Great relaxing game
Great game for slow play and relaxation, playing non stop last 3/4 months. If you plan well and spend game items wisely, it’s much fun. Would request to have a weather feature otherwise same location is bit monotonous sometimes.

I think this is a great game it takes time to build money and train parts, the only thing I think that could be improved is an option to pay for no ads across the whole h\game and also the rewards should be hire when paying for premium upgrades for the different eras and events

The adverts spoil what is otherwise a great game. The ads that don’t freeze my device (a relatively late model iPad), take up to 5 minutes to complete. I’m not against ads (the developers need to make money somehow) but whoever is delivering them needs changing.
The game itself is well worth the download, the graphics are great and the gameplay is good. If only the ads behaved this would be 5 star.

Disappointing
Played on IPad. Played for 6 months. Graphics and gameplay are not as great as the 2nd game. Most importantly with gameplay - CASH. Opportunities to earn cash to do everything in the game eventually runs out. I tried playing the game each day for ten days after I ran out of cash, hoping for another passenger train run or the mini drive a train event to earn more cash but nothing, crickets. Please make the game so you don’t have to heavily rely on cash. The 2nd game played perfectly without needing to get cash so I will play again when the 3rd game mechanics are similar to the 2nd game. Train Station 2 is the best

Constant Grind
It’s a constant grind,trains require upgrades, buildings require upgrades. You will run out of fuel a lot, seems to be better further I progress though.
You will spend a lot of in game money upgrading trains early on only to find you have to assign to a factory so those upgrades were totally unnecessary and wasted so much money and parts!
Early game trains are trash and become useless as you progress, only useful for the factory assigned jobs so don’t waste time trying to max them out.
Latest update was forced to spend 100 gems in game currency to be able to progress further. Now normally that would be ok but this game is the tightest game I have ever played for giving in game currency. You get a whole 2 gems from game as progression reward! Very very rarely might get more so use sparingly.
You can get some free fuel, parts, etc but be prepared to watch ads, lots of ads.
I gave up watching them as some ads went on and on.
Like all mobile games everything costs money, $30 to buy a train lol. The usual overpriced packs of progression which most are just for the whales and kids with mommy’s credit card.
As I’ve progressed a fair bit, it’s become pretty repetitive, new factory items opening as you progress keep you hooked. But it was a hell of a grind not spending much.
You get bigger trains, upgrade them but the game makes them use more fuel, increases the amount needed to transport and the in game cash rewards are very small considering a train cost over 1 million dollars a d I’m getting six thousand for grinding out a job, it’s just getting ridiculous how much I have to do and seems to be getting worse with greed.
Guess people don’t spend enough haha!

Every mechanic in this game punishes you for playing it.
Every train you send on a trip, needs fuel, when you’re out, you have to wait HOURS for more fuel. Or pay for more.
Every item you craft, needs workers to craft it, you only get 3. After that, you have to wait for more. Or pay for more.

Great Graphics that all
Great to look at but after half an hour or so when you run out of the things to send trains. It becomes rediculously frustrating, I’m at a point with it that I will only turn it on occasionally now. Not good at all. And the game gives you very little for free. Not enough to run trains.

Wow not at all what I was expecting.
I thought this was going to be another one of those Chinese rip offs for sure so I keep putting it off, but I caved and I was not disappointed at all. The game is incredible (room for improvement) but incredible, the graphics are really nice and as far as I can tell it is NOT AI slop which is a breath of fresh air for me.
I do have some questions through:
1. I only just started and I was looking at the progress system and it seem like once you reach a certain year you move to a different country now is it possible to go back to say Pennsylvanian and build it up to the modern era or is it stuck in the 1930.
2. Can I work for the war effort? What I mean is in 1940 to 1990 is the world effected by events not just war that happened it that time period? Like world war 2, Cold War and the fall of the Berlin Wall.
That is all for now keep up the great work I am looking forward to this games future and I am willing to be in for the long half. 😎
FYI I love trains, plane, boat, truck and tank pretty much anything with a big engine that is made for big things don’t let me down.🇦🇺

Fuel = $$$
Not a bad game but only 20mins of fun per day really as you quickly run out of fuel and unless you spend a lot of real money you need a backup game to go to while you wait for the timer on the fuel bowser to expire.

