Love that I can press a button to re-dispense the moment I notice I’m low on any medication (like at 6.30am when I’m taking the last lot!), and then I’m notified when my script is ready to pick up - incredibly useful!

Fix this app

This app gave me a notification that I need a new script from my doctor but when I opened the app, there was nothing about that notification so I don’t know what prescription it was referring to. The app will also let me know that prescriptions are ready to collect, but they aren’t, and the communication with the Chemist is terrible and they never phone when they say they will about a prescription being ready.

Medical Weight Loss

This app does not support he Medical Weight loss program well at all. Trying to make follow up appointments is difficult and hard to fine the program on the app it is berried deep inside the history. Still persevering but it is tricky.

Neither the app nor the customer support work very well

Didn’t receive a message from pharmacy, customer support was super rude and kept insisting that I must not be looking in the right place for the notification or that the sms went to my spam — neither were the case. Had to ask four times to get my order cancelled so I could get it elsewhere and had a dangerous delay in receiving my meds.

Good and bad

I’ve used this app sporadically for medication order and bookings, with no issues. Today I used it to book a flu vaccination, which was accepted and confirmed by text and email in the usual way. When I arrived at the chemist, I was informed that they did not have any flu vaccination stock. I had made a special trip for nothing. I was advised by the chemist that nobody had any flu vaccination stock yet, so there was no point going to another chemist. This particular chemist had already complained to TW management that there was an issue with the app confirming appointments that could not be honoured. This is a major flaw with this app, and Terry White management in general.

Great app for ordering and managing prescriptions

As you get older the number of concurrent prescriptions sky rockets! The TWC app allows me to manage this and order repeat medications. The upsell of additional products as part of the process is annoying, but understandable. It would be nice to have an option of ordering more than 1 repeat (other than a ‘Note to the Pharmacist’ as part of the checkout)

Why change when everything worked well

Finally was forced to use this new app after the old one was decommissioned, reminding me why I stuck with old app until now. This app needs to go back to the drawing board, the automatic “ days to go” has disappeared leaving no obvious notification when scripts need to be refilled. Why is the first front page like a supermarket? This is supposed to be a prescription management tool, not a supermarket. Ordered scripts on the app this morning and went to the pharmacy only to be told that they did not receive the order notification, staff were great (although frustrated) but waiting around now when the system should be streamlining the process. scripts not appearing in my list of medications even after being dispensed. Not happy and considering alternative pharmacy chains based purely on this poorly designed app. Just go back to the old one.

Great App

I don't usually give reviews on apps but I want to for Terry White.

It's an amazing app! As long as you have a TW sign up and or log into your profile, you can put all of your scripts in either eScript or paper form. The scripts show up in your profile and you just click and collect from the comfort of your home and get a notification when they are ready to be picked up generally within the hour, but it also depends on how busy my little terry white is as we live in a rural regional area. I love the click and collect option, it's great. Also if you are away and run out of something script-wise, you can put an order in from the closest Terry White to pick it up or if you go in-store to place the order. All of your repeats also stay on your profile too!

To this date, I have never had a negative experience ‘touch wood’

Top Service

Staff here go to the extra effort to make sure your taken care of. On medication mix up approx 1.5 years ago the chemist here save my life by recognising an issue with a script - I was allergic. I’m not sure how bad the reaction would have been - I really appreciate the due diligence. For this reason I have hardly gone anywhere else and that would only be because I’m out of town. Service with a smile and positive attitude. I couldn’t single anyone out as all staff meet these high standards.

Add Vitamins to List

I was encouraged to download this app after using the original app for Terry White pharmacy for many years and being very happy with that app.

I don’t usually like to change a system that was working very well, I was informed the original is being phased out.

My only real concern about this new app is my vitamins are missing from my main list. Please consider including vitamins to my main list so I can also keep track of when they need to be topped up, just like with my prescribed medications

This app is window dressing and a customer trap

I have a total of 10 medications so I spent an hour setting up my order on the app by taking pictures of every prescription. I sent in the order - fast response - all but one ready, waiting on delivery of the last one. Two days later I went to collect my medicine. Yes, they had my order BUT I waited the usual 20 minutes for the pharmacist to produce my order. Then I questioned what was the use of the app if it takes just as long as before - oh well, came the answer - you have to leave all your scripts with them. But if I do that, as I understand it, I could just ring my order through. So what is the advantage of the app to me? The app helps the pharmacy, not me. I don’t want to leave my scripts with them. What if I decide to go away or change chemists? I have to ask for my scripts back. It’s a major hassle for me. Government regulations require the pharmacist to have the scripts and to process them. The app might be good for someone buying stuff over the counter - MAYBE - but the customer does not get any health advice and the over the counter stuff might be unsuitable, eg excessive vitamin B6 which causes peripheral neuropathy.

