Mobile $trike - what a waste of ca$h

Don’t play, to even be able to keep up you need to spend $1000 dollars a week, you can be destroyed, with thousands of dollars down the drain, in less than a minute. Poor graphic software, glitchy at the best of times, repeatedly crashes at worst. F grade support, zero help at best, they (software company) are only interested in your money, they will do nothing to help with genuine problems with the game, they should be ashamed, instead, they simply disregard any feedback. I only gave it one start because I couldn’t click on zero.

I see things are the same

I played years ago around 2015 for a few years, $16,000- $20,000 later I gave up probably 3yrs later due to the never ending money pit it turned out to be. You can never actually keep your account in a competitive state without paying at least $300-$400 per week. Not suitable for children, rife with Adult content and trolls. Probably fun for those with unlimited funds. It really should have restrictions, might as well go play pokies 🙂

I've been playing since December 2015 and it's not a bad game at all but the real world USD REQUIRED to play it is just ridiculous. You must spend at least $1000 to be "un solo able" and hundreds and hundreds more per month to keep your stats up to date. Every month there's a new game changer out that if you don't get will make you inert. Gameplay is great when you have spent your financial years pay just to keep up with the rest. But money is just stupid.

Let me give a review of my experience, now my base is level 70. For arriving at this level you need to spend $1000 or more. But that is not the problem. We are rich!

The game has a developer problem. On the research has no lv11 economic tree, and we don't know which research we should do, but Absolutely everything has a cost on this game. I sent a report message telling about the problem but they answered that can not get fix it.

In other words, my base is stopped and blocked. And each week they release new stuff that needs money. I can't get play and do you think that your money will back?

Used to be amazing

Edit: Ok so in my last review I said that this game was still great and that you don't really need to spend money. I can easily say that that is not my view on this game anymore. I loved the earlier version of the game a couple years ago, things were a grind yes, but at least things weren't insanely powerful and costly like today. Basically everything new now can only be unlocked by buying a pack with real money, and the problem is they release things weekly, if not at times sooner. And those packs are normally rather expensive, with packs ranging up to $160 in my country. To be a top player or even challenge the powerful players you need to invest a lot of money into the game which is disappointing that the game has taken this path. I loved the game mechanics and gameplay and I loved what it used to be, but now they've ruined it by making it a pay to play game. Best of luck to all the players and the company with making the right choices in the future.

Put aside for the moment the real cost of financing, er playing, this game. It gets even worse. Massive rule changes overnight. Bugs galore (eg commanders with negative experience in the millions as a result of a game change overnight), chat stops working, troops disappear, game crashes, laggy as hell, search fails most of the time when it once used to work, the list goes on). And watch out for the misleading and deceptive in game ads to acquire various widgets... the link usually takes you to a purchase which does not include the advertised widget or widgets. Just beware. I started playing this game and it was fun, but the higher your base got the more they developed different goals and outcomes to make you spend money to keep up with the game. If you have thousands to spend then this is the game for you. Upgrades go from minutes to days and that is fine as most games have days even a week to upgrade at high end levels. This game 100trillion days (no exaggeration).

So unless you spend money you won’t be able to just let it hang in the background.

Absolutely ridiculous and who ever is the lead in the development of the game is clearly not smart when it comes to creation or they would have thought up better strategies than throwing stupid amounts of time for upgrades.

Biggest Scam in AppStore

Don't waste your time or money. If you aren't prepared to spend, literally, thousands of dollars, don't bother. You won't be competitive and you will basically be playing FarmVille to get minuscule amounts of what you need for growth. Bigger players will bully you by attacking and destroying your base regularly. Even a middle of the road spender is a non factor. If you aren't going to spend AT LEAST $1000 PER WEEK don't get this game.

The things you buy with money are obsolete in 4-8 weeks. They fluff the purchase packs with obsolete items to make it look like a huge deal. They release new things every week. Sometimes $100 will get it for you sometimes it's up to 7 $100 purchases and everything you got is trash in a matter of weeks because they release something newer and better.

