Why can’t this app detect AirPods?
I would give this a higher rating but for the annoying set up process where the app cannot detect functioning and connected AirPods! And when the detection over bluetooth fails there is no way to bypass that step, leading to a dead end before any tests can be made! Ridiculous!

Very useful
My family keep telling me I’m losing my hearing, so I was keen to do a test before seeing an audiologist. This was easy to do, and the results were interesting.

Hearing Test
This was my first time using this app. It was very easy to use and understand. I have felt that my hearing was diminishing but this app showed me it wasn’t quite as bad as I had thought. Very impressed.

Great tool
This is really useful!
Just has a few usability issues. During setup I wanted to swap from AirPods Pro 2nd Gen (not calibrated) to Ear Pods (calibrated) but the app wouldn’t let me and it forced me to quit and restart the setup from scratch. Also, the Practice was confusing. There was no countdown to start or read the instructions and when I held down it said Too Short. The actual audiogram process worked great, only the setup and practice was hard. Integration with Apple Health worked perfectly (but it would have been nice to be prompted automatically).

Completely bogus report
So I decided to monitor my hearing with this app and then it can put data on my health app so done the setup and practice etc put my two wired earphones in both ears and hit the practice test followed by the main test starting with the right ear first, not bad I’m thinking and then completed the right side and then moved onto the left and didn’t notice anything different in perception of sound (left or right ear I was hearing it from but we were doing left so figured would have to be coming from the left side)
Anyhow that text completed and results were being weighed up and imagine my surprise when it gave me the results of
(Excellent Hearing)
Perfect scores all round!!
However,
And here is the kicker
My hearing is terrible, infact that badly impaired I have been using prescription hearing aids for the past two years that cost me 7nhalf thousand dollars in which I’m still paying off and finally wearing them I was blown away by how impaired my hearing really was and all the sounds I was missing throughout my days and before this I was always struggling with any conversation and would tend to lip read and picked that up along the way not even realising I had been doing it until the later couple years of struggling before I got the hearing aids and I remember not even bothering to make an effort in having any kind of conversations with others as I would constantly have to ask that person or persons to repeat themselves and any other sounds in the background and I was screwed anyways and then the masks made it impossible for me and then I had everything turn around for me after I went to bay audio who gave me a test and then spoke to audiologist who told me I definitely needed hearing aids and was likely industrial deafness that had been progressing more and more over the years and when I put them on I was all full of anxiety and feeling like people were right next to me talking and actually I thought my bubble of silence was normal I mean I could hear noises but just not able to make out a conversation within the noises until my attention was drawn right in on the person as mentioned earlier, walking out of there and out and about I could even hear the small rocks in the gravel crunching away under my feet as I walked over them and so I completely do not agree with this app to be giving any kind of results in that regard and especially results that are then recorded into the my health app!!
This is my opinion though and hope you have a better go at it then the one I have had and so I shall be deleting now

This was a strange way to test hearing. I found the sounds predictable and too close together, so by the time the sound deminishes you have to immediately press the button again.
I have auditory sensitivity and according to this test, my partner has better hearing than me even though he can’t hear me call out to him two rooms away. Something just isn’t right with this.

Believe this to be a reliable way to test your hearing. Why is there a random annoying looped tone throughout the duration of the hearing test? It distracts you from the tones you’re meant to be hearing. Hearing tests should be done in silence. I’ve had my ears tested time and time again and I have normal hearing, but according to this test my hearing drops down to 40dB?? (For those who do not know anything 20dB and below is considered normal hearing.)

Really great App for hearing!
This is a brilliant app that gives outstanding insight into your hearing health, it has helped me as I suspected some loss of hearing, only slight, but the app has confirmed my doubts, but at least I am now able to do something about it, knowing confidently that it’s not just me, there is proof that I can show to the doctor now too.

I was curious to know if my hearing had deteriorated having just turned 65. My test results were good however I will now start to wear ear protection as a priority when ever using loud machinery.

Hearing test application-
Quite impressive and impressed with my results. I would definitely recommend this app to those who believe that their hearing isn’t as strong as it should be. Preferably if it’s just mild. If it is severe I strongly suggest seeing a specialist as they would provide you with the most accurate information. This app is more for those who struggle with certain aspects of it. I personally tried it out just out of curiosity and was proud to see that I have perfect hearing.

This is one of the worst hearing apps I've ever downloaded. I used headphones and for some reason it kept saying that they might be on the wrong way. (They weren't) I even switched them around and it STILL wouldn't work! I did This about 10-15 times and it just wouldn't work I pressed what I thought was wrong and it wouldn't work! I don't recommend this app to anyone! It was so useless! 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼

This app is amazing, this app will forever be my go to hearing test app. I am a musician (I play the bass guitar) and if you ask any musician they will tell you that their ears are their most important instrument. I rate this app musician approved and helpful to all.

I completed the quick test, get to the last question and it tells me I've chosen a wrong button. The test started by itself from the start again. I did this 4 times and each time the very last question gave me the same response. Please test your app before launching!