New app no upgrade path

After not being able to order medications from the old app had to visit the Pharmacy. Only to be told that there was a new app. Pharmacy sent me a link whick i downloaded and installed. First it would not recognise my old login details so I had the create a new login which failed initially. When i tried again it said it was alteady created! Then managed to log in. Terry White why is there no uograde path from the old to new app why were we as customers not advised that there was a new app which hold the scripts. I was also sent a confirmation number with no explanation on what it was for or what to do with it. Finally worked out that it was associated with some new TWC rewards scam/offer. All in all Terry White Chemmart VERY poorly handled. Even your staff were not told about it till they started gaving customer complaints.

I have been using Terry White App for over 12 months and love the flexibility, ease and convenience of this service. Whether I need my prescriptions delivered or I choose to pick them up - it’s always simple. And I love being notified when my prescriptions are ready.

Scripts

It is very difficult to manage scripts because not all scripts show on my list. They will show if I order them but I can’t do this as they don’t show on the app. The other thing is putting the dispense date on the app will also stop me from ordering things that are not yet available due to a dispense date not shown. Yes it is on the packet. But if you don’t use them in the order of dispensing then I don’t actually know when I order is due. I live out of town and being script organised is essential for my life.

I’m loving the Terry White app as it now keeps me ontop of my prescriptions. I’m no longer losing paper prescriptions and when I order through the app I’m reminded how many repeats I have left. The staff were also really helpful in setting my app for me on my phone as well. Just ask them.

Handy app

The Terry White app is fantastic. Time saving as you don’t have to put your scripts in and wait. Handy because you always have your medicines and dosage in hand. Never have to write them down for a doctors visit you can see at a glance what you take and if you have repeats left. Being able to order other off the shelf items at the same time is also a timesaver. Being able to order out of hours of the pharmacy like when you take the last dose at night means you don’t forget to order them the next day. Being able to take a photo of a new script is also easy and you just take the original in when you go to collect your order.

More than a Chemist!

Terry White Maddingley as the title of my review states is more than a Chemist - they really look after me. Meticulously handle my doses and medications, keep in contact and ensure that my medication requirements are met and handled professionally. The delivery service is a blessing as are all the staff! Online ordering with the App is easy and convenient, simply select your medications, place the order and pick up when you can. Saves time waiting and the staff are extremely helpful if you have any queries. Highly recommend using the app to place orders in advance.

Terrible App

Update: Did as the chemist suggested by archiving old scripts and it removed the medication entirely,

Not just the expired scripts. Everytime I go to use it then something else emerges.

Since the latest update I am unable to order any of my husbands medications. They all say unable to order. The pharmacy has said they have sent back escript token but nothing. Need to get a new script as they can’t find it. I also had everything set so I knew how many tablets were left per dispensed script and now I have to spend hours doing it again as it’s all gone. Really not a great system.

Chaos!

What are all the old expired scripts doing in my medication list and where have my notes gone!! I want to order but have no idea what a script is for as I had that listed in the notes. I can’t even see previous notes as it just wants me to add a new one if I select that field. Surely expired/no longer used scripts shouldn’t be showing up in the medication list as they aren’t valid anyway. Hopefully my pharmacist can sort it out when I see them this week. Chaos and confusion reigns!

Control of Scripts

This app is amazing. Shows all current prescriptions in the one place, which also shows number or scripts available.

Have used this for my elderly mum also, so easy to look as her medication at home and select order of prescriptions needed. Lodge order and ready for collection in a short period of time.

Data management is the pits

The app itself seems quite ok, the management of the data is erratic to say the least.

Seems to be every second time I go to use the app my medication list has disappeared. I’ve got to go too the pharmacy to see what’s going on, they don’t seem to know, but it all reappears a day or so later, is this some fat fingered typist pushing the wrong button??? Who knows.

As I travel around a bit the inventory feature is very handy for me, so if I’m away I can see what scripts I need to order before I get home. The trouble is it keeps disappearing, I’ve re-entered it 3 times so far and every month or 2 I go back to check what scripts I need to order, it’s gone?? Very frustrating.

Double up scripts, not sure if this is the app, TW or my doctor, I’ve had the same script doubled up on my list, it looks like one description was in capitals and the other was lower case.

Combining or linking alternate medications.

I’ve two medications that work the same way, different ingredient. It would be good if these could be linked in some way.

Description of the meds not consistent, on the list of medications some meds are the brand name and the odd one is the actual main ingredient, don’t care what the brand is I need to know what the medication is.

