One Thing To Be Inproved
I have personally had a great experience with this game, but I just would like to question the lack of diversity in the game. All the people are (not to be offensive or anything) white. Even the Astari only have one skin tone. I like how you have both men and women in all jobs but the game is just not that inclusive. Any way you could fix that?
Also, I just want to say that the Astari are very amusing in all ways. The way they run away. The way their voices sound (especially during festivals). And their little decorations are adorable. And the songs you hear when you collect are real. I’ve already picked up Beethoven, Drunken Sailor and a song I’m pretty sure was written by Henry VIII…it’s incredible!
EDIT: The Henry VIII song is Greensleeves, for those who were wondering.
Also, I have entered the game and it keeps coming up with “Oops! It looks like you’ve been disconnected.” I’ve tried every trick in the book and I’m on wifi. I want to look after my followers. Please fix this bug!

Great game… until it’s not
It’s great to a certain point, but eventually you’ll be asking yourself ‘what am I still playing this for?’. It has zero purpose, no resolution, areas unopened on the game zone… eventually you’ll have so much belief and build so much but literally nothing new happens ever again. I just got bored and never went back. The moral is play it for a good time, not a long time. It was great at first, so go in with low expectations and you’ll be fine.

Enjoyable, but slow
It’s a great game, don’t get me wrong. But I wish that maybe there were in-game achievements or goals as another method to collecting cards and gems or belief. I would also love more challenges in the upworld as I completed the available ones very quickly.

Ads and Money
The game itself is great—fun gameplay, good mechanics, and enjoyable content. However, the monetization is too aggressive. Having in-app purchases is understandable, but forcing players to either spend money or watch ads constantly just to have a smooth experience is excessive. On top of that, requiring a daily payment to remove ads instead of a one-time purchase feels like a greedy move. A more balanced approach to monetization would make this game much better.

Support is ignoring me!
First, syncing phone/ipad progress totally screwed up my progress. Second, ad-free purchase wouldn’t restore, new ad-free purchase won’t work, and support request has been ignored. Third, ad-free was $1.99 but after sending support request (to no avail) ad-free price went up to $4.99! I had an old version on my phone, when I opened it it asked did I want to continue with the old saved game, or play the new game started on iPad? I chose to play the new iPad game, but I got a mashup instead. I lost upworld completely. My voyages reset. My first mining settlement is now 31k belief, I have five farm settlements and the next one will now cost 23k belief. God only knows what else has changed!
UPDATE: still no response from support. Upworld is back, but opening the map and clicking to go to upworld causes the app to force close.

I love this game!! Some feedback :)
I remember playing this game yearsssss ago and loving it. It was always nostalgic to me and when I downloaded it not too long ago, it was just as good.
I love how this game was designed, from the Astari people, the whole concept of unlocking memories and abilities, and being able to design your own world. It’s not too challenging where it gets exhausting, it’s a really well paced game.
There are a few things I would change if I could, I wish there were some more detailed instructions on how to play the game. The first few days of playing I did not know I needed empty plots to create farms so I was so confused on how to get wheat, I just merged the houses and thought the wheat would come from it.
Second thing, maybe add more audio options, i really dislike the music when you collect belief because it stresses me out if I don’t collect it fast enough, and it ruins the song. If there was an option to turn off specific sounds that would be amazing, i love the material collecting sounds and the ambiance!!
I’d love to see more storyline or maps for the game and maybe a way to revive Astari civilisations after defeating them, it gets a bit boring after they are defeated. I hope this game keeps updating because it’s definitely a favourite!! Amazing job

I keep coming back
I think I’m on the 5 device I’ve downloaded Godus on to. I love the aesthetics and thematics of the game and the world is just gorgeous. There need to be more games like this. You can choose to be destructive or a nurturing god and as you play more you develop more powers and abilities. Every time I have had different cities and map layouts. One Easter egg is when collecting belief different tunes come out. I felt compelled to write this review cause many games ask for reviews but this game I’ve played more and returned back to over and over. I’ve started from scratch but it’s hard when you’re used to how many abilities you need to regain. But worth it every time

UPDATE: I’ve unlocked all worlds and currently developing Overworld. Just went over to Homeworld and can’t play unless I accept Personalised Adverts. So stuck! And I have around $8M belief in Weyworld. I wouldn’t mind paying for this game is it was a fair price. BUT not watching adverts for any reason. So, what do I do now? This may be the death knell for me on Godus.

