Love the service (but…)
I love gojek. I have used it all around Bali. The drivers are really good. But… they need an option for “driver is driving away” in the cancellation menu. Why do some drivers accept the trip and then just drive away. No message explaining that they are turning around or anything. Just keep driving away. It’s odd an annoying and unnecessary.

The app appears nowhere in mobile data list. This means that you can’t check whether it will work when off wifi.
None of the drivers in Ubud turn up with the correct number plate as shown in the booking. This makes passengers lose trust with the brand.

Ordered food, waited an hour, was raining so was happy to wait the extra 30-40 mins but then cancelled after waiting order was delivered, we waited for 5-10 mins in rain expecting food but nothing, and all we get is money back after all the hassle of waiting and getting wet and hungry after 1 hour and 20 mins

Support sucks! Cannot change payment type
I’ve ordered food many times and I usually pay with card. But if there’s a mistake and need to pay with card, there is no cancellations, which means the driver will still pick up the food and deliver it, even though it can’t be paid for (no cash on hand and no ATMs around) the support on their Gojeck app sucks big time. They need a much better system in place here. The driver didn’t get paid and people refused the food. Sort it out gojeck!

Gojek is exactly what you need when travelling to Bali or Indonesia. It’s great if you want to order food or just get a a car to take you back to your hotel when it’s raining if you’re just a single traveller I definitely recommend for if you don’t have a motorbike just to get on a bike with Gojek. Definitely recommend this for everyone.

Missing the option to tip the drivers after the order has already been completed. Competitor app has this option, and it would be really beneficial to the employees to be able to receive deserved tips later on.

This app has been an absolute holiday saver for us!! To be able to get vegan food or a driver anywhere we are has been nothing short of a miracle. I would recommend this app to anyone travelling to Bali. Honestly, without this we would’ve really struggled, especially with food options.

Indonesian Gojek don’t bother
The drivers just cancel your order whenever they don’t want to deliver something or think you’re slightly too far and out of the area they want to stay in. Too far for them can be anything more than 2km away.
Even ordering on gomart - store kept cancelling my order without explanation, there were drivers already accepting and driving to the mart. Everytime I repeat the order the same driver is accepting and tells me the store is the once cancelling but not saying why.
I keep trying and after 8 attempts (because I wanted to annoy them until they communicated the reason for cancelling - if it is out of stock of 1 thing just tell me so I can adjust my order) it eventually goes through, the driver arrives, and there is no stock issue. The store workers just were cancelling because they were also lazy to process the order. Driver said the store was not busy either so couldn’t not see a reason for them to do so.
Trying to contact Gojek to report the problem - there is no way to do so.
Use Grab - At least there you can always report to them and talk to a human very easy. Also the drivers and stores never cancel like this.

Great Cashless Food & Transport
Gone are the days of struggling to carry enough small money around with me. And that’s before battling taxis with broken meters and drivers hassling me. Gojek trumps Grab for price and the App has a better feel. You can add your credit card too. Also my go to App for food order/delivery

Gojek does not care about the customer experience, and their customer service is entirely an automated system, so good luck when you encounter issues with them, which you will. I will be using Grab from now on, at least when they make a mistake they will compensate for it. Gojek has double standards, if the customer cancels their order after 4 mins we still have to pay. I waited 1.5hours then Gojek cancelled my order saying, it timed out! I tried contacting them, I’m still unable to speak with a real person or get a proper response. They just say sorry we will do better next time or send completely irrelevant messages. It’s not acceptable! Avoid the hassle. There is a better alternative. Maybe when Gojek loses more of their customers they will begin to change their policy to show fairness and good faith when they are at fault for a poor experience!

