a little annoying because I can’t use my controller to put the items in my inventory in the chest the indicator will just be stuck in the last slot in the chest, and I’ll have to use my fingers ti drag the item i’d like to store in the chest. Before the latest update a couple days ago I don’t have a problem with these issues, if i press Y on my controller it will open the journal and the chest situation is not there if i press down in the dpad it will go down. And i’m not a fan of the new feature which you press Y and it will open the crafting i don’t even craft that often i just usually farm and mine PS: Please bring back the old controls on the controller

Game is a solid 5 star don’t get me wrong, but as someone who comes from playing Stardew Valley on PC. Mobile controls and the overall user experience feels wonky and unpolished to the point that I felt that I really just have to issue a refund since the experience isn’t working out for me.
There are instances where exiting houses and going towards another place that’s south is a pain and have to press several times when it’s nearby the phone’s home button (the gesture swipe below the screen for iPhone 13) the gesture swipe icon also doesn’t hide itself automatically for some reason unlike games such as Wild Rift or Genshin Impact where accidental home swipes are rare since they’re hidden.
On another note, I’m aware that this suggestion has been brought up a ton of times already and the creator already said that he has no plans yet of implementing it in mobile because of technical reasons + would take a lot of time, but a multiplayer option would really be wonderful for mobile.

There are lots of times the app crushes. I tried to reinstall to no avail. Regardless, I love this game. I also bought it on Steam and have it on my lib at Xbox Live. I’ll consider buying it on Nintendo Switch once there’s any major updates that the mobile version don’t have. So far, nothing has beaten this game for me. Still one of the best farming games so far. Harvest Moon/Story of Seasons franchise is getting frustrating lately. Farming games nowadays are trying too hard on graphics and forcing magic into the game; making it “cute” and stuff. They lost the essence of the seasonal farming, building relationships with villagers, solid story for the village/town and its locals; memorizing what they love and hate and bdays! And courting the npc to reach the marriage system and have a tiny toddler that seems to be eternally young unless you dloaded a mod; and building your farm’s economy and contribute to the village’s growth i.e. becoming part of their community. This game has it all.

First, I would like to thank the team and of course ConcernedApe for their hard work on this game! I’ve been enjoying it since it’s release on mobile & it never fails to amaze me how entertaining & comforting the game is! ✨ Though, just wanted to report some glitches/nuances I’ve been encountering: 1) Major glitch on Leah heart event. I’ve experienced several glitches (super slow animation of scene + dialogue) on cut scenes leading to Leah’s art show. And when the final cutscene did happen, the game just stopped the scene in the middle & I wasn’t able to finish it. It’s a big deal as we know that heart events can only happen once in each game play through :(( 2) Crabpots, placing, putting bait, picking them up, harvesting catch - all very difficult to do. It’s very frustrating interacting with them 3) I’ve been working on secret note #14, did my research & attempted it several times (clicking on the area indicated) to no avail. I can assume that this might be a unique mobile platform glitch :(( 4) Lastly, like the rest of the community patiently waiting for 1.5 update. Hoping it would come through this year. Also, for the next update, we hope mobile players won’t be “left out”. Hope you can look into the glitches I’ve shared & thanks! 😊

This game is my stress reliever. I hope the developers can add the child to npc as an official update in the game. The game is basically forever-ish so might as well make the babies grow and become npcs. This would add spice to the game making the personality of the children a surprise depending on how you took care of them as kids. I saw several people in forums wishing this dream update will come. If it’s hard maybe limit the number of kids? I’m still new and currently on year one so I’m not an expert yet. Really hoping for this update. Thanks devs!

I love this game. The only problem is that there's this bug that freezes the NPC's in the cutscenes, which stops the scene from playing. This always happens to me and because of this, I'd have to restart my day trying to make the cutscene play over again. I was checking on the top paid apps and suddenly I saw this app and read it’s description. Read a few reviews about it and in just a few minutes, i bought already.
This is the game where you can spend most of your boring time into something relaxing. I just hope you can make the joysticks as a default control for mobile and also make it more visible and maybe an image on the weapon or OKAY button. I suggest that the joystick with tap feature is the best way to play this game. I also bought on PC to be able to play the multiplayer mode. Hope it comes to mobile soon. Love the app and giving it a 5 stars. More adventures to go! Kudos to the developer!

Great game. But this is for the developer of this port, please fix the toolbar padding. I have set mine at zero and still, at the start of the game (newly loaded from the title screen), the padding resets as if I didn’t set it to zero. They way I get rid of that padding is go to the settings (gamepad icon) and just exit. That’s it. But the issue is I have to do it each and every time I load the game to play. Making the setting useless. No other way will make the padding reset to zero other than what I did. Come on, it’s been like that since Day 1.
Other than that, kudos to the solo developer ConcernedApe. For this mobile port though, there’s still a lot of lingering issues not being addressed.

This is the first game in mobile phone that i became so addicted. Initially, i thought the game is just a downgraded version of HMFOM, as the graphics (of stardew) is quite inferior. But i was wrong. Graphics when you get used it is okay, the varieties of things you can do here is SUPERB. PLENTY of NPCs, animals, crops, houses, with missions.

The game is great but it keeps on crashing in the middle of the day in game and when I try to open it again, the day resets and all my progress for that day is lost!!! I really love playing this but please fix this issue. The time spent on one day turns to waste especially when I went for mining that day. It’s frustrating!!!