Godus is one of my favourite games! So entertaining and very chill. Not only is it very connecting, it has really good deals! My best deal I have ever gotten was “the shaman’s way”. It helped me a lot throughout the game. 5 stars all the way❤️

This game is genuinely the greatest thing ever! And it’s absolutely beautiful to look at, I could spend so much time just going around looking at things, such a nice simplistic design
I actually already wrote a different review on another device saying that I wasn’t sure what should happen when you finish conquering your land, but the new update fixed this! And this is for free!! I love to check up on my land every now and then and keep everything happy and going. The journal aspect is really cool. Get this now! So addicting! And it’s for free! And there’s NO ADS that you have to sit through unless you choose to for a reward!

Good game, until it kinda becomes PTP
I’ve really enjoyed Godus so far, even put some of my real money into it. Sadly I’ve realised that it starts off with a bang, then ends up in stalemate; either you pay real money, or you come back later. Essentially it kinda becomes a pay to play.
Unfortunately, I’m not far in and I’m at a point where I have to wait. I currently have basically 3 different games/modes within my game, I go to one, do what I can, then to the next, do what I can, then to the third, do what I can, then I have to wait - or buy (with real world money) enough diamonds to speed up something, or hope I get the right stickers in a random pack to give me a skill to speed up progress, or something.
So it’s an idle game? Play an hour a day? Wrong. The core “currency” is belief. That regens every 30 or so mins. Does it accumulate if you don’t collect it until the next day? No. Does it auto collect? Only if you’re playing.
Don’t get me wrong, I don’t mind having to wait a couple of minutes. But this isn’t minutes. It’s half an hour, or an hour or two hours, or eighteen plus hours for resources that are crucial to progressing the game. Let alone getting the stickers to get a skill to be able to progress in the first place.
As much as I love this game, and sure, I’ll probably still play it, I’m really disappointed about the mish-mash of an idle/not idle system, where you have to collect crucial currency every 30 minutes, but you also get to a point where you literally can’t do anything else for hours or days unless you want to pay real money.

Game keeps crashing and loosing progress
I’ve plaid this game for many years on pc but Ive downloaded the app on two different phones and both times had issues. Everytime it would take me to a turtorial or to voyage at the shipwreck, on the way back to home village the screen stays white then crashes and when I try open the game again it takes me back to receiving the building Grass Abode cards. Also when I open the app the screen just goes white randomly and crashes so I have to redownload it. This have has happens over 5 times. I’d love to play this game but I can’t get anywhere without it having issues.

Wonderful game
Godus may be one of the best god games as you actually guide your own people to create and build a thriving society. Despite some of its flaws, this game is more godlike than other god games.
Now, I have some suggestions to make this game better, not that it has to been immediately or in the next update, I think it would be cool to add these in.
I think you should add:
-variants of different houses( not by its rankings )
-add more character to the followers like playing, running, sitting and enjoying the view or anything to make followers(mostly breeders) do more thing to add more character to them.
-bridges(useful to build to get followers to another space instead of making more layers to add more space)
-more animals; cows, horses, cats, dogs, etc; make it so that followers interact with them as well.
-merchant settlement; they can build something called Stalls to sell stuff to people and would give you various items like wheat, ore and creation items and the larger the plot, the more better or just more items to give. Make it so that they would travel around the lands in a carriage or anything to carry stuff. Again, probably add variants.
-Hunter/Cookers Settlement; Hunters will hunt for food like berries and boars or bears and more and you can collect them in their plot, which I don’t have a name for. Cookers can use the food collected from hunters plots to cook food for followers to be more happy. Their plots can be chefs plots and it would be like a small restaurant and followers may sit on benches and cooks serve them food. Add variants to the shop.
-Food: will keep your population happy and if not enough food is given, followers may lose a bit of faith and will either rely on food collected from hunters or starve.

Land sculpting is so frustratingly buggy
Land sculpting is so frustratingly buggy ESPECIALLY on voyages. It either doesn’t sculpt the multiple layers together smoothly (like when creating a wall) or it just doesn’t sculpt at all and then your followers get killed. This is so infuriating to the point that voyages are no longer a fun task in the game and it becomes a chore.