Most players are bullied out of the game in the first month. 3 to 4 months in it's nothing but big and medium spenders with no targets to hit because the little guys all quit and the medium guys all stay shielded from all of the big players who all split off into alliances for big spenders only.

Customer service is terrible. Complaints fall on deaf ears. You get generic computer generated broad topic responses. The response has a link to continue to push your issue but you only get another generic computer generated response. EW games and the Mobile Strike team have made a game that will soak up your money and become stale in about 3 months time and won't give you the time of day if you voice your concerns or bring your issue to them to be resolved.

Do not get it it will become addictive and cost 1000's to keep up. This game appears to be a free game but in order to play and progressively grow you have to spend big $.... the game goals change so frequently it's impossible to keep up unless you spend 10's of thousands of dollars to get the latest packs. If you don't keep up you become canon fodder for everyone else and now can be zeroed, even if you have a top tier base, in one hit thereby losing all you put into it. Take up gambling you'll have more fun and might win something

Definitely the worst pay to win game out there. The first 3 months were fine you still got beaten up constantly by big spenders but it was bearable.

But after that they created so many things you had to spend money on to get that it just became completely unbearable all the non spenders leave the game or barely show up the spenders rule the states and just destroy everyone who can't spend.

The game play for most is based on alliances but with players leaving all the time you end up with no one to talk too and no support.

Joining a top 10 alliance means big bucks every time you hit you pay to recover there is no winning in this game always someone spends more than you so it just becomes pointless.

Take your money and go to a casino you might end up a winner not a time poor player of MS wondering why you continue to throw 100's of dollars just to have some fun.

The developers of this game are scammers they prey on people's insecurities and make them pay to stay current it's an impossibility. I've seen guys spend $3k in a weekend only to have an advantage for 3 days till the next big thing gets released.

Do not let your kids play this game it's soul destroying.

The greediest developers the ap store ever saw

The game chases after your last cent .. the ap glitches and crashes, the in ap purchases are relentless and decay in value once you purchase within hours. Constant releases try to force you to spend to keep playing. A maxed account lasts at best 8 hours. Events are a shambles - they are scheduled for a time convenient to west coast US and often rescheduled or don't start when they're supposed to. The servers are a joke and customer service is to be laughed at. If you enjoy being treated like garbage and like to spend thousands of dollars, this game is for you. Otherwise, move along.. nothing to see here

The creators seemed to have made it so without the packs you just can't buy the items you need to move up.. up to level 21 you can use gold in the game to get the extra files and hammers after level 21 they are only in packs.

By not putting money in I was able to get as far as level 21 and now I am stuck, can not research or build anything without buying packs...

I then decided to by an $80 pack to get me through, this did not even get me through all of level 22 and I'm stalled once again..

Enjoy the game but know if you live in Australia you will heed a lot more dollars than someone in the US.

Misleading

This game is great if you have heaps of money to spend & loads of free time to kill. Free to play, pay up (big time) to win.

The advertising on this page is irrelevant to the game mostly: Yes there are global alliances. But the nonstop action is garbage. You spend the entire time researching and spending money to keep up with the power addiction. Then they add new crucial components you have to buy all the time. Sneakily making free research time bonuses that use up all your resources so you have to buy new packs. It's just a fantastic money making machine for the developers, hats off to them for that.

Game play is really pretty lame and the bang for your buck is not there at all. There is no real battle to watch. Just a tank that rolls up to a base and fires on it. A crappy little animation for hours of research and real money thrown into the game. Same goes for the resource mining, a crappy little truck.

Then when you finally feel strong enough to battle, someone way stronger will swoop in and attack you while you're attacking someone else and undo everything you've built up.

This is a real criticism from someone who has spent $1000 on this game and who has seen a lot of the BS that goes on.

You're reading a real review. It will probably get removed.

