App & Service No Good
Company and its system needs a lot of work. We waited over 2 hours for what should’ve been a 50min trip turned into a four hour trip to Niagara Falls. The app doesn’t show accurately pick up and drop off locations. Slow loading and not logical to navigate. Maybe it’s great in Germany where it originates from, but I do not recommend using in Buffalo / Niagara USA. We will use the cheaper, reliable public transport back to Buffalo.

Voucher given not cash refund
Be very wary of booking with this bus company. I booked a bus to Canberra, then had to cancel with a $30 fee. No-where on the booking does it say i wouldn’t receive a cash refund so i cancelled. Once cancelling I received a message saying that i was getting a voucher in replacement for my cash refund. The voucher never arrived !!!! So this bus company has just profitted off my cancellation by $95 !!!! There is no contact number to speak to a real person & there message system sends you in circles with no resolution !!!!! BE VERY WARY OF BOOKING WITH THIS BUS COMPANY!!!!!!!

flixbus = stress bus
If I could give zero stars, I would. FlixBus is hands down the most unreliable travel company I’ve ever used. My bus from Split to Zagreb was delayed for hours, which meant I missed my connecting bus to Venice — a connection that I had booked on the same ticket. You would think their customer service would actually help in this situation, but nope. Every time I contacted them, I was met with copy-paste replies and zero effort to solve the problem.
They made me wait until I physically arrived in Zagreb to even ask for a rebooking, and when they finally rebooked me, they shoved me onto a bus I didn’t want — ignoring the fact that I specifically asked for the 8:45pm departure to Venice Mestre. I had to chase them AGAIN to get on the bus I actually needed.
The whole “missed connection guarantee” is basically useless if their staff won’t actually listen or help. Customer service is robotic, unhelpful, and completely uninterested in passengers who are stranded because of their delays.
Save yourself the stress — FlixBus is cheap for a reason, and you’ll pay for it in frustration, wasted time, and endless back-and-forths with a “support team” that does nothing.

FlixBus is terrible
Waited for the bus for 2 hours only for the bus to arrive late. We tried to ask for assistance and the driver told us to take our stuff and go away. Italy has some of the worse customer service I have ever experienced. FlixBus was the worse of it. The driver was smoking and blowing smoke in our faces and offered no assistance. I would rather walk than use this service. The attitude of the driver tells me they’re not going to do anything about their service. You’d think the paying customer was the reason they have a job but they don’t care.

Maybe try another company
Having booked early and paid €10 each way Toronto Union to Niagara Falls, the return trip time was repeatedly delayed with arrival rescheduled from 9.10pm to 9.50pm. Whilst at Niagara I was notified the return trip due to leave at 8pm was delayed 60-90 mins. This would get me to Union at 11-11.30pm…far too late to be walking alone to my hotel.
I opted to catch an earlier bus at a one way cost of €32!!

Disgusting service. Our bus showed up and driver did not get out. Just drive off 1 minute later- 10 minutes earlier than the scheduled time. Had to purchase new tickets for several HOURS later.

Starting point wrong
The bus went about 200 m away from where the starting point was marked on the map in Seville. Fun to notice this five minutes before departure.
The rest of the rather poor experience on the actual bus is not the app’s fault, but the bus’s, but suffice to say it was a pretty unenjoyable experience, and it was my first and last time on flix.

Missed bus
I downloaded the app to s e if it would give me a better pick up location because the emailed ticket didn’t have a location. Once downloaded it had a bus time of arrival and it had been altered to arrive 30min late I checked the app maybe 15min before original arrival time still said 30min delay so I went to the bathroom and got ready for the bus went out waited for 20min wondering what’s going on I checked the app again and the arrival time had been reset to only 5min from original arrival so I had missed the bus

The pick up points in both Fort Lauderdale and Orlando have no signage to indicate you are in the correct location for the bus causing anxiety for travelers. Also people sit anywhere in the bus even though you pay extra for specific seats ( which aren’t marked in the bus). Busses are nice drivers good just let yourself down in those important areas😔

Terrible experience
We arrived at station on time and there are ONLY ONE BUS there, so we try to get on the bus. The driver closed the door and refuse to communicate with us. We cannot find our bus around (the station and the parking nearby) so we insist to ask him. He is rude to us and deny he is the one go to New York, but after we left, he immediately drive away and THERE ARE NO OTHER BUS IN THE STATION. We try to contact with customer service several times but nobody answer the phone. We have to wait 2 hours and rebook our trip.

