I've read quite a few thousand books in my lifetime, 50 this year and as a bookworm I really thoroughly enjoyed this book! Looking forward to the rest of the series.

This book is so good that I could not put it down!

Poorly written - more suitable for 12 years old! Storyline has been done to death by Twilight / Vampire Diaries. Did not finish the book.

It's pretty good, it's clearly a mixture of twilight and pride and prejudice, but it's still a good read :)

Ok read but there were so many plot holes and character glazing; where the behaviors of a character felt disjointed and arbitrary to their motives. Also Duncan and Samuel felt like a cross breed between Stephen and Damon off vampire diaries with twilight themes...

I just couldn't stop reading it! Do yourself a favor and download!!

Felt like I was re-reading VAMPIRE DIARIES crossed TWILLIGHT, basically the same story line, as VP, with some TL thrown in. Could be more original, but since everyone loves a good vampire read.. Looks like the author can get away with stealing someone else's ideas.

I noticed that it followed a plot line like Twilight but for what it's worth I think this is waaaaaaay better. Loved it. Can't wait until Forever comes out.

Its good the only thing is it just like readin twilight there alot of the same lines used as well .but it still good .

Got hooked from page one; enjoyed the Storyline and Characters and now awaiting the next volume.

I liked it but personally would prefer more action. :)

I thought it was a good read but wouldn't rave about. I enjoyed the first half of the book much better than the last as I found it rushed so that I didn't actually believe she would up and leave after so little time and build up with Samuel. If more time was taken building that relationship think it would have flowed better.. But still is it legal to publish something that is clearly a take off of another writer??

Omg, I couldn't put the book down, it's a lot like twilight but I still love it, it's so sweet. Some words didn't fit into the sentence because it was a typo but you could easily replace it and it would make sense.

Amazing book, really. I rarely read but I read this one to the end. Of course, I seen a lot of spelling/grammar mistakes and many similar scenes from twilight, but other than that, I loved it. 5 stars. Now I just need to search for the next one xD

Interesting storyline however I think that Stephanie Meyer should receive some kind of commission from each book sold because the author has clearly copied majority of the plot from twilight. Spellcheck wouldn't go astray either.

Loved every second of it! Well written, suspenseful just excellent.

This is a beautifully written book.....very similar to the twilight series i first thought however it became so much more.... The characters were beautifully written and showed so much depth...I cannot wait to see how the story continues to unfold with the love triangle that has developed..... I could not put my iPad down after downloading this book.....I cannot wait to read the next installment!
