keyboard - not a good experience

Tried this on tvOS and not to a good start. Keyboard is not the standard apple keyboard. For someone who connects to apple tv via iphone to input username/password with remote keyboard it won’t work. that’s a deal breaker for me especially when using secure passwords that are stored in password manager.

Terrible experience

Apple TV app is terrible. UI glitches, app freezes and skips during UI navigation, search function doesn’t work 90% of the time, you can’t search with Siri via the remote. I paid $10 for this and it’s a complete waste of money. Do not buy this.

Getting Amazing, Fast!

Top of wishlist is to be able to view movies & TV series by thumb (landscape.jpg) instead of poster in Jellyfin servers. Fantastic though in general.

Update: Blown away by how fast the tvOS app has been created. That said could do with some polish - seems to be a bug where clicking the central remote button causes the highlighted item to jump back to the previous item.

Still would love to view movies and TV thumbs instead of posters (Jellyfin) :D

Streams better than the official app. On the train with spotty cell service the show won’t start buffering and won’t get stuck.

Misleading screenshot

Bought the app based on screenshot of the library UI which I believe to be a more direct and simple layout. Turns out the app was updated before my purchase to change the UI. The very UI I bought the app for.

Now I’m stuck with an app that is no better than the official Plex app as my request for refund has been denied.

Ps. With the recent news of Plex announcing crackdown of blocking remote access without subscription, perhaps one of the most enticing feature of this app is fated to doom.

Only light usage so far but so far been a faster, lighter alternative to the Plex app

Excellent Plex Client

I’ve only been using Plezy for one day so far, but in that time, it’s already proven itself to be a far better Plex client than anything else I’ve used. None of the fluff in the official client, just fast access to library and very good streaming. Don’t waste time, just get this and be happy.