Honestly every time i’ve come to bali there’s always something up with this app.
The fact you can’t cancel you’re order even if you’ve waited 2 HOURS!! and receiving the food gross n cold, the restaurants won’t contact you even if you’ve waited that long.
Sometimes the food isn’t even what you ordered, or it’s the biggest catfish looking thing ever.
Go jek doesn’t warn you about drivers not having cash on them to receive change for yourself so if your on a budget and not wanting to waste money don’t use cash for this app.
You can’t contact the restaurants anyway unless they contact you which is 0% chance they will.
The reviews on every place you look there will be fake reviews double up so be careful.
For (ubering) to places there’s no rating to the drivers name so you can’t check if they have bad reviews or not so if you get a bad driver I wish the best of luck for you, But most of the time the drivers are lovely and friendly.

Poor and lazy customer service
I ordered the soup, but it was packed in a plastic bag at the store. And I asked for a spoon and chopsticks, too. But they didn't come. I was staying at a hotel. There were no bowls of any kind. So I contacted the customer service center and they unilaterally ended the conversation, saying they couldn't find any problems. And this process went very slowly. I ended up throwing the food away. I had to order a new one. I have to pray that these lazy children won't have a problem in the first place. I wasted my money, my time and my feelings.

Inflexible and poorly designed
Made one order with Gojek food delivery on a busy evening, and it ended up being a 1.5hr affair.
Unfortunately the app has a lot of restaurants who take on orders they cannot fulfil, and the drivers + consumers are left empty handed. The process for canceling an order (when it is obvious it won’t be fulfilled) is completely inflexible and there is no way to actually speak to an individual to explain the issues.
I would stick with grab. Thus far it’s been a better experience.

I’m generally quite content with the application, however this morning the App automatically ordered a car without my direction. I had opened the app purely to check the price. I got a notification that $value was blocked against my card, however the app did not indicate a car was ordered. Only later I got a notification that car had arrived to my surprise!

Worst costomer service
I used the Gojek taxi service while I was in Bali (Aug 2024) and I left one of my valuable personal items in the Gojek taxi. I tried to contact the driver through the app, but the provided driver’s contact number was not working, then I contacted Gojek customer care and they initially created a ticket for the lost item and promissed to contact the driver and get back to me. Later I tried to contact the Gojek customer care service a few times and left a few messages through the app, but the customer care never replied to me or never get back to me. It is so dissapointed about the Gojek customer care service, also it seems that it is very unsafe to use Gojek service as the provided driver’s contact number is not in use which is a big question about the passengers safety. The poor way that Gojek responded to this matter shows that they don’t care about the passengers safty.

But because your service was having issues with taking a payment automatically when my ride was matched. My ride was cancelled by your service. I couldn’t order a ride and pay with cash. Drivers are on time and friendly. But one place I went to - and the app is to blame. I needed to go to Arapan Eco Villa at Ubud and it took me and the driver to a DIFFERENT Eco Villa at Ubud. Please fix that as I heard that it has happened to other people and I was dropped 25 minutes away and my phone died and the driver had left. It was horrible.

We live in Bali now but I remember how difficult it was to navigate the new country in the start. Gojek make it simple when you are in a villa and don’t know how to get food, beverages or even a ride down to the shop. Great service and will continue using them when we are in town!

So annoying when you can’t cancel
So in Bali literally no restaurant or cafe will make your order until the driver is at the venue. Yet gojek insists on delaying the order for the resto. So you basically wait 15 minutes for nothing. Then at the slightest sign of rain all the drivers cancel delivery. On the app you cannot cancel so you just get stuck in this death loop of drivers being assigned and constantly cancelling. It can go on for hours and gojek basically traps you into the experience.

This stupid app has no way to report when a driver turns up with incorrect number plate. I had a guy today who refused to cancel and drove for miles without me in the car because he wouldn’t cancel the ride even though he showed up with a random number plate.
Gojek endangers passengers by allowing drivers like that to keep getting away with it.
Fix your support menus to make it possible to report poor behaviour like this, otherwise it will continue to happen.

Non - existent customer service
Wanted to use Gojek for an upcoming trip to Bali. Created an account, registered my debit card - which was accepted - but was informed that I was not able to save it to the app and to try later; which I have been doing - all unsuccessful. Emailed Gojek customer support 4 days ago, answered the queries they sent me re my card - and have heard nothing since - despite a further 3 emails enquiring re the status of my issue.
Not at all impressed with Gojek - I hope this reaches someone who actually cares!