It's a nice game but has its flaws.
Having a homeless follower stuck in the gray area I should really be able to control it. But I keep getting notifications it’s stuck.
Do you know how annoying that is. Remarkably.
My three stars just became 1. Fix the flaws.
Don’t spend any money except to remove ads and watch ads for gems, otherwise your overpaying, Fix the flaws and ill revise my review Otherwise this game is good.
Decent mechanics. Just the bugs.. effort guys Think I wasted about 5000 belief just getting the guy out if the grey. Was like pulling teeth.
If you have any homeless followers on hills, make sure they have a path otherwise use your finger to squash them.

This game is honestly addictive! The only downside is, you don’t “win” gems much or coins at all. Ohhh God!
So, great game initially, especially for anyone on the spectrum, right up until you realise it’s a grind for a week, get the Ark, go to weyworld, then grind there.. Patience with this game is key, HOWEVER, if you don’t head back to the home world, doomed! It’s reminded me of Tamagotchis, fed them, loved them, cleaned up after them but leave them for just 2 days and your pet is gone, not happy, not cared for, can not cope without you. Just like home world where my followers were at the peak of their happy, until I left them for a few days… Can’t God just have responsible for themselves followers?!.. NOPE.
It’s a good game, but I don’t want to use all the belief growing trees, beautifying and having fountain parties just for my people to be happy. They should just believe in me, I’ve made their towns, they should just stay happy.
Continuing playing until I get the Dodo. Ironic that I’m now only grinding to bring back an extinct animal and wiping out my followers at the same time…

How is this game for free? It is Awesome because u can build your very own like empire or like city. You can also gain cards that unlock skills to improve your city. 100% worth downloading. A feature you should add is like modern times so when you get advanced they will start making buildings and have more powerful weapons and stuff. After all great game! 🫠

Absolutely stunning game!!! (With suggestions)
I only downloaded Godus a few days ago and I’m checking my people every ten minutes, I get a little rush of excitement every time an Astari joins me. So addicting!
I absolutely love reading the logs, or diary entries. I’m questioning everything. Can’t tell if it’s written by myself or a previous god, I’m so curious. But the only thing I’m worried about is if I continue playing for a very long time and unlock all the cards, will I not be able to do anything until the game comes out with new items? Or will I just be stuck?
I love this game with every atom in my body. But the only things which could cause me to delete this game is the fact that if you leave your phone or whatever you play with away for a long time and then come back, like 50 of your followers will join the Astari.
SUGGESTIONS:
- The game eventually evolves and you can turn it to a modern city (it continues to go forward in time)
- More stickers in one chest
- The ability to upgrade previous abodes. Cause once you get very large houses it looks strange to have the tiny huts nearby. And it isn’t nice to have to burn down the houses.
I 100% recommended this beautiful game.

The more I play the more I die inside
The game has a fabulous story, and I love the whole idea of the game. However, this game becomes a money grab when you progress. Boat journey levels become near impossible and followers leave because I can never afford to make them happy. I have gotten to the point that I need to watch hundreds of adds OR pay money just so my followers don’t leave me EVERY DAY. Despite the surplus of adds I watch, I still get bombarded with 30 second unskippable adds frequently. PLEASE make the game easier to progress through, I’m very close to deleting the app out of frustration. There is so much potential for this game but it is ruined with how frustrating it is to progress through the game.

Beautiful game.
Godus is so gorgeous to look at and play with. I love how the land reacts to my touch, letting me sculpt it into a work of art. The little people are adorable, too - I have found myself getting rather attached to them. Most of the way through the Homeworld land, I am now close to the rival village and I hope I can save its people as well as my own.
The game isn’t without its flaws. The controls can be (ironically) a bit difficult on a touch screen, at least in terms of accuracy, causing loss of energy by stretching land that was meant to shrink or vice-versa. The holy trees, which cost energy to plant, are not immune to being accidentally erased (they should be permanent and movable, like the monuments). By far the biggest irritation is that unless you make an in-app purchase, you may be shown an unsolicited ad if you go to the upgrades menu. Basically, if you intend to play Godus, be prepared to shell out a few bucks or the random ads will drive you mad… but I enjoy the gameplay so much that for me, the purchase was worth it.

