Address/council not accepted

I’d love to use this app but it will not accept my address no matter which format I enter it. It even appears in the drop down and yet when I pick it I get an error with address/council not found. Please help.

2 stars as I can see the potential but can’t use it all without it allowing me to enter my address for local council details. Ugh, frustrating.

Knowledge empowers 😁

I wanted to do the right thing, help the environment, teach my students by getting the school involved in projects..... just didn’t know how until I installed this awesome app. My go to for any recycle question. With the tight knowledge all you need is done effort..... you can do it !

It’s a good start

It’s a good start. Just going through the app now and I wanted to point out that ALDI supermarkets have a used household batteries recycling program. If you could put that info in the app that’d be great :)

Idea is good but hard questions remain unanswered

Great idea behind this handy catalog on waste disposal options. However I find searching a little bit tricky still.

Easy to use, great idea!!

I have had gas cylinders at my house for 9montgs not knowing what to do with them, until now. Easy next day booking! Also has loads of other options for me to recycle other products that would otherwise go into my general waste.

Great app

Useful app, but the paper and cardboard section is not easy to understand, colours of signs should match bin colours. Why is everything yellow and not mostly blue?!

Awesome but some mistakes

Great app - good design, super helpful, I check it frequently!

Unfortunately during my most recent use of the app I’ve found a number of things classified wrongly - eg. it says Pyrex dishes can be recycled (they can’t?), x-rays can go in the yellow recycling bin (I don’t think they can?), and aluminium foil has to be put in general waste (it’s recyclable when scrunched into a tennis ball size!).

I used the ‘report’ button on top right hand side of the screen on each item page (this function could be made a little more obvious), so hopefully the team will fix these errors.

Also has a few pics that are wrong (eg. For packaging pellets- instead of foam pellets it has animal feed pellets). No big deal but surely an easy fix.

Explanation of recycle or not for everyday items makes it easy to decide which bin to put rubbish in.

Great but has errors

This app is great however there are some incorrect sections. It says that plastic containers should be put in a general waste bin. And then when clicked on it says they should be cleaned before recycling. Very confusing.

I love this app! It reminds me when my when my collection days are! And I'm learning to recycle everything!

Changed my life!

This app changed my life! I've learnt so much about recycling from this app. It's very colourful and the design is intuitive as well. I've put the advice found in this app to good use and I hope it's making the environment a better place for our children and our children's children. Check out this app guys. Love the updated look, there's so much more colours and so much more content now. Really good job. Looking forward to the next version. It'll be great if there is a watch app to remind me about the recycling schedule. =)