Should be able to rate driver/rider who cancels booking
Same with Uber, drivers and riders can cancel your pickup at any stage without penalty. I think these apps should allow you to at least rate the fact they have cancelled so you can weed out the ones that do it regularly.

No Customer Service Assistance
My GO-JEK customer app has suddenly been blocked. Every time I would like to make a GoFood order, a notice appear for me to contact customer service. And every time I contact customer service they only say that they will make a report to the technical team and they don’t know what’s wrong or why my account have been blocked. Its been blocked for 10 days now. And for every order of GoFood or GoShop I have always pay in cash for the last year. Please improve your customer service as they cannot provide any answer nor assistance.

Very bad maps
Why does Gojek (and Grab) use maps that are so poor and out of date? Deliveries have trouble finding me because the maps have old information and roads that don’t exist. Google maps are much better. I always have to send a Google Maps reference for drivers or they will not find me 😩.

If you actually obey the laws in Bali then most ppl wouldn’t be hiring motorbikes so we rely on gojek to get us everywhere and it is such an efficient way to get around and order food. The customer service is swift if there are any issues. I wish services back home were as good

Attention developers!
The app is very good! I spend a lot of time in Bali. The he drivers are great! The service is excellent. The English version of the app is as good as any App in Australia.
My only feedback about the app is; I can’t add a tip with my method of payment which is a Australian credit card.
When a toll road is used, I still need cash to pay the driver.
Please update the app to allow tipping with either the main payment of add an additional credit card tip option.
I think it’s only fair also that if a toll road is used it is added to the main payment for the trip. Other than this points I really love your app.

Useless app
Use my new phone number to login only to find someone else’s name and email address with trips from last year. Wouldn’t let me update the details to my own because it’s “too soon for security reasons”… yet they show me someone else’s personal information!
Deleted the account (which they did let me do!) and started a new one with the same phone number but this time my own email address. Do you think the “verify email” button or link works? It just sends you to a screen to download the app you’ve already downloaded. Giving up and trying out Grab.

This app has really made it safe and simple to get around. Every driver I’ve had has been great, whether i went with a taxi or a motorbike. It has also removed the drama of haggling for a fare. I have had only good experiences with this app!

GoJek has changed my experience in Bali, no more wrangling with Taxis on the street, just pick out your phone and you will have a fast reliable service with no angst about the fee.. I always tip generously because I am happy to pay them well for such good service!

A scam
I have my bank account in to pay my rides, and then they take away all the the promotions and vouchers stating that my account is sketchy evenwhen I only used it once and always pay upfront with my bank account.
If you think my account is sketchy pls remove my detail and bank account, stop taking money from it.
I call customer service no one know what to do anything and you cannot contact directly the department who in charge. When ask why my account is sketchy they use the same copy paste format not even try to resolve the problem.

3 of us had the app. All worked well for 2 weeks then we all, one after another, got an error message stating that there was something wrong with our account and needed to contact them. We only ever paid cash for our trip so no issue or changes with our accounts anyway. No option in app to contact them and the tourists sim in Bali did allow you to call their number. So we were all locked out. So can no longer use the service. Very poor set up.

Somewhere to go, no way to get there
My motorbike had broken down. I was meant to meet the gang five minutes ago. They would start the DnD campaign without me if I didn’t get there soon. I couldn’t let that happen. I worked so hard on my character. It was the strongest in the troupe. Also the smallest, but that doesn’t really matter.
Then I remembered I had GoJek. I dialled someone in. They arrived in two minutes, like an angel riding a winged horse. Taking all the shortcuts needed to get me there as quick as I could. I walked in as they rolling for who goes first. I rolled a twenty.