I've been playing this game for quite some time now, and it's amazing! There's so much to do even after completing the community center, and the characters are so distinct. I’ve been playing stardew valley on the pc for days and it was the best. i was happy to find it here too and downloaded it. it was still the greatest,but there was just too many bugs, like when tailoring, i was going to change the color of my farmer pants, but when i finished i couldnt accept or exit the menu because the menu was distorted! and i was forced to exit the game and lose a whole lot of progress made that day.i really do hope the menus would be fixed, and be better looking and droping objects would be implemented soon. if these problems would be fixed, that would be when i will give stardew valley mobile 5 stars.

Just started playing, it’s an amazing game where you can sink hours into, even though at first it’s hard to get into. My highlight of this game is having those “relationships” may it be friendship or more than that. There’s so much going on in there. I’ve been playing the game for a year now. I must say, it is worth it. I really like the update with fish ponds and other quality of life adjustments. However, I’ve been thinking some other things that needs adjustment:
1. Junimo Hut: I really like the idea of getting help from Junimo’s however the range of the hut is so small. They also do not harvest fast enough. I am just kind of disappointed since they are not worth the price.
2. The children: The children are one the main goals in any farm games (e.g. Harvest Moon) however, they are entirely useless. They do not grow up and help in the farm. They are just a waste of space. If you could change that and make them grow up a little older so we can assign jobs to them like harvesting or patting the animals.
3. Lag: I experience lagging in the game when too many animals are let out from their barns and coops. It is honestly really annoying.
4. Lonely Stone? Can you make an update wherein we can go to a distant island such that lonely stone in the map that makes a stone sound when tapped. It will be a cool expansion.
5. Land expansion: I feel like the area is just too small now. I want to make more barns and plant more plants but the area is limited. I cannot demolish buildings cause they are just really important.
6. Cellar expansion / cellar upgrade in a shed: The cellar in the house is just too small. I want to create more iridium artisan products but the cellar is just too small.

I’ve bought this game a few weeks ago and I’m in love with it. It brings back memories of me playing harvest moon for hours and I just can’t bring myself to put the game down until I was tired. I have one issue though, I never had any problems with the Junimo hut up until the 1.4 update. Whenever the junimos harvest the crops that I planted, it doesn’t seem to show up in th hut inventory. Best purchase made so far! I like all the features of the game; everyday is an adventure 😁 I spend so many hours playing this game.
However I would just like to suggest to have another way to switch or transfer files between iphone and ipad because sometimes I would like to play my farm on a larger screen at home and then when I’m outside, it’s more convenient to use the iphone. It is tricky to use the files app for file transfer. Also if we could just have multiple save files per farm that is easily accessible through the menu, that would be great! Anyway I hope you can do something about it! I still love the game though! 😍

I love Stardew Valley and I have been playing it since it came out on Steam. I was so happy when it became available on mobile cause now I can play it while in transit. However I noticed that my game hasn’t been saving. It stays on the “Saving...” screen and does not progress. I really love this game but sometimes the app crashes mid game and all my progress for the day is gone since you can only save when you go to sleep. Hope this can be fixed by an update or something cause its really frustrating to spend 1 game day on mining for example and then the game crashes and all my progress is reset to the beginning of the day. I love Stardew Valley. It is the second game that I bought with my money for the handheld media hahaha. ( I don't buy games cause maybe its not worth the effort or somewhat). At first it's different compared to its pc counterpart but being able to experience the joy of farming on the go is a worth while dream to me.
My main concern is its controls. Whenever I edit the controls they go back to their default position which is strange considering I already edited it TWICE. And the touch button is weird, since I use the tap and visible buttons control with enlarged movement button, tapping can go through the button which makes it inefficient whenever I spelunk into the depths of a cave. It also affects the other buttons too, idk why. I didn't like the control scheme of the game and may need work. It's there, but it is not 'friendly' enough, per se, for an average consumer to use the application normally.
Even though this is my main gripe, I still love the gameplay of Stardew Valley. This is my go-to game when I was depressed and it helped me a lot in doing stuff. It got better with the update and hopefully it will still remain popular and good throughout the years.

I have been enjoying the PC version of the game, but this version with the controls limited to touch/tap made the combat somewhat awkward. My current playthrough has the mining aspect behind due to that.
However on the other end, the auto changing of tool with respect to the tile being processed feels good.
But overall with the awkward combat I still prefer the PC version. Granted this is still a pretty good mobile game with plenty of content. If you can get around the combat system, you’d easily sink in hours and hours into this game.

Hello. I‘ve been playing Stardew Valley on PC so when I heard that it was also gonna be released on iOS, I didn‘t hesitate to buy it directly. I must admit, there were a few changes like the combat system, also that some controls were diferent but one thing stood out for me: the fishing mini-game. It was so easy to fish using my iPad that I was able to level up my fishing quickly. However, as I started a new save file (and I think some updates happened), the fishing mini-game became quite the catastrophe for me. Instead of the usual normal sized fishing bar with the fish icon and the bar that you need to maintain behind the fish to capture it, what appeared was a huge amd wide fishing bar on the right side of the screen, WITHOUT any animation for both the fish and the bar. Basically, I was doing invisible fishing. Please fix this. Thank you.
