Was good. Now pointless
App helps criminals by distracting victims with waiting for app to show cctv. App takes so long to open with agreements and adds, if hear a noise criminals can break in before capable of opening app to check for risk or even the post man.

Getting worse
Latest update now makes it more difficult! The added option of direction for PTZ cameras has now reversed the direction and when you flick the switch It does not remember it so every time you open the app it resets and the app still shuts down randomly.

Cannot login
The server is erroneous and very unstable. Always unable to login. I am sure my password is correct but login is always failing 90% of the time. Updated to the latest version but in vain. Please fix the bug and/or fix the server.

App Stopped working
The app developer is trying to fix the problem which is good. They have been responsive however the app still doesnât work properly. The app use to work using cellular data but now it says the cameras are live and working, but there are no images.

I have updated this app twice since Iâve had it and it has been nothing but trouble since the updates. The app seems like it was working fine the first time I downloaded it and now it doesnât like doing what I ask it. I have version V.3.1.5(1.4)

Okay but privacy issues
The app is asking me to accept a privacy policy that does not exist. It takes you to a blank page with a logo at the bottom saying âI got itâ waiting for you to click. If you try to see the privacy policy from the App Store, it doesnât exist either

Quite possibly the worst app ever. By the time the app opens up, youâve missed whatever is going on outside anyway! We canât even view our cameras away from home anymore after the last update. If I could give a 0 I would.

VPN to work on mobile network
1. I am NOT associated with xmeye in ANY way.
2. go to ... âMyâ, âSettingsâ, âAdvancedâ, âAdvertisingâ, to turn off.
3. I now use a VPN to access the app, free or paid it works on mobile data now with no speed loss.

Useless app
RosscoGc above is doing well as I have tried several times to view on my iPad and never get a picture. The home screen which is directly connected to the recorder does show for the 7 cameras that work.
One has never worked and has been in for repair since the first month, which was 7 months ago. I donât know why I have to give a one star when it doesnât deserve it!

Connects successfully to camera about 20% of the time, have submitted over 10 support requests through app and never ever get replies. If your buying a camera that runs off this app seriously reconsider your purchase and if your buying a camera from Going Tech in China DO NOT BUY!

Company pushing updates to the NVR and causing lock ups. Not good enough. Turned off auto updates and itâs still pushing to the units and causing lockups. Please fix issue.

Airplay Mirroring Issue
Great app, unfortunately when you use Airplay mirroring to have cameras appear on TV, if you turn your iPhone/iPad on its side the image appears correctly (full screen) on the iPhone/iPad, but is (incorrectly) appearing sideways on the TV. It would be great if this could be corrected.

Downloaded the latest update can log in but has an error that says â. Password errorâ. Connection failed. Prior to this app was working fine.
When are you going to fix the app so I can see cameras.

Latest version is disaster
The beauty of app always was to scroll between channels and it always was. New version is a total disaster and extremely inconvenient to use. Please revert back or make option to switch. While it seems it works ok with units and channels unusable channel selection is a huge downgrade

Could be better
The app was easy to setup the only thing is that there was no alarm sound not like vMeye Super when the alarms sounds a list of areas appears that can be checked. It could have been better and a problem with frequent drop out or disconnection.

Love the app but overall it has a few issues. It crashes frequently and can get annoying at times especially when I'm showing it off to friends and BANG, the app is gone. At least if this major problem gets fixed, it should be an overall great app.

Excellent app functionality
This new version has a lot of new features and is far more stable than the last. Very impressive update, keep up the good work. Sometimes takes a few attempts to connect but streams 8 cameras nicely once running. It would be good to see a snapshot to camera roll feature where you press one button to capture a full res image from each camera. Upload to the cloud too. Pinch and zoom on the camera image would also be nice. Overall great as is though.