Why try to fix what was not broken

This review only gets one star as I can’t give it any lower. The day I installed the app it crashed my brand new iPhone. My phone is my lifeline as living with long term chronic and life limiting conditions a working phone is a necessity and my phone is also used to remotely send data to my car team due to having multiple devices implanted. I was without a working phone for several days. The app does not keep adequate track of your meds and on multiple occasions it told me I still had a repeat of 2 lifesaving meds which was incorrect. I could not access any medication till I saw my doc and as a patient with cardiomyopathy I need my meds. This nearly cost me my life. Not good enough . Never had an issue with the med advisor/ terry white app . Also when you copy and paste your e script number the app always says ‘ this does not look like a e script number and despite it being one it does not recognise it. It then says check again or try but it won’t work. Guess what it does work. Not easy for those who are not tech savvy as they would incorrectly assume the app was right, which it isn’t. Every staff member at any TWC who I have spoken to have said, the app was rushed out too early and patients have been put at risk and there was no need for it as the other one was great.

Great simple app

App is exactly what it says it is, it is a one stop shop for everything terry white chemart, the app is easy to navigate and has everything you need in one organised hub, you can shop the terry white store, put in orders for easy delivery or click and collect, you can even order your scripts and have them ready for pick up from your chosen terry white store, saving you time and hassle in buying and picking them up, it truely is an app I’ve had no problems with since I downloaded it.

Some fundamental issues

The app is okay, but there are some issues that drive me crazy.

1) Some bulk escripts show as default low dosage amounts which then have to be adjusted with the chemist, but the change still doesn’t ever appear in the app (fortunately the pharmacist at my TW knows what to do)

2) Sometimes the payment method doesn’t work

3) The automated amounts are usually wrong

4) The receipts and order notifications don’t list the actual medications ordered (you just get “prescription medication” as the item), which is annoying when you have multiple medications that have to be ordered at different intervals and you can’t remember if you refilled something recently and didn’t pick it up or if you put it somewhere and it’s hiding, or if you forgot completely

But it’s nice to be able to order scripts and pick them up.

But don’t ever download the non customised version of this app—it’s a nightmare to remove once it’s decided it’s the default app.

I have been a customer of Terry White’s since 2015 (before becoming Terry White), and the service is impeccable. You are treated with respect and never ignored. If you ask a question, it is answered, and they will find out from the supplier to help answer your question.

Even when they are truly busy, you are still spoken to and asked how your day has been whilst you’re being served.

Luke and his team have won awards, and I know they will keep winning awards because the team there are great!

The new app is super easy to use.

I even book my flu shots there as I’ve never suffered a bruise - that’s a great reason to have your injections there.

You will not be disappointed if you move to Terry White in Harvest Lakes shops in Atwell.

If I could give more stars, I would!

The app’s functionality is limited

User friendly and informative when using one particular pharmacy though updated information is at times tardy.

When I have tried using the application with another pharmacy while away the staff are generally not interested in the information on the app.

It would also help if a person’s safety net information was included.

Wish I started using this app ages ago, keeping track of repeats is a lot easier now and a simple press of the button to order scripts followed by a text to let you know when they are ready makes life easier

Be very wary

I was told TW were no longer using the medadvisor app & I needed to install this one. No problem there, but now this app has run me out of meds by not alerting me to low quantity. I have now discovered that all my med quantities are incorrectly entered, so I have had to manually correct them myself. Just as well I am IT literate, God help some of your customers. I also checked my wife's app, to find that her meds weren’t even being tracked! I think this is a very poor show, considering the possible consequences of this. Not a good look for TW in my opinion, & I think some more thorough in-house training of staff is required. Also, as of this morning, when I try to log in, the app just crashes & closes, yet it is supposed to run on my iPad! The app is gradually improving lol. It shows I have no meds at all when I open it on my ipad but they show up ok on my iphone! It continues to run me out of meds by not alerting me to low quantities! Condescending answers from customer support are totally useless!

THE BEST!

Terry White Pharmacy at Coorparoo is without doubt the VERY BEST PHARMACY I ever use. Believe me I know, because I’ve had a lot of health dramas in the past decade and I have needed more care and patient management than a normal customer at a pharmacy. TW Coorparoo are always very friendly. The staff all know me and the chemists are familiar with my extensive file and my health problems. This means I feel very well cared for and respected every time I need medicine. I never feel cross examined or peppered with irrelevant interrogation like what happens in some other pharmacies because Terry White takes the time to know their customer. Also surprisingly, their prices are excellent even though that’s not a major motivating factor for me.

If that’s not enough, the absolute clincher is their use of technology. Their medicine dispensing machine “CONNIE” and script processing system is best in class. I’ve never seen another pharmacy with anywhere near the efficiency and excellence of service like this one when buying script medicine - I’m sure you’ll agree if you get your scripts there.

In addition TWC has well trained staff at every level and a dedicated Nurse for vaccinations and a booking system to ensure everything can be done efficiently and on time. I’m happy to provide a five star review and because I ALWAYS receive 5 Star service. MARTY BREEN - COORPAROO

The App was closing when you open it and it logs you in, you uninstall it and reinstall it, login and it works fine for a couple of times, then it plays up again.