I have played the game but it wasn’t good enough for me but maybe you can add a real sandbox mode where you can spawn animals dinosaurs and humans and the human will do what ever they will like build house and random stuff plagues zombies bombs like WorldBox would be nice and make trees and infinite land and you can let the players build there own island

Only problem is the other tribe is way to hard to compete with and as you play the game more and your followers are unhappy they stay unhappy and I can’t bring them back up, help! Anyone know what to do about that? Also I’m stuck on trying to get the beautify card. But overall this is amazing. 10/10 would totally download again!!

Wonderfully charming
I admit I’m rather addicted by the game, but I find myself spending equal time actually doing objectives, landscaping the world and simply following the small followers as they live.
This game has a wonderful scope, you can spend your time building homes, or go on voyages. Compete with a rival tribe, or dig for treasure.
My only issue is a lot of mechanics are unclear, and playing on a smaller iPhone makes it difficult to play at times. I would love to see a ‘help’ or tips section, to explain things like buffs of buildings and how to give homeless people a home.
That being said, I love this game! I’ve recommended it to all of my friends that seem interested, and am so excited for future updates.

Absolutely incredible
Game looked very different than why I’m used too but playing it I really wasn’t expecting such smooth controls and fun ways to breed, expand, and the use of cards and stickers to unlock new abilities?! Beautiful! Would 100% see myself playing this in the far future, keep up the updates I wanna see all the creative things I can do in the game 🤙🏼

Such a relaxing, cute game, until…
I love civilisation games, and this one is just adorable. Sounds are awesome, graphics are cute.
However, the cost to buy ‘belief’ (the currency for building/sculpting) is waaaaaay over priced. I don’t mind dropping a few bucks on cute games I love, but with the lowest tier being $8 for a measly amount of currency, it’s simply a no go.
Also, I’ve restarted this game twice, because I keep getting stuck worshippers. I know how to prevent this now, but the ability to remove housing would be a great addition early game.

Excellent Game Prone to Crashes
Game play is still lovely these years later. But this game is 6 years old, and I would assume the crashes when returning from the docks would be fixed by now. I’m replaying Godus, and every time I return from an adventure my game gets stuck on an infinite load screen and I have to close the game. When I reload, I’ve lost all my progress. Unhappy.

It’s a great game last time I played it was on my other iPad a few years back the reason why however is in the title is because well I thought maybe someone might of got the developers to introduce gestures or some other way to change the sculpting tool which is basically your finger other than that I would’ve given it five stars

So much potential
Like the game but the amount of land that needs to be revealed is way too much. When you move into weyworld there is this small patch you can only mine. I think this where I’m supposed to spend so I can build on top of buildings to increase the ability to get more mines because if I don’t do that I can’t get enough to build the next beacon. Oh, the first time in played this, I missed building the other temples because I went straight to building the ark. I had no idea I was meant to dig for more temples thank goodness someone has guides.

Best game ever! Developers please read section included, so developers please read!
I LOVE this game, it has a great story line, and its super cute. It’s structured but in a very subtle way, meaning you have a lot of free choice, and can do just about anything you want to. If you are on the fence about getting answer these questions in your mind:
-do you like simulation games?
-do you like destruction games?
-do you like ADORABLE songs and characters?
-do you like being worshiped?
-do you need a game to play over long periods of time or short?
-do you need Godus?
YES!

I have found a little problem my game doesn’t always save my recent progress when I stop playing, it’s not a huge problem but it’s a bit of a nuisance, can you please fix it.

Great game
Girlfriend talked me into downloading it as she used to play years ago and I was glad I listened I’ve been sitting on this game for hours it’s amazingly made good graphics beautiful smooth game play a cool story to keep you playing and jems aren’t a MUST in this game there just a bonus plus they give you a free gem for watching a 30 second ad with a 39 second break between watches it’s great....great work who ever made this game I love these types of games and honestly thought games of this quality id atleast be having to pay a few bucks for thus not ending up downloaded lol

Awesome game
Really sick game guys, i’ve played it in small bits over the years, and once again i’ve come back to it i 2020. Loved it every time. Although, one thing i would adore is a sandbox mode, by far my favorite part of the game is sculpting entire islands and mountain ranges for my little guys, so i’d really enjoy a mode where you start off with a blank ocean and can sculpt anything without the worry of belief, and then perhaps chuck in some followers when you have land.

