Let’s cut to chase: not being able to watch the episodes offline. Downloading them beforehand would make the experience muck better, no lagging or buffering. Otherwise it’s an amazing app!

Persistent bug
Hey all,
This is my third or fourth download as I keep having to delete the app and reinstalling it :(
I keep getting the cache error “…200” so my videos won’t play. While this is annoying the worst part is I often don’t know where I have gotten up to and in a 5 hour episode and that is a sad task !
Do you know if this is a known issue?

Locking me out of my account
Every time I close the app and reopen it I get logged out of my account and because I’ve had to log in so many times I reached some stupid “limit of actions and have to wait like twenty minutes just to try to log in again, what the hell? I paid for this why can’t I use it?

Lock Screen play option
I’m a gremlin who goes between watching and listening to CR so YouTube has been the perfect place to consume CR content. I’d like to swap over to beacon but won’t until we get the option to continue listening to content when screen is locked

Doesn’t do the main thing it’s good for
When I first heard abt beacon I was super excited. A way to support my fav creators and also not have to deal with yt’s ads and their winging about background playback yt premium? Sign me up. But you still can’t switch between watching something to using a different app or having your phone locked. It just stops the playback and waits for you to open the app again. So just a piece of advice, one incredibly simple way you can get people to want to pay for your service is to have literally just the barest of bones of functionality. Like please the only actually different thing I was expecting about it this app compared to the yt channel is that I would be able to use other apps or have my phone locked while listening to it without giving yt money so I genuinely do not understand the point of the service anymore? Like cool you put just your yt vids on a $6 streaming service that doesn’t work, so thanks for taking my money I guess

Great 1-Stop Shop for CR
It’s very handy and great to navigate, couple of bugs but nothing major. Love having all CR content in one place.
The only thing keeping this from 5 stars is the absence of some QOL and ease-of-use features that other streaming platforms already use (i.e. Dropout). First thing that comes to mind: the lack of a pop-out player/continual playback whilst the phone is locked, even whilst listening to audio-only.

Love CR … the app needs work
The content is amazing!! Love that CR can keep growing new platforms.
But the app needs FIXES for:
- Crashing
- Pages not loading or matching the heading
- Ability to move the progress bar
- endless buffering when selecting “continue watching”
It also needs the ADDITION of some Playback controls and app settings
- choose to autoplay next video or not
- choose the skip time settings
- download for use offline
