When I had gotten this arc from Booksprout I didn’t realise that I had already bought this book last year but hadn’t had a chance to read it until now and I’m so glad I did. I liked October but I didn’t like it when she kept sticking up for her mother, her mother was a piece of work kicking the kids out of the trailer when they were just kids not good at all. But October believed that her mother deserved a chance with her new boyfriend but that was the kind of person October was. October has OCD and that makes her more human in this story and it would be so hard for her working as a nurse in a prison of all places but she makes it work. I did enjoy reading this story and I look forward to reading the rest of this series, a great read and I recommend this book it’s well worth the read.