For what we pay to play and be strong in this game, the gameplay and graphics should be WAY better.

Think very seriously before playing this very expensive and addictive game.

Horrible

This is one of the most expensive free downloads of all time to stand a chance in the game you need to spend atleast $1000 a week to even stand a chance if you get attacked and zeroed you lose the $1000 dollars with just another players few button presses then you are back to square one this game is a complete waste of time the only reason I down loaded this game is the ad in witch the ad makes the game look good but it does not even come close I am one of the idiots that has spent tens of thousands on this game and after you spend a ton of money they bring something new out forcing you behind in the game thus forcing you to spend again I strongly suggest that you do not download this game I have been playing for nearly 2 years now and just today they brought out new attack gear rendering my base completely useless unless I spent mega dollars again to even come close and if you ask any questions to the "support" team you only get and automatic response they do not care for how you enjoy the game they only care for your spending the only time I ever got a real response was right after I spent big money!! Fun and Frustration

The game provides a good level of fun once you get your head around the strategies needed to grow your base and force. You really need to be in a team to get the most out of the game and here you find that the chat and banter with your comrades provides you with a good level of enjoyment.

The frustration comes with the growing stage where you are continually attacked. You soon learn what you need to do!

The game isn't perfect, but it is absorbing and worth the effort.

Yes, you need to spend some cash, but I've only spent about $80 so far in a year! You pay for anything where you have fun so it's not bad. Just don't expect to play with the big boys!

Greedy

Well while this game is awesome to play don't get me wrong about that! Bbbbuuuuuutttttt unless you are willing to spend half/most your pay check every week or have hundreds you can literally just throw into this game it's not worth downloading.

While the graphics and game play is awesome mobile strike are greedy. I have spent $50 Aussie money and now I only get the option to spend $160... even after messaged the team to offer smaller packages all I got in return was that the person who replied to it doesn't deal with the packages made. Also the people who do spend money just take over the game and constantly run down the little people playing for fun who don't spend..

This game takes up a lot of your time and while I bet that is the way they want it, it should not take your hard working money with it....

Don't even get me started on the false advertisement on tv because what you see on the ads is simply not what you see in the game...

Massive let down!!!

Played since game came out

Spent thousands on this game and cannot grow without spending $160+, if you spend enough developers will turn blind eye to "botting" the ppl who created this game (not the company who owns rights), game of war did a better job mobile strike is a knock off (names and design of buildings changed) these guys have 1 game and you need to spend $160+ weekly yes WEEKLY that's how often they bringing out new stuff(new if you never played game of war) the developers are kind enough to send u a notification about new purchases every hour but nothing if a rally set on you, because they want you to lose what you PAID TO BUILD SO YOU HAVE TO SPEND AGAIN, I know it's a business but been a gamer since internet came out and never seen a company so greedy but makes sense when you realise they bought rights not develop game. Can't wait to see what game they buy next and ruin!!

Nothing but money grabbing.

DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS GAME. I've played it for a while now (and gotten no where with it).

Everything about this game is a ploy to make you spend money. Literally everything. Every time you open the game it slams you with "sales", which this game doesn't actually have: they are always the same expensive price, the MINIMUM is (AU)$7.99, if you make the mistake of spending money it tries to force you to spend MORE, they're hardly worth it until you get to the $100+ "sales", and you NEED to spend money to get anywhere in the game. Each new update brings a new thing that you HAVE to spend money for, I mean there is NO other way to get it.

The game itself is no where near as good as it makes itself out to be. It's NOT as graphically appealing, and it's NOT as interactive as it's shown to be in ads. In fact, it's not these things in the slightest.

They don't listen to the concerns or suggestions of the actual players AT ALL. (Probably unless it'll get them more money.)

If you get into an alliance, and become an active and important member, you start feeling obligated to play (and pay) for the sake of your new friends. You'll get sucked into the cult-game and you'll feel bad for leaving.