Wrongfully charged many times
We are in bali for only a week and have used Gojek twice and both times we were charged more than we should.
Firstly, I tried to change the payment method from cash to card, it was having a issue saying to try again, I kept trying after my ride, there was no money left on my bank account because I was charged EIGHT times on top of paying by cash to the driver!
Then again, tried to change payment method, same error and same thing happened. Charged by card and had to pay by cash.
We are leaving Bali in 2 days and are running short on money now because of this!!! How can this even happen!!!??? Dodgy!!!

So convenient. Easy to use. I do wish it was possible to link the “tip” function to the same account that we use to pay. At the moment it is not a simple process for foreigners to be able to tip via Gojek so we must resort to tipping with cash which we don’t always have.

It is very useful yet out dated app.
With complicated app I often made mistake,Imagine the driver and our elders using this app.
When you ordered food or driver it’s hard to find the button that it says on process order.
The booking that have been made or on going could be better on top rather than stupid adverstising.
The worst part when the app couldn’t find the driver it still looking for the driver even thou I pushed the “x” sign as a result you ‘ll book 2 drivers you feel guilty for the rest of your life because need to cancel 1 of them. Seriously this app need to get it updated!

A big no.
Haven’t had anything nice to say about this app. Wouldn’t be using this app if it didn't have the local shop i often buy from. App is terrible to navigate about. Delivery fee through the roof. Can’t cancel order from the app either which makes you spend a bit extra to call up the restaurant to cancel orders then tell all 6 different drivers you’d like the order cancel. Had my eyes glued to the phone to make sure no one went to pick up the canceled order for hours, so to speak.
Customer service did absolutely nothing to help- and just left you wondering what to do with the order you have on your app that you want to cancel. To conclude this, i’ve deleted the app and will not be coming back. Good riddance.

Couple of things to improve. 1-Allocate nearby drivers please; 2-do not pop up rating for drivers.
I'm using it in Vietnam. It once allocated me a driver from where my destination is....Unless there are heaps of drivers around otherwise the app will allocate drivers from far far away. If there is no driver around you don't have to allocate one immediately. In this regard Grab is much better even GoViet was a bit better.
The second thing is about the auto poping up of rating for drivers. The star buttons are at the exact same places as 'GoBike' and 'GoCar' it pops up 3 seconds after we launch the APP. It means when I choose 'GoBike' I may accidentally gave my previous driver a 1 star....It is not a reasonalbe design. Please remove the pop up function but make it a drop down notification or move the job order functions to the top. Please do not overlap.

Horrible support
I had to change my number recently which means I had to make a new Gojek account. When I went to make an account one already existed with a different name so I contacted support to see what was going on and they said it’s okay to use, then suddenly I got blocked from using the account all together when it’s my phone number connected to it??
They should really sort out a way to fix this because numbers are constantly being recycled and now I can’t even order a bike when I’m in need of one or make a new account because it keeps bringing me back to this useless blocked account. Not impressed

Huge Safety concern needs to be addressed ASAP!
It is useful for those with no local Bank Card because you can pay for your food delivery in cash, to the driver. But my first order was a bit of a mess.
1. As soon as I ordered, the driver called me twice asking for the address of the restaurant, like this is my job. He sounded a bit upset that I wasn’t helpful.
2. Due to the location system, the address was set as our neighbor’s place. So to fix this error, I messaged him the correct address and waited for him in advance so he doesn’t deliver it to the incorrect address. When I saw the uniform, I called for him and he looked WAAAAAY older than his profile photo. The delivery guy then proceeded to tell me that the driver on the profile is his son. No apologies, no explanation and no care given. What the? Imagine how dangerous it would be to use their goCar service and being picked up by someone who is NOT on the driver profile.

Improve the menus of fast food restaurants
Some restaurants don’t have the entire menu on the app which is quiet frustrating. I’d rather have the entire menu with an order minimum than having to order Paket with every burger I want.
Other than that’s very practical and well designed app.
I also suggest that you include all services /into/ the app so they can be ordered from the Gojek straight away instead of taking you to another app.

