Woeful instructions, convoluted set up & unintuitive for non-tech savvy

Had no choice but to get it as the Zimi came with my garage door’s eDoor Connect bundle. Followed what little instructions on SETUP and PAIR WITH ZIMI there were on the instruction sheets that came with the Zimi. Asked me to register, name a place and name a location. All done. It’s still not detecting my device (eDoor Connect) but when I try to re-install, it says it’s already connect but somehow not showing on the app. Uses terminology like “Cloud Connect”, Obviously written by techies for tech savvy people, without understanding that a lot of us are not tech savvy.
On the positive, help chat line gives great support, once you get past the bot.
Post-set up, devices disappear off the app, it frequently is not detected or disconnecting. Graphics for garage door opening is not intuitive and does not fit into one iPhone 16 screen, requiring a scroll down, which is an inconvenience, especially when the app freezes often

This is one of the better apps I’ve used. My Senoa switches are awesome and easy to use with Zimi!

Beautiful to use

Wow, a major UI upgrade makes this app a winner. So much nicer in the dark mode plus intuitive and everything in the right place. Thats Zimi I love it.