Trip was a disaster!! Bus went past Zakopane and dropped us off I don’t know where!! We had to take a taxi back to Zakopane which cost us 150zlt.

Poor service
I booked with FlixBus but they texted me on the wrong number that the bus I was taking would actually not be a FlixBus branded bus but a random bus. I didn’t receive the text and missed my bus. The rebooking cost for the next bus was triple the original booking because of late notice and no compensation was received. They even charged me 5 euro cancellation fee of the unbranded bus.

Easy and quick to book through the app, comfortable and efficient service in well appointed coaches, free wifi. Some drivers don’t bother to make announcements in English, so you need to be aware. All services I have used have departed on time with minimal arrival delays.

I'm completely devastated with this company. My bus from Montpellier with conexion to Lyon with Cologne as a final destination never came. Would be 15 hours my total trip. I wait more than 2 hours in Montpellier when my friend called to costumer service and they said that they changed me (without no communication) to a bus to Paris?!?! at 22:05. When the bus arrived, the driver had no idea what was happening. And he was very gentle calling the company that took a while to find out what's happened. I arrived at Paris 8 am and the bus to Cologne was just 10:30. For my surprise nobody sent to me a ticket and took a while talking all my frustation on facebook chat with the company when finally they gave me some answer. In the costumer service after more than 30 minutes in the line that I have pictures and all the proofs ,in Paris , they also said that they could nothing!!! (Now I am more than 24 hours in a super stressful situation. I will loose the presentation of friends in Cologne and I am have more than 10 hours inside a bus without shower, without sleep well (the bus was freezing during the night) Sounds a big drama but this is real life. Flixbus I want all my rights and never I will travel with this company! You are unresponsive, unrespectul and completely disorganised with your clients!

Cheap trips but you get what you pay for
I’ve taken flixbus about four times now. Only one of them was a perfect trip. The worst was when I had to take two buses and changeover halfway and they cancelled the second bus while I was in the first bus which left me in the middle of no where. They also don’t have phone support which I personally don’t like in a company for emergency situations. What would’ve been an 8 hour journey turned into almost 24 hour journey. 1 Star for the one time I had a perfect bus ride. Would I recommend? Yes they’re great and cheap but if something goes wrong be prepared to lose a lot of time

Worst Company Ever
Don’t even waste your time with FlixBus, both times I have used them they have over booked the buses which resulted in 30-1hr delays and people forced to sit on the floor or stand for 1hr-5hrs. They do not communicate the issues to other passengers either. Terrible service, I would much rather pay triple the price somewhere else than ever use FlixBus or associates again. If I could do zero stars I would.

Disappointment on a huge scale
Please don’t relay on this bus . It’s late for over an hour and plus gets canceled without notice. You can’t get in touch with the office on the phone that’s provided for customer service 24/7 and if you ask any of the other bus drivers they’ve got no clue, very rude and not very helpful. Biggest mistake booking with this company . Not reliable at all . DO NOT TRAVEL AND BOOK WITH FLIXBUS.

Poor communication
Swapped a 1st connection bus with a different company and didn't send any notification until after the bus had left- replacement bus operators didn't liaise with people waiting at the stop- result missed connections bus and hadto pay out 389 euro to arraigned train and lost 8 hours of holiday accommodation that cost us more- totally unsatisfactory communication or assistance. Simply told sorry, nothing they can do about it. This app was useless in this situation- help line was also useless
