I can’t believe that a major channel can have such a crappy app. Even with a broadband, the video keeps downloading every 5 mins. Thoroughly disappointed!

The app is garbage and I wasted my money on this absolutely horrendous streaming service. Don’t waste your money on this, go to Netflix, trust me, its a lot better. :)

A few days ago the app was updated (was bad enough and kept crashing on iOS), was hopeful with the new app design but sorry to say but bitterly disappointed. The app does not Chromecast properly and regardless of what you watch it keeps crashing every few minutes. Expected better from Zee.

Looks like this app is only their to make money by adding lots of advertisements .. 20 min show will have 6 advertise with no option to skip the advertisements.

Worst App I have used. Shouldn’t have subscribed. The streaming is very very slow and always comes up with error (20-50-10).

Very excited in the beginning to get this app but later found this app very basic and seems low budget. I am not a developer or belongs to IT field but can easily tell the difference of quality work in comparison with other apps like Netflix or Amazon Prime. Complexity makes it very frustrating to be on this app. I am only using this app now if really I have to watch something very good or I have nothing to watch on Netflix or Amazon. I really want the developers of this app to up their game as I want this app to be at quality level. This is my honest feedback and I hope this should only be used as an encouragement to go big and better.

Searching for contact can better. Example: saregamapa should show Sa Re Ga Ma Pa in the search result.
Loading takes for ever.
Though the content is good, value for money is not there due to the above app issues.

I made the mistake of subscribing without reading the comments here. Installed ZEE5 on Apple TV.
Quality of playback is good, however not being able to have subtitles on Apple TV is a let down.
Worst part is not being able see the subtitles even through Chromecast/Air drop.
What is the point of showing Subtitles on Mobile, while casting on a TV! Disappointed.
I don’t expect the developers to fix this, as there are many comments with same issue even from last year.

No doubt, ZEE5 has got variety of content. But the chromecast never worked for me. Way too many playback errors, content looping tests user patience. App crashes often. The customer care responded immediately to my concerns but none of the issues got fixed.
ZEE5 should redo their app for better customer experience.
Subtitle Issue / casting issue

Tried to play movie on Apple TV, it won’t show me subtitles on the TV, but it shows when playing on mobile or laptop.
When casting from mobile, movie plays on TV with no subtitles on TV , but on mobile it does.
When tried to screen mirror from mobile / laptop devices, it showed “screen recording detected”.
Searching any particular movie is such a pain, even after saving content language preferences, it shows the content in all of non required languages except the one you want.

Show poor quality video when casting on tv and app crashes multiple times for certain content. Next doesn’t come up automatically and u have find it, continuation of previously watched film or episode doesn’t always works. Netflix and amazon has a good user interface to learn from.

2) After casting on TV very hard to add next queue episodes.

I just start watching ZEE5 and it’s keep crashing on Samsung TV.

Zee5 has great content . You cannot cast some of new premium contents . The contents you are able to cast picture quality like pirate movies. Zee has to improve the app featureif has to be successful .
I had raise these issue with support no success . I will not renew my subscription. Will suggest not to sign for long subscriptcheck it for month before you sign for long period

Subscribed the app, while casting movie to tv only blank page no movie playing,while shows play with 360p resolution,while raised a ticket waste of time asking for tv model, casting model, iPhone model are you lost or what,All other apps play with 4K,does they ask for model details to cast.And now the team you reply like sorry for this, your network is low,we will update it soon,For Netflix prime there is no network issue you got issues,Simply taking money, may customers rating comments are same since 1.5 years still no answers

Poorest of apps I have ever come across. Emailed the support team regarding feedback on app and they said sorry there isn’t anything they can do right now. That was a year ago and until this day nothing has been done to improve their app. Such a shame you can’t act on 1000 of feedback.

Just downloaded the App yesterday. The video quality while streaming is very poor . I have used another apps such as Netflix and prime videos never had a problem with streaming video quality . The videoquality comes as blur as Internet is problem whereas It is not the case at my house . I will give this app for a another week and discontinue if it does improve .

The app is wired, not able to play the premium title using cast button.
Very low resolution movies, quality is not good.
The movies are not playing even on browser it gives error ‘something went wrong please try again’ this error comes up every 5-10 mins while watching a premium movie on chrome/edge browser on windows and chrome/safari browser on MacBook.
Worst seri e I have reported this error and asked for refund, they said can not refund as per terms of use. They released fault product and make people to pay for it even it’s fault from their side.

Since the update of app couple of months ago, nothing works. Talking to support via email from last four weeks without any resolution. Asked support to talk to us over phone and resolve and offered to call them. Still support only wants to communicate via email and don’t provide the call back number. Over email support keep asking same information again and again without resolving the issue. I
