I first thought the size of this book might cause the story to drag. I could not have been further from the truth. More than once I laughed or snickered.then so many times I headed for the tissues. Carolyn will capture your heart from the start as the story builds to a very satisfying end. This one is a keeper!

I struggled to get into the story but once I did it had me! Hook, line and sinker! I fell in love with Carolyn and her gorgeous personality. What a great read, would recommend if you're looking for something different.

Should be made in to a movie , page after page of believable reading , it didn't want the story to end

Kept me interested until the end. Kind of knew where it was heading half way through, but kept reading - enjoyed it!

Great story. Couldn't stop reading it.the topic is something never heard of before but its happen to some people in the world eventhough is rare. Make us thing that nothing is not impossible.

Can't believe it's free - couldn't put it down!

An all round good read. It got better as it went on, and i couldnt put it down during the final battle scene. Minor annoyance on the over-use of the terms 'rear-view mirror' and 'do-ra-mi'.

I loved this book. I couldn't put it down and walked around the house with my iPad for two days until I finished it. The narrative was great, the characters detailed and the plot, while unbelievable at first prompted research on the topic which proved plausible. I really enjoyed the story and found great closure at the end of the book with the reality of the storyline outlined. Scary thought of what could happen but definitely brought me to tears - almost sobbing for the final chapter. Great read and a wonderful thriller. Couldn't believe it was free but will certainly be looking for other books by the same author.

This has been the best book I have read in about 4 years and I seriously cannot believe it's free. The author really did a great job creating the personalities of each character and inter-relating everyone together in the end. The plot was unbelievably smart and thrilling, by chapter 25 it was difficult to stop reading as it became so immersive. This should really become a film. It was an excellent read.

If your a fan of the Da Vinci Code or Angels and Demons by Dan Brown or films such as the Bourne Identity and Taken then Painless is certainly a read for you.

This was a good read, not sure if this is his first novel or not.. Great storyline though found a couple of places didn't flow that well and some parts a little unbelievable... But all in all pretty good.

Great read. I could not put it down from about the half way point. I found the ending a bit rushed, but not what I expected. Keep up the good work.
