I really with this had been an enjoyable series to read, especially since my ADHD does not allow me to NOT finish the entire series. I would have given up 3/4 of the way through the first book if I could. Plots twists that you see coming a mile away that just seem to go round and round in circles. Concept is unique but poorly executed.

If you’re looking for books similar to ACOTAR or Fourth Wing, don’t waste your time with this one. The storyline is weak, the main character is undercooked (and infuriating) and overall it just falls very short in comparison to other romantasies . Got halfway through the next book in this series and couldn’t continue because the writing in my opinion was just so bad.

The story starts off slow, giving you the feeling that maybe it won’t be what you expected. BUT trust me it gets exciting, leaving you wanting to read the next chapter. I am loving this author and look forward to reading more.

One of the best books I’ve read.. ever!

Proclaimed as being of the same calibre as Sarah J Maas and Jennifer Armentrout, I had high hopes for this book… unfortunately, it is gratuitious sexual violence, loose plot and a predictable story line.

Hooked me from the very first page, I started two days ago and I’m already up to the third, honestly can’t put it down 🥰

M