Its a usefull app
But was wondering why they don’t improve it. Like working together with the restaurants/cafes. I mean like something in Aussie, they have uber, deliveroo, menulog, it is similar with gojek although they don’t offer as many service. But they work together with the restaurant in a way that, the driver doesn’t have to order the food, because the thing they order has got into their system and payed directly as in paying with credit card or if using gojek could use the gopay system. So, they only take the food/beverage thats been order and made/cook. It will make ordering food/beverages easier and faster.
Other than that its a really useful app they can do a lot of service like taxi, buy and deliver food, buy groceries, send packages, do message, etc

keep crashing
i’m using the newest version of iOs and this app. it keeps crashing over and over again. i need to uninstall it and re-install it again to operate, when it works and i want to order goride or gocar it crashed. this happens to the previous version of this app too! and i’m using iPhone 5s, and it happens not only for my but to my friends who are using the same phone as mine! y’all better get y’all’s stuff together if y’all want y’all customers to be loyal to you! thank you!

Great when on holiday
I live in Australia but use this app when visiting Bali. It is honestly the best ! Makes getting around to different locations so easy and at a great price. When I don’t feel like walking to get food the choices are endless and are delivered straight to my hotel. Love it, makes my time away from home so much smoother.

Great app!!
Visiting Bali for the first time, this app has made life so much easier and cheaper to get around hassle free without being ripped off, I have used it every day multiple times for food and car rides and can’t fault it at all, highly recommend for anyone travelling to use!! 12/10!!!

Disappointed with CANCELLATIONS
14Apr Sunday approximately about 7pm, I made a booking to Sembawang Hill, which was promptly accepted. After 10min, it was cancelled.
Retried another booking which was again promptly accepted, but somehow cancelled after a few minutes.
Retried for the 3rd time, promptly accepted. After a few minutes the driver called me to cancel as he was too far away and wud take him about 20min to get to me. Little did he know that he was nearby as tracked.
4th time rebooked, promptly accepted and after a few minutes it was once again cancelled. I had given up hope about retrying as I thought that I been blacklisted by your company.
My mate who was with me, patiently tried for the 5th time from his phone. Once again, promptly accepted and cancelled after a few minutes.
My two mates and I were very late for our dinner appointment. It was a total disgrace and disappointment which was an embarrassment for everyone.
You are in the transport business to take passengers safely from points A to B at a reasonable fare, but yet I cannot understand the attitude of your Drivers.
You have lost me and my many friends as customers of Go-Jek until assurances are given to customers that YOU and the drivers would honor your pickup once when accepted.

Needs tweaking
Drivers can pick up your job even though they are not necessarily close, ready or have enough money to fulfill your service. I have had several riders accept my job & the app says they are 2 mins away & shows you how close they are yet the rider can stop & eat breakfast etc before picking you up. They can also accept your job but not have enough money to pick it up your order for you.

Amazing if prices were accurate
I use go jek every day and almost daily, the prices I am charged are not the ones for the items I ordered. Most recently the app said my food was 124,000 and then the bill on arrival 165,500 - love GO-JEK but that’s just a bit annoying when you only have exact change and need to leave your home to go out to get money when the whole point of ordering in, is to not have to leave home. Otherwise an amazing app and very useful for go-send or go-box etc.

Freaking lame GPS
The app GPS accuracy is freaking frustrating, i cannot pinpoint my driver’s location, only a very vague estimation, and it won’t move (the driver position) until it finally reach the passenger. Most of the time, when the drivers are unable to reply or pick up the phone when they are driving (rightly so), i don’t know whether they are actually 5km away while the app constantly show that they are merely 200m away, or they are actually less than 100 meters away while the app shows that they are 5 km away. Fixed it please!

Crashing
I updated my app yesterday just after using it's app (go ride) with no problem. But just after that I can no longer open the app, it keeps crashing all the time whenever I try to get into it. So I just leave it like that and then I decided to restart my iPhone just to make sure that it wasn't the app, but it still the same. So that I deleted the app and then download it again but I just can't get into it. It keeps crashing every single time, why? Please help, thanks
