Fighter pilot

Some books you can't wait to finish, as you want to know how it ends. This book I didn't want to end. I could have read another 500 pages of his mis-adventures. Great stuff. Well written and a great laugh.

Fighter pilot

The story of this one man's journey through one of the toughest professions known to man is an insight to what is required to be at the top of your game. It also typifies the absolute contempt the fighter pilot had for anyone/regulation whilst in the protected brotherhood of being an RAAF pilot! If we had tried to do half the stuff you and you fellow aviators got away with, we would of been packed off to Holsworthy as quick as blinking! At least you finally saw the RAAF for what it was an 'old boys flying club' with expensive toys to play with!
