Idk why people don’t like this

It was awesome, so quick and did it under 30 min,
They scan your passport which is super awesome, so much better than the old passports

Payment crashes app

I’d give it 5 stars up until the payment page. Left the app to get the required banking code, came back to find it spinning, rendering the entire app useless unless you can get your code sent to a different phone.

Credit card confirmation hangs app

After getting to the payment stage, I entered my credit card details. My credit card provider sends a text with a confirmation code to be entered. As soon as I access the text message the payment confirmation screen in the app disappears and I cannot complete the transaction. Had to start the application all over again and use a payment method that sends a message to a different phone. A pretty basic failing for this app.

Easy to use for Australians

Easy to use with clear instructions. As an Australian. Received ETA in 11 minutes on 29/11. Another family member received ETA in one minute.
Perhaps person trying to apply on 27/11 tried before 11am (midnight in UK) or used the previous version. It was updated on 27/11.

Don’t bother downloading if you are an Aussie!!!

App doesn’t let Australians apply for an ETA. You have to use the website method.

Very confusing

On UK gov page it says all Australian citizens need ETA, but on the app it says we don’t need an ETA. What should I do?