This game is RIDICULOUS. If I could give it ZERO stars I WOULD. Mobile Strike is nothing more than Money Grabbing: A Game. DO NOT PLAY IT.

Nice gameplay and quite addicting at first. My biggest problem though is with what you guys at Epic Wars do. Firstly the graphics and animations just are terrible. The game looks very ugly and don't get me started on the attack tanks that just float and go straight through everything in their path. Secondly, the game looks nothing like what the ads show. Before playing this game, the cool ads with the individual soldiers moving and having AI grabbed me in. In the real game. The troops are just pictures and don't actually do anything in battles (which last a few seconds). It's also obvious you guys are in it for the money, sales and promotions covering up the whole screen. I think you guys should stop investing in what I'd guess have been thousands of dollars in the advertisements and actually make the game better. For now, a fair but lousy 2 stars.

its got some great features

but its also got a few bad points , first of all the states are run by bullys so unless you got money to burn you will get bullied , lots of swearing with no moderators so young peeps and parents be warned its not a PG game , the lack of battle reports is a big problem , if your bashed hard enough you just get you were defeated no numbers or casualtie reports , the figures and stats given are grossly exagerated in the spending area yet they dont add up in the game play 184% production in actual game play is more like 92 % and this is true for all statistcal areas in the game your build times ive seen as long as 2800 days , yes those are real 24 hr days and there are dozens of upgrades if not hundreds to be done to be competative so get ready to spend to speed up those build times ,its not a terrible game its just needs a lot of balancing tweeks , and yes its addictive because i generates the same chemistry in your brain as gambling dose so gamblers stay away or youll get grabbed 😉👍🏻

Do you really want to get this game???!!! Being an owner of other games, you have probably already seen this game a million times in the ads, and have probably played the mini tutorial. This is my point, I didn't even have to open the game, and I hated it! Do you really want to see it a million more times, without even playing it? All these people giving this game 1 star because of the ads, money, or it being "boring".. If you haven't even played the game you have no right to give it 1 star. You don't need to sit through the ads if you don't want to.. The game is absolutely incredible. The game is completely free to play with the CHOICE of spending money. Mobile Strike? More like Money Strike

Whenever I open a game or open a new page in any game, the stupid ad appears. Yeah some are cool and funny but I've seen enough. Besides I don't want to play it! Whenever one of your stupid ads appear on my screen, I want to hack this game out of the App Store! (Although I can't) it's annoying. You are over-advertising this poor excuse for a game. When I saw the ads, I actually downloaded it. I saw the 3D graphics on the pictures that they display, but when I played it, it wasn't even a 3D game! Idk if it was just me. Also like this company's other games, this game is a money grabber and cash cow to the company, robbing you of your money if you get too addicted. Oh and don't give a poor as excuse such as "it's just business" well this is a game! Games are supposed to be fun. This here is not fun, both in how it affects other games and the game itself. And I love Arnold. Great movie action hero in many classic action films, and you just ruined him. He is overused in the game to the point where it's not a fun cameo!

Over Priced and time consuming

This is the first multi player game I downloaded and have been very disappointed by what it is. 1. The screen shots have no relevance to what you see in game, it is a static sandpit where different tiles can be harvested. The battles consist of a singe tank firing at the target base. You are notified by post on your success.

2. Alliances are the key to this game. When you start you can choose an alliance. In each State there are a small handful of alliances that rule. They set the rules for attacks, such as when (free for all), and the most powerful will rule with an iron glove. Many times an alliance is reduced to ashes by 1 or 2 from a powerful alliance.

3. The cost for in app purchases are extreme. However, the rich alliances (and players) can support themselves with credit card purchases ($160 for current Sales) further dampening smaller alliances. The initial skills and research can be achieved relatively quickly, but the timers quickly progress to many hours (greater than 10) and before long they are measured in multiple days.

