Description

Summer. Massachusetts.
An old Silver Wraith with a frightening history. A story about one serial killer and his lingering, unfinished business.
Anyone could be next.
We're going to Christmasland ...
NOS4R2 is an old-fashioned horror novel in the best sense. Claustrophobic, gripping and terrifying, this is a story that will have you on the edge of the seat while you read, and leaving the lights on while you sleep. With the horrific tale of Charles Manx and his Silver Wraith, Joe Hill has established himself as the premiere horror and supernatural thriller writer of his generation.

NOS4R2

Good story, with enough to keep you reading. Some irritations about the layout. The use of continued sentences into titles which breaks the reading flow and feels like a cheap bad gimmick. I can't imagine it works any better on paper vs ebook. Some minor grammar nits that I found annoying. Still, overall a well paced and entertaining read - no regrets for the experience of the story itself.

Great read.

Bit like Stephen Kings meets SAW. Make sure you read all the acknowledgements. There is a very interesting epilogue hidden in there. Well worth the effort.

Fantastic

Some interesting ideas and classic Hill themes. Can't wait to read more stories from the night road.

Awesome!

NOS4R2 is a story about a mother's love for her child and her non-stop, do anything attitude to protect them. When Vic's son is kidnapped by the same person that took her years earlier, Vic needs to overcome her own problems and reunite with all the people she loves to get her son back. Once she has repaired the Triumph motorcycle, she once again has access to her secret bridge and she can finally chase Charles Talent Manx into Christmasland to find her son. This book was a roller coaster ride. I got confused in the beginning with how it was set out, but about a third into the book it all started coming together and I couldn't put it down or stop thinking about it. I recommend this story for all horror lovers.