Please make the ai smarter...
Just to say, I love godus. But there is one problem that is irritating sometimes, one time I had enough resources to build the ark. Then I leashed a bunch of followers far from the ark to there. But now I’m getting a lot of pop-ups saying that an follower is blocked... it’s very annoying but not only that, sometimes the follower has a clear path and says that it’s blocked... I’m annoyed from this and I’ll just like to say, please make the ai smarter.

Great job
This is an absolutely amazing game I’ve been looking for a game like this for a while and just happened to stumble across it and I’m lucky I did because this game ticks all the boxes. There is one thing I would like to suggest though a little bit through the game it gets very challenging to keep your people happy and you need gems to be able to do that and it becomes a bit pay to win. I would suggest that you add to the game a gem or belief award for unlocking a card. It doesn’t have to be a big reward just something that will keep it us going.

Love Godus, Hate the ads!
I’ve been enjoying ‘Godus’ for some time now, have built quite the little population and have collected a handful of stickers. My only problem is the ads... I cannot access my sticker section at all without getting an ad. No matter how many times I watch it, once the ad finishes and I move on through the game, I am met once again with another advert. I understand the game is Free but I’d much prefer a random add through the game rather than an ad (15-40seconds) long to pop up when I try to access parts of the game.

Beautiful game
This is a great game, and after a year I’ve come back too it. I’m about 2/3 day into my new world but starting to remember why I left in the first place. The path finding needs some serious improvement, especially when it come to the voyages. I understand that it adds to the challenge and I really do appreciate the game, and think that the creator(s) deserve to be rewarded (through the purchase of in game currency gems) but I also believe that no matter your financial situation you should have the right to access art weather it be in a gallery done by a performer on a stage or a mobile game.

The game looks so beautiful and creatively built that I was surprised when this game turned out to be free. The amount of work put into this game seems so insanely big.
I played this game years ago and I thought that the game was insanely buggy and that I was afraid that they stopped updating the game for a while. Now I redownloaded it and Im honestly glad I did because they are finally fixing everything bit by bit. Hopefully the game with stay open <3
For those complaining about ‘oh I want to play stop pricing everything tho’ of course they're gonna price everything because they need the money to continue working. They don't work for free; they have families and homes to take care of and games require years to complete. Plus its not necessary to use the gems, its just a plus.

Amazing, but misses a trick
Godus is original, beautiful, soothing and fun from the outset. The dialogue and gameplay is intriguing, the belief system logical and the initial progression rewarding. The Lemmings-like mini game is also amusing. I disagree with those saying this is a cash grab - I’ve not experienced that at all, minus the occasional ad which doesn’t deliver the promised ‘reward’.
Not surprising, then, that is won an award in 2014 - but therein lies the problem. The potential of Godus should be limitless, the world should be your oyster. In reality though, it’s more of a frozen prawn, slightly past it’s sell-by-date. It seems the dev team won an award and were then content to rest on their laurels as this game seems woefully short of updates.
I can think of a million possibilities yet to be explored - fishing, hunting, disasters, more settlements, etc etc but the devs seem content to leave Godus as is. This is the main issue with an otherwise brilliant game, especially as I seem to have reached the pinnacle of progression and I’m growing bored.
Build on a fantastic start, add some more features, and this game has bags more to offer.

Loving The Experience!!
Lol I like this app/game. Whether we choose to mention it or not, deep down inside we each have a dream (of some kind) - where we’re basically the creator of everything. What I like about this game is: while it is similar to some simulation apps/games, it’s quite different. The graphics are different and quite nice, the tasks are easy. And unlike other games, it’s not about growing an empire or neighbourhood - you are God, and you know that the people and the land need your help. I can’t really explain what I’m trying to say... all I know is, I’ve lost a of hours of time and have only just realised I’ve been playing on and off for about 12 hours. I haven’t gotten very far, as I’m taking it slow - I’ve just seen the first Astari festival (not sure if that’s the right name lol) and have sailed by ship, a couple of times. So far, so good!