4. The only positive depends on your alliance. Unfortunately most (if not all) are in Europe, North America and so our communication is set to early morning and evening. (Free for Alls start late their time, so I benefit from them occurring Saturday morning).

Player beware and warned.

Not that good.

Despite the massive advertising campaign that is underway for this game, it's actually not that good.

The Good

- The depth of the research and building is pretty good. It can be a challenge deciding which research path to go down.

The Bad

- The pictures above do not represent game play. Battles are fought by the image of a single tank taking about 5 shots at a base and then returning, not mass armies as shown above.

- The research times just get crazy, even at fairly low power.

- The game regularly crashes. I'm not sure if this is not a purposeful tactic by the developers because every time the game re-starts you get a full screen advert pushing you to buy (very expensive) IAP's

The Ugly

- But the biggest gripe, is just the massive unevenness of the game play. Every state is controlled by 3-4 uber powerful players. Instead of fighting themselves and having a bit of fun, they form partnerships and work together. Now make no mistake, these players are stupidly powerful. One of these players can take out an entire alliance of 100 players (and I mean 100 fairly powerful players). They hit alliances on mass, and the game actually rewards them for killing players that can be thousands of times less powerful than them.

If you are a new player looking to download this now, you will NEVER get a foothold in the game unless you spent tens of thousands of dollars on IAP.

Don't waste your time

I have been playing this game since it came out. Don't waste your time or your hard earned dollars. Like other reviewers I agree that these guys are just about grabbing your money. How is it fair when higher level players (who by the way would spent a lot of money to get there so quickly) can bully new comers on a daily basis thereby making it impossible for them to get ahead (without spending a lot of money). Other games I play have a bit fairer system where players on same levels battle it out requiring some skill more than cold hard cash. If you have lots of money and get satisfaction destroying newbies without needing any skill then this is the game for you. All the negative comments you read are true like cancelling events after people have spent heir money. I would like to see this game disappear as quickly as started.

Never ending spending game

The game itself is truly addictive yet not truly that fun because you always need to worry about the base you built, a few minutes without checking then it could be zeroed( troops and traps destroyed,commander captured).Besides, it is very unstable as it would clash about 20 times a day which causes many tragedies in game, it causes over heating for your phone and generates large data usage as well.

But the worst part is the money you would be constantly tempted to spend in the game. At the beginning you would be offered a 8 aud pack to fast progress your base, if you buy it( no harm at this stage), next time the only deal you can see would be a 30 aud one , if you buy it , then the next deal would be a 80 or 160 aud one , buy either one once then the only available deal would be 160 aud per pack in the rest of your gameplay, you constantly buy them, then you can maintain your competency in the game, if you stop spending , then you would be left behind by your enemies and team members, which may let you get kicked one day by the leaders of your alliance or get zeroed by your enemies whom may not dare to do so a month ago; if you don't spend at all, innocently think this is a free game which can let you have fun, you will soon find that the only role you can play in this game is being farmed by the spenders and there is no fun at all for that.

For people who spend in this game, they need to keep spending to maintain what they have; for people who don't spend, constant bullies are not fun at all.

Don't download this game at all would be the best way to play it.

great game - just need to know how to play

this game is great and there are two ways to play. theres those that spend alot and thats fine but you dont have to be one of those, and then there are those that spend a little to none and thats still really good too, the system relies on those that dont spend anything or only spend a little. as long as you join an alliance and all work together you can complete daily challenges and get enough to move up at a nice pace together and the system gives you random bonuses as you go to help speed things along. still its fun and social and you just need to be active for about over an entire day to just keep checking in and building things up and without spending a cent im at level 9 in two days but thats be being very active. so please dont take notice of the reveiws about its cost an arm and a leg, go online, read up on how to make headway in the game and you'll really enjoy it. for the in app purchases, they offer them in sales that give you alot to use and help you move up quickly, maybe going for a $7.99 one can help to get you in the flow of things but you dont need to go for the $30 and $159 ones, its really not nessecary