Buggy on my iOS 17 iPad
Was going well and enjoying the game until Christmas events and features. Game now hangs my iPad when trying .
Advised support a few times but no response yet.
Hopefully it comes good but getting demoted rapidly now .

What appears as a good games is clunky, buggy and freezes prior to dropping out. This games still has a number of system issues and bugs to fix. Sadly emails and requests to the people behind the game went ignored. I wonder if they will reply here

Enjoying this game to pass the time, like waiting for a train the game can take some time to refuel so you can get back to work. Have ended up buying fuel (aim of the game is to make money so I get that!) however I have now lost both passenger trains from the station and would like them back - did they crash in the tunnel??

Really only need to play for a handful of minutes every 4 hours as trains need fixing to quickly. And take forever to repair themselves. Kinda ruins the game to be honest. Otherwise game and graphics would get 5 stars

The game at times is slow to load and at times won’t load at all…
To get it to load I restarted my iPad, it still wouldn’t load so last resort removed the game, which on games such as csr2 is fine…
However it doesn’t store in the cloud, so it lost everything including my in game purchases… due to a persistent slow, or at times not loading error.. it’s a good game, but this is a MAJOR flaw, it’s only on your device, not their servers… such a simple fix… but one they chose not to have

Great game, mostly…
Whilst the attention to detail, realistic effects, moving parts in the background are wonderful, and a train lovers delight, trying to play this on a mobile device is difficult. It would be great if there were a way to turn off some of the moving parts…. I don’t need to see shadows from clouds overhead for example. And the text… you’ve gone to great lengths to write interesting but ultimately unnecessary pop up, voice by voice conversation, and no way to skip them. Half the time just being dragged to the new area to see this stuff crashes the game.
The big question is… will the detail ultimately affect the monetisation, when I suspect quite a few people will be exasperated by the lag and crashing, and just ditch?

A good game but unplayable after a while
It’s a great game, looks great and the gameplay is solid. Odd and pointless scriptwriting. But after a while the gameplay is unplayable if you don’t spend ridiculous amounts of money on it. Starts off with good and endless durability on the trains and slowly progresses to each train only being able to do between one and three journeys before you have to wait hours and hours to continue playing. I would have spent $10 to buy this game outright if the game could be played a little more logically. Unfortunately you’ll just end up frustrated with it.

Enjoyed the game and building up the network and levels. The second era added too many elements to manage, but like sim-tower to sim-city, and it's more mucking around servicing 20 different products. Literally went from playing multiple times a day to abandoning it in the space of a day. Shame

This is a really good game
I like the gameplay and being able to view your trains as they carry cargo. A little thing i wouldn't mind is if you were able to view the train, then be able to press a button to exit out of the view instead of it automatically leaving the trains view.
I also have a question. This is just a thought here but...will we get a Thomas and friends collab?

Increase in Advertising
I really enjoy playing this game however since the last update, there is increase of advertising.

Basic railway game done well
While the gameplay is fairly simple, it is decent to play. Basic management of resources, production & tasks is the gameplay.
Unfortunately a glitch has found me with zero tasks left to complete except 1 heavy haul task which I don’t have the right trains to complete/ so I’m forced to stop playing 🙃

Some fixes
I only just started playing the game in the tutorial on my second device and a soon as the starter train goes through the tunnel to get wood there’s no foliage and there only a single pice of road that goes no where but
I am going to get to the best part
The graphics and story as well how quickly you released it I didn’t even notice Because the way noticed was when I saw it on my Home Screen but then i remembered I preordered Wich is a huge helpful thing
Next the story it was perfect and only played for 20 minutes like the last one got to hard quicker and the part where you buy trains instead of rolling a box is perfect thank
The graphics where perfect it makes me feel like i was in the 1930s to 1940s era because of the paint like art style because the last one was good I got to American before the grind started but it wasn’t interesting as this
When you played the last one you felt like a cartoon but it was still good but this makes feel like your there
And if your ever gonna change the graphics keep this as a setting or you might not have one of the three things that makes it special this is one of the best train games ever

Best train simulator I’ve played
Train station 3 is so good with the graphics and music and sounds. I would recommend it to anyone. It’s runs very well and smooth with 3 gb of ram even though they say you need 4 gb of ram. It’s so much better and improved compared to train station 2 but train station 2 is still good but this is so much better and improved
