Can’t save in stages
I spent an hour loading the team in, allocating numbers. Then, when I couldn’t allocate a coach it spat me back out and all my work was gone. I can’t adjust player profiles to allocate permanent numbers. I can’t adjust my own profile to make myself a coach. Utter garbage. I’ll just email the team sheets in future.

Link a child to two accounts
Good app but really need to be able to link a child to both parents accounts. Can’t imagine how hard this would be for split families when it comes to marking a child as available or unavailable for games.

Can’t login
It says log in with PlayHQ account but tells me it’s wrong. I login to PlayHQ website with the same credentials and it successfully logs in. Even log into Play AFL on web and it works. Go back to app and it doesn’t work. Cleared cache, uninstalled reinstalled and all the usual and still can’t log in. How can you expect lay parents to use your app if you make login impossible!!

Player Profiles
Another update nobody asked for. Player profiles are messed up. When clicking onto a player profile, it no longer tells you what club they play for. Player movements to other clubs have reverted back to old club for 2026 (player movements were accurate prior to this update) and the green black gradient look on the profiles is awful. Other than that, everything else untouched is fine.

Match times incorrect
All match times are incorrect by typically 30 minutes as all I have seen. I have been playing footy and the team has come 30 minutes late because they looked at this app. At one point I deleted it, and I have now re-downloaded.

My profile is missing all my stats from my junior years so my milestones are at 0 as well as my goals and their is no option to add them and can’t find the clubs I played for which means I have to start all over again.

Difficult to navigate
Unfortunately the app is not intuitive and difficult to navigate. Hard bc at times to find the games that are of interest.
Also often it’s not real time even though it says “live”.
Overall it needs improvement.

Makes everything very easy to access. No issues with the app.
Some suggestions for improvement.
1. Be able to search up a ground and see all games to be played over the weekend. Would make choosing where to watch local footy easier.
2. For teams you have saved, allow people to make a nickname. Instead of reading a bunch of generic club names that tend to show the age last (which cannot be seen on the main page as the names are often too long) I could nickname them U18, U16, U12 etc
Overall a good app, these suggestions could just make it even better

I use all the time since I play local footy in vic you can see your teams stats and you can pin a team or a league or a player. Also you can see all local footy over Australia except for afl and vfl. I mostly use it to see my teams fixture.

Players default to public
I searched for my son and he was a public profile. So I could see where he would be at any time. Surely this is absolutely a no go for child safety? Why wouldn’t the kids details be immediately set to private and you need an account to access it or something to that effect? Am i missing something?

This app has everything at your fingertips. Much better than previous websites used for fixtures and live scores (different company). Now I can favourite teams and players, see fixtures, live scores, play by plays and quarter/time breakdowns. And also there’s career and season stats. I love it!

Aquinas Jfc is 2 weeks out from season kicking off and still cannot get the 2024 details up via the app and cannot figure out who or where to send an email to find out why a Yarra valley junior league club is not got current details on app

Does this app actually work?
Try to add favourites. Tried two leagues (Great Southern FL and Northern Territory FL) and then clubs (Victor Harbor and Wanderers) in the search section. Hit done. NOTHING!
Tried a big name player (Ollie Wines). NOTHING!
Except it tells me to favourite Leagues, players, grades etc on the same page that refuses to find them in a search.
What a waste.