Fun to play but kinda buggy
I really have enjoyed this game for years but the amount of problems with the game destroys lots of potential it has.
The idea for the game is really creative and fun, but in trying to put that idea in to action many errors have occurred. Like when you send your people out to a plot or a beacon sometimes they take a route completely different to the one you set up for them because they couldn’t find the staircase you made. Or when your collect lots of resources at one time and the sound just cuts out. This Game needs to be refined a lot more then it has been, but it’s been given up on because the developers have just shut the door on its players and there is no sign of future development for this game

Gems
I love this game! It’s awesome how it is so interactive, how whatever choice you make, reflects back on your people! However, most actions tend to cost gems. Now, this wouldn’t be a problem if gems were made more available in the game (other than getting ONE gem per add you watch, or finding two or three in a chest.) This can be a problem, as sometimes, you NEED gems to progress gameplay and advance your village. I suggest making little side quest type things that you can gain gems from (like the voyages) so that it make the game a lot more enjoyable to play. Thanks!

Amazing game- a suggestion
Hey, I love this game, a suggestion I have is that you can send down a messiah, or chosen one (or even bless a follower) this follower would have augmented everything, and could be leashed at no cost (as well as allowing a certain following of people the same,) I’m sure you guys could also think up some other stuff as well :)
Really hope you implement this, it would add another fun element to this beautiful game

Cash Grab
Practically everything about this game is great and original. I love the sculpting, building, the cards— up until the happy followers card. At first, you think keeping your followers happy will be easy, because of course that’s when you have your gems. But every single gift costs gems, and sooner or later you’ll run out like I did. I’ve had Godus a couple times over the last 2 years and every time I get it back, I always think “The only reason I couldn’t keep my followers happy was because I wasn’t playing properly”. Nope. My technique is fine. Might as well just make it a pay to play because it’s way too hard to keep our followers happy enough to stop them from going to the Astari.

Wow! Amazing— just one problem
When ever I find a blue chest, I realise a found it in the wrong order. I got the first two right, but then the other two stories where about war that in the time I was playing, did not occur yet. I think you just need to make a change so that when you find a blue chest, you find it in the right order, no matter what.
Everything besides that is amazing. I absolutely love it. Such a cool game.
Hope the future updates fix that!

Fabulous-ish!
Yes, there might be some problems but I just LOVE the art work :* I use to play other games like this but it was more of a ugly survival kind and I didn't like it cause it was too complicated. This game is easy to figure out, it also has a story and gives some SIMS vibes which I love. It's sometimes a bit difficult to move around plus I don't know if you can 'bulldoze' buildings later on or not but there is a building like right in front of my dock and sometimes they get built inside other objects which glitches the buildings actions or just can't click it but it's alright nothing major although it bugs me alot. Overall this game has a few glitches here and there but honestly this is my type of game that'd I actually play ALOT until it's boring so adding a few things here a there regularly or occasionally would be magnificent there's a lot of various things that could be added/done to the game and I hope that this game hasn't been dropped or is a one off game. Thank you.

Great but controls need to be improved
This game is amazingly awesome. The best of it’s kind but the controls make it hard for new players. I think that there should be a button that gives you the option to chose what you want to do , based on what you have. This would make the game much more enjoyable and fun. Also I wish you could upgrade your old houses when you unlock new ones. Thanks for the epic game. 😄

Flawed
An absolutely brilliant game with some crippling flaws. The controls make it hard to move around the map sometimes when you have different levels. But the worst part is the ads. More often than not they crash the game. I get that it's the primary revenue for the creators but when an ad is supposed to come up and instead you get a blank screen and a frozen game it's frustrating as hell. I've had to close the game and restart more often than not because of an ad. This would be five for five for a free game but the implementation of ads ruins it. I'm happy to watch a 30 second video to put some coin in your pocket but 'loading mini game..., oh no crashing...' Or 'I this feature requires you to watch an ad so... Wait... Blank screen... Nothing.... Sorry the game froze...' Really pisses me off. But I still persist because it's a good game. So here is my 3star review.

