Description

"Damn, Audrey did it again! Made me smile, made me laugh & made me cry with her beautiful words! I am in love with these books.”
–Hooks & Books Blog
Synopsis
Mountains, miracles, and marriage.
I had no idea what to expect when the producers of Dr. Hoffman sent me to the pristine white mountains of Aspen, Colorado. As the town of Aspen is known for being a winter haven for uber-rich Americans, I knew this desert cactus was going to be way out of her element. The ace up my sleeve however, was a high-class movie-making surfer whose family owned a cabin in those snowy hills. With him by my side, I’d make the most out of the experience.
The job was assigned under unusual circumstances. An anonymous mountain man paid a hefty fee to persuade the producers of my show to send me out for a segment on local artisans. Suited up in my parka and Ugg boots, I put the warmth of the California sun in the rearview mirror and headed to a winter wonderland. With my newfound family in tow, I was prepared to celebrate the best month the year had to offer…until the one woman who drastically changed my life all those years ago appeared like a shadow out of pure frosted air, shattering my soul all over again.
***
In the twelfth and final book in the Calendar Girl serial, Mia is off to Aspen, Colorado to film a segment on local artists. Prepare to be wowed as Mia’s journey merges into the ending everyone has been waiting for.
Warning: This book is designed for audiences 18+ due to language and graphic sexual content.
This iBooks Edition contains: a bonus scene titled Valentine’s Day Interlude.

Favourite books so far!

Loved them better than 50 shades. Loved all of the characters and all of the months. I would laugh, cry, cry again, and just get lost in Mia's life. Thanks so much. Wish they kept going! Looking forward to your next books. Although Mia will be a tough act to follow!

Spoilers! 3 out of 5

The structure of the story while a fantastic idea, is poorly written. The characters have no depth, mainly the main love interest this man claims to feel intense love for the main heroine, yet seemingly knows nothing about her. Their time together is spent mostly sleeping together. There seems to be no real conversations about each others personality, likes and goals. He seems to find out only the slight bits of information about the "love of his life " through very short comments made by her.
As for the main heroine Mia, this girl who most certainly has had a rough life. Seems to instantly enjoy having no period for 12 months while she travels around America escorting with men she hardly knows. While she is fixing their lives,in a miraculous twist of fate her life comes together. And she finds her true self by being an escort to Americas wealthy(glamourising this particular employment along the way).I don't find her to have any depth at all.
That being said as I'm quickly writing this review to move on to more reading,I did somewhat enjoy the story. Even with its failures it's a decent read. References have been made if you liked "fifty shades of grey" you will enjoy this. I agree! Although I don't claim to agree that fifty shades is in anyway a book, rather it is dribble by a bored house wife who has no right to claim she is an author . This particular series has far more merit. Despite the poor relationships that have no depth, it's actually an exciting and brilliant story.

Calendar Girls Series

I loved reading this series, a great love story with a unique storyline. Paired with the sexy that goes with a love story making it a truly remarkable read. Highly recommend for all the romantics to read.

Bittersweet, but beautiful ending.

DECEMBER, while the last instalment in this yearlong saga of a young woman forced to bear the weight of her parent’s bad decisions, is anything but the end.
Through the months, readers have seen the term “Trust the Journey” on many an occasion, but the journey was just the beginning. For Mia’s journey would open her heart to not only trusting others and trusting in herself, but most importantly, and the root of her darkest fear, was learning to trust in love.
Through heartache, tragic secrets, serenity, and ultimately the love of family, this final chapter brings a bittersweet close to the Calendar Girl series; but after shedding more than a few tears, both in anger and in joy, I read the last page with a smile on my face and a feeling of fulfilment.
This story will squeeze your heart to the point of pain and then release you on a gentle sigh, but if at the end we each reach out to those we love, swept away by the treasure that we hold, the journey will be complete.
