QParents is a secure app that provides parents of Queensland State School students with a new and exciting avenue of communication with their school. Join the thousands of parents who have already registered to gain 24-hour direct access to your student’s information and communicate with the school easily and efficiently.

With the QParents portal, you have access to everything you need to know via a single, clear student dashboard, including:
• Student timetable, assessment and exam dates
• School attendance and behaviour records
• School attendance and behaviour records
• Upcoming school excursions and events
• Invoices and payments
• School report cards and enrolment history
• Student school photo
Use QParents to manage all your children’s school needs from one convenient location by adding all school students in your family to one QParents account. You can also request updates or changes to student details using QParents, such as:
• providing reasons for past unexplained absences
• advising the school of future absences
• notifying the school of changes to student address, date of birth, and medical conditions
• viewing, selecting and paying outstanding invoices
Please note that parents can only view student information using the QParents app if their student attends a school that has joined the QParents program. Parents will be invited to register for QParents by school administration once the program has been rolled out at the school.

Keeps telling me my email is invalid and not valid

App no longer works
App has worked great for 12 months, now suddenly it won’t open and when it does I just get a grey screen with a box on it. Have uninstalled and reinstated but nothing. Was a very helpful app but no longer.

Why don’t you fix the app so it works on mobile phones again. Sick of apps that never work. Can’t even log in on a computer either.

Confounded by over engineered software
Adding a new student is not only futile, for most likely a myriad of possible confounding redundant templates in the system, it’s typical of how technology hinders all things “shook” and university as this is my area where I find the same issues as I do trying to add my child to the “service” it’s tyranny of the template at it’s most frustrating!

Payment issues
Tried to pay for my child’s excursion on here. Got as far as putting in my payment details, the payment summary page loads as a blank page and then unable to go any further as no where to click to continue or summarise payment. Waste of time.

Error for no reason
Logged in and it told me to add student when I had already added my child’s details last year. Then enter details again and keeps saying student not found. Not happy at all and needs to be fixed ASAP if the school recommends to use this app!!!!!!

Can not find QParent app in iTunes Australia store?
My QParents app requesting me to update the app so I can log in, because my version is out of date, but now this app can’t be found in iTunes Australia store? How am I suppose to update the app if the app is not existing ??
Anyone encountered the same problem?

Starters info
You have to have an email from your registered school with a unique invitation code to be able to sign up online before you can log in to the app. You also need identification and your students personal education id numbers. It’s a process , but I’m hoping it will be worth it... will update once I’ve gone through the rigmarole of it all!

How about a version that supports resolution for newer phones and plus phones, font size is huge on a plus sized iPhone

App crashes after entering password, absolutely useless but can’t really expect anymore from a government program.

Used to work.
Having issues loging in. When I put in my login details in it keeps saying “invalid credentials. Make sure your email and password are correct”. I have even deleted the app off my phone and reinstalled it. Very disappointed that its doing this now. Can someone please fix it!
It worked well for me previously this issue just happened out of the blue.

Crashes Constantly
Seems to crash while trying to retrieve student info after logging in. Can't get any further than a glimpse of the home screen before crashing. This is happening on current software iOS 10.3.2.

What a joke
Spent over 30 minutes going through 100 points of ID, looking for student ID, countless text message with codes every step, only to have it constantly CRASH as soon as it opens. Waste of time

This app crashes every time you log in - it used to work very well with no problems. Such a great app but can't access it anymore. Have deleted several times & downloaded again but still no joy. Wish someone would fix the problem...

Need to login every time crashes
Not very user friendly. I will not be using it. Crashes when trying to view academic reports. Worst though is having to login with full email address and password (surely a pin will do like banking apps?). Passwords also need special characters which means more typing and easier to forget.

Love it!
I love this app as much as the QParents website. It allows me to access pretty much everything about my child, as well as contact the school, in a completely secure way.
The features I use most are: alerting the school of absences and checking attendance, checking the timetable, looking at school records/reports/behavioural issues. I also just realised that I'm able to update our details as well as my sons medical information.
The entire idea is great. The information is readily available and the app is easy to use. It saves a great deal of time calling/attending the school, both for parents and school staff.
I hope the QLD education department rolls this program out over the rest of the schools quickly; I would very much like to be able to use this for all my children.