Meh
I use to play this game a lot but I deleted it ages ago because all this game was back then, was a cash grab. You couldn’t do anything without this game practically shoving deals and gem packs in your face.
I’m sad to see that after coming back to the game years later, nothing has changed. Which is sad because this game is really enjoyable. But as you get further into the game, you lose belief so quickly so you have to buy a belief pack, which requires gems. And if you don’t have gems, you need to buy them. Starting at $7.99.
I wish this game would be more even to people who don’t pay to play.. But I doubt that’ll ever happen.

This game is really enjoyable
This game is extremely enjoyable for those people that love building and growing a society and I’m one of those people but I don’t just like that I also like how a game looks and runs that looks of this game are beautiful but the game can be annoying at sometimes because of you having to wait for resources, you should definitely give this game a go it provides a sense of freedom if you say. :)

Money grab
The game is really enjoyable at first but the longer I play it the more I start loosing interest. It’s really centred around spending money on gems (I know most games are but they at least make it good for those who play for free). Gifts, powers, settlements etc. cost more and more as you place them in the game making it harder for you to use them. Gifts in particular keep your people happy but they are the hardest to use as they costs gems and again you put one in a game, you go back for another and it’s doubled in price! A lot of other games at least give you other options that cost coins or in this case “belief” but still having other items that cost gems. I’m one of these people that like to sit down and spend a good chunk playing in one sitting and if I have to spend most of that time watching ad after ad just so I can put a fountain in to make my people happy then I’m just going to get bored.
I do love the game play though, sculpting the land is really therapeutic for me and I could do it forever!! Just wish it was a little bit more flexible with purchasing items.

Great game but needs a little more content
I love Godus and it is so interesting managing every part of my followers lives but the voyage is a little short and requires either more levels or different areas to explore which could be interesting especially with maybe another race that you can bring back to your island? I love the graphics,cards,people and how you can create your own world. Also I would wish a few ideas to the game! 1:I would like animals to spawn,little after the tutorial and then more the further you go! 2: The animals can be interacted with the people so to tame,milk,feed and care. 3: I wish there was some big fish like whales,sharks,dolphins,etc

The only reason this didn’t get 1 star is because it’s actually a good game. It takes ages to load and drains your battery like you wouldn’t believe. I could get past that, but the ads are everywhere. You can’t place stickers on a card without watching a long ad for some crappy game that will redirect you to the App Store. In desperation I turned to ad blockers, but it won’t let you open the app if you have an ad blocker on. If the developers are reading this, ditch the random ads. You can still make money by adding pay to win features or more ads to get a little bonus, but don’t let this ad nightmare continue to wreck the gameplay

Slow
The graphics are stunning, and the game itself is both relaxing and highly addictive. However, even though I've only had it for about a day, progress is slowing down very quickly. It's not even the waiting that's the problem - that's to be expected for any mobile game. It's the fact that the prices are constantly going up. Every time anything is bought, it becomes more expensive to buy again. It's absurd, especially considering that nothing bought can create an equivalent increase in Belief or Gems. It doesn't make the game challenging, it just makes it incredibly slow.

Massive glitch completely killed my game
I love this game. I really do, it's beautiful, calming, creative and fun. I've been playing for a couple months now and I was working towards completing it UNTIL THE WHOLE THING RESET ITSELF. Every house, follower, monastery, field, and mine I have built in Weyworld is gone. I have no idea if my home world is okay and I don't want to check because if it's not I won't be able to get back. Im more than a little bit angry because even though I had it linked to my Facebook so I could save it in case this happened again (yes it is the second time) it's apparently saved it after the reset so all the effort I put in has been completely wasted. Don't bother getting this game, it barely ever gets updated and glitches like this make it unplayable. Severely disappointed

Amazing Game!!
This is a beautifully designed and created game, and everything about it is smooth. It is very addicting and fun, but in my opinion, the happiness bar sort of ruins it. It is hard to keep them happy and will find yourself losing lots of followers to the Astari tribe, which feels very unpleasant. If the opinion bar was easier to fill this would be better. Otherwise a good game!!

Ideas and quarrels
I love this game truly it is one that entertains me for hours but the one thing that annoys me the most is how every time you the God uses his powers the cost in belief rises it doesn't make sense it costs more of the people's belief for me to prove my existence that's my only thing and I think you should add an army feature to fight the astari people and a hunting feature for your people and you should be able to use all the land because you are a god so why can't you use all the land there is
