So disappointed
I have bought a lot of books and have previously used the app with no problem, but for ages now when I try to open a book - no go - I was giving them time to update but no update for 3yrs - not good and I have a lot of books not read yet

Still not working with iOS or iPadOS 13 or later
I have multiple ebooks I have not been able to read at all as the app fails to launch, and when it does it just crashes. This has been happening for months.

No updates, can’t see books
No updates in the last 3 years. I can’t read my eBooks, everything shows up blank other than my library page. I have purchased so many books, written many notes but they are all gone. I want a refund for all the books and notes that I lost.

Regret buying books on this app
Crashes all the time and pages go blank I constantly have to delete app and download again. Having to start all over again everytime if I want to read my books because of the blank pages and still the same thing after over 1 year of having this app. I don’t want to loose my two books on here which is why I still bother.

Not what I expected
This app is pretty terrible. It keeps crashing every time I go to read my book. I have to keep deleting the app, re-download and re-log in every time. Grrr. If I could give this a zero, I would. Hope Koorong can sort soon.

Wasted a lot of money on books
Worked to start with but in the last 6 months or more I am unable to read any of my books purchased via this store and app. App crashes as soon as I try and read. Wasted a lot of money on books I now can’t read.

Fails to work, and Koorong fails to maintain it!
Koorong has known for some time that there is issues with this app, however they continue to fail to address the issues and provide an update to the app. Worse still they make false claims on their site that the app is compatible with IOS devices!

Blank Pages Forever
This app needs a major overhaul. At the moment I can’t read any of the books that I’ve bought. Once I click on the book, a few seconds of blank screen and then it goes straight to the ipad main screen. I’ve deleleted the app and re-installed it several times - still the same result. I don’t know if this app is still being updated nor being maintained by anyone. What a waste!

Absolutely disgusting
I have recently purchased almost $100 worth of books to read in this app.
It stopped working on my Samsung galaxy now it wont work on my iPad.
I want my money back or the books sent out to me! I have not even had a chance to read them!
Koorong get your act together and fix this, refund me or send the books I have paid for to me!

A little clunks and hard to sort
Horrible app to use. I have lost how any times I have had to delete be app and start again. The blank pages of death are horrible. Ok.. this app needs much improvement...
Other than it being completely unusable at the moment it would be nice to have pictures on all my books (I am missing covers off a number of books, and you can’t tell what they are in grid view) also when you have many books, it becomes hard to sort through them... could you put different “bookshelves” so you could seperate different topics/authors/series... or move them in order of series.... Also having some free text or some so you can add what book number it is in the series, or notes??
Please fix this app, or offer refunds for people who have wasted money buying books they can no longer use.

Can’t even read the book I paid for
This is the worst ebook reader app. I paid money for a book and the pages are blank?!? I contacted support and still have heard nothing. Disappointing that the app is so bad and I can’t read the book I spent money on.

I would have preferred am eBook to download into one of my existing digital libraries rather than having to install yet another app into my already overstuffed phone storage.

Disappointing !
Purchased a few ebooks at Koorong, not knowing this the reader was going to be absolutely a waste of money. When you first load your books up, you may or may not get them to come up. The normal seems to be blank pages. If you’re lucky enough to get the pages to, with the writing, don’t hold your breath, the next time you go to open the reader it will be blank. The only workaround I have worked out is to delete the app and reinstall again. I won’t be buying any more e-books on Koorong any time soon, this is so disappointing.

Terrible
I would give this zero if I could. There’s a blank page every time I open this app to read my book. I literally have to reinstall the app (recommended when I called to ask why it’s blank) every time I want to read the book. It’s so frustrating. There must be a better way!! This has really put me off buying anything from koorong.

Terrible app to see ebook & audio book
I recently purchased an ebook and also an audio book so I can read them and listen to them quickly since they will always been on my phone. But the app is so terrible the ebook bible I downloaded I could not easily go to the book I wanted to. It’s was painful manually going through pages of contents page to get to any changer of the book.
The audio book kept cutting off and restarting without finishing and I could not stop and listen from where I last stopped. Waste of money since I cannot read or listen to my purchases because of this horrible app.

Frustrating
Highlighting in this app is painful. Often it will jump a page or two, then the page I was on would disappear. Eventually I would find my page, try to highlight again, repeat the problems nice or twice. By the fourth time, I generally am able to highlight what I want.
Also, to access my books, I had to log out, and then log back in.
I find this app poor quality. The price increase of purchasing a kindle book would be worth it, to avoid the frustration.

Getting worse
I found it frustrating to have to delete the app and re-download it each time I bought a book, but I could tolerate that. Now I have to delete and download every time I use it because the pages are blank after the first use. Disappointing as I love to support Koorong, but it makes me wish I bought these books through a different app.

Just bought a book - needed to load the Koorong app onto my new iPad. Was told I needed to log into my account - typed my customer number and password and hit enter, only to find myself toggling between the two. Grrrrr

All worked OK till this week, all dowloaded books disappeared,rang up,had to delete app, reinstal then redownload & resort books. Now it works on & off, one day ok, next blank pages or the whirly loading symbol forever. Not happy Jan!!! (I WAS happy till this week)

Too many syncing 'issues'
Every time I close the app half way though a chapter, and then go beck to read, it always shows a blank page (when I’ve only read half of the page I’m on). Either fix this issue or allow us to transfer the books to the iOS app

Pretty Good but needs improvements
I love that you can customise the page and do a flip action on the pages instead of a slide... i just hope you can integrate features with the apple pencil wherein it can highlight parts of the book which you want to highlight and have the option to write notes...

Total garbage. Don’t waste your time, or money or frustration.
I downloaded this app with high hopes and the intention of supporting a local bookstore that was trying to compete with the global giant. I wasted hours emailing the technical support team to try and get my purchased book to install on the app, and eventually after many emails it worked.
The app is terribly slow and unreliable.
It recently just showed a blank screen I stead of my book and I have given up contacting Koorong to try and get it resolved.
Don’t waste your time or your money, just buy books from someone else. I am never using the app again - wasted my time
And money and caused a lot of frustration. In the end it doesn’t work and I can’t get a refund. Not happy.

Handy to have
Is good to be able to read books without carrying a bagful everywhere.
Does however need a bit of work: one book regularly opens without words, so I have to delete the app, reinstall the app, sign in again, download the book again...

Difficulty accessing my purchases
The app was working splendidly but one morning I went to open it up to continue reading and all the books I had were blank pages. Now I’m sure these authors did not write nothing and had them published. So I’m really frustrated as these books I purchased. I would rather not go through another channel to read my online books. So please fix your app.

Bad user experience, bad design.
This app needs a complete design overhaul. The user experience is horrendous and is certainly going to frustrate anyone accustomed to reading using the Kindle app or iBooks.
Hopefully future releases will improve this app, until then I won’t be purchasing ebooks via Koorong which is disappointing.

Blank book
At first the app was working well but a quarter of the way the page froze and now I can’t seem to see anything but a blank page. This is very frustrating as it’s been two days already. I’ve deleted the app and hopefully it works the second time round.