Best Terry White Team On The Planet!

Our Kingscote pharmacy team is just so helpful and caring - with the addition of Click and Collect in the Terry White App we can now order in advance and pick up quickly, which makes such a difference for me as I have mobility problems that make shopping and waiting very difficult.

This team are so wonderful they sometimes even see us parking in front of the shop and bring the order out to us at the kerb!

Staff and service

The staff at Terry Whites Gawler are fabulous very kind and very helpful which us oldies appreciate very much. I have been going there for many years and will continue to do so. They have been very kind and offering medication to be delivered to home in special packs. Right now I am able to order on line and pick up my medication. However one day I may be unable to and request that wonderful service. All my family go to TW in Gawler. A big thank you to the Chemists and the wonderful bright and helpful staff. Terrible

You can’t order your NDSS products like you could on the old one… So glad I still have that version so I’m going to use that still… I only installed this one because I asked about the guardian 4 and was told this version might have them listed… But this version has no NDSS items at all… I think in this day and ages that was the worst decision ever made.

I hate the new app… I’m going back to the old one it still seems to work as I ordered yesterday and got my item’s tonight.

Hate it.

I hate this app, the one they had before this was so much better.

Can’t order any of the NDSS stuff on here instead you have to try and order through the comments section and they rarely read the comment section. I’ve been told I have to call to order NDSS but isn’t the whole point of this app to conveniently order everything you need?!

Also keeps each script separately in no order, so if you happen to have a multiple scripts for the same medication you have to keep scrolling to try and find each script and work out which one you should be using, perhaps if they at least put them in alphabetical order it would make it a little easier.

Overall a really clunky, poorly thought out app.

Ok, but needs NDSS integration

Migrated from MedAdvisor as was advised Terry White was ending its use of MedAdvisor. They transferred my active scripts across, although naturally lost any script history. The main problem I have so far is not being able to order diabetic supplies. I try adding notes to request the necessary products be added and quote my NDSS number, but so far nobody looks at the notes and I have to waste time in store waiting for the pharmacist to get them when I’m collecting my pre-ordered and paid scripts.

Missing feature take-my-meds

I have been happily using the old app for years. I was encouraged to upgrade to myTWC when I went to collect my click-and-collect prescription last week, so did upgrade and deleted the old one from my iPad.

Now, I’m disappointed as I relied on the take-my-meds reminders for a tablet that has to be at a certain time as a nudge when I am not concentrating on the time. This feature seems not to be here yet, and I valued that. Is there a timeline for adding missing features?

Terrible

Each time we’ve added a new script for the same medication, it’s created a whole new medication in the app instead of rolling over. Some medications belonging to my family were listed in my profile instead of theirs, but this has been ‘fixed’ now apparently because all medications for my whole family are now listed under my name, which is extra confusing as some of us take the same medications so I have no way being able to see who has how many repeats left. And really bizarre numbers for “days left” of the medication- like I filled a script for 30 tablets and the app told me I had something like 178 days supply left. I miss MedAdvisor.

Needs so much work

I love this idea but the app is not fully realised and needs so much work. It’s very buggy. Assorted scrolling doesn’t work. I get text reminders but the link doesn’t work. Staff at the Pharmacy don’t know it works. I can’t click through to past orders to see what I purchased. Doesn’t record reward points properly. It keeps reminding me to buy scripts from long ago and won’t let me remove them from my list. I could go on. It’s getting to the point where I just won’t bother unless some rapid improvements occur.

A step backwards

The old generic app while at times clunky, but was functional.

This new TWC version was nothing but problematic from the start. It wouldn’t accept my old password (requirements have changed) and sent me in a loop with saying I had no account with my email address then when I finally got it to recognise the address and attempting to update the password it went into the same loop.

Eventually I got it sorted, but find the interface not as intuitive as the previous version, which worked fine on both my iPhone and iPad, filling the screen in both and working in synch with each other.

Now I find that it works on one device but not the other and it no longer fits the iPad screen? Not great, considering moving back to physical management of my scripts.

Missing Element

The app is amazing and it looks nice and modern and I know the team has put a lot of effort into it.

However, there’s one key thing that I find is missing from the app and that’s the ability to link my NDIS so that I might order myself some diabetic supply’s this is a great feature of the old app because it made things easy. I could order my whole inventory of medications and diabetic supply’s that I needed and pick it up but now it’s missing.

I beg you to please modify the app to allow this because I don’t want to have to use two apps one for diabetics and one for general medicine

Great medications app

This app makes seeing and ordering my meds very easy, sign up was quick and I like the sms reminders. Seeing my orders on the home screen is useful. I’d like to add my kids’ scripts as well and order everything at the same time which my pharmacist told me is coming soon.

Disappointing

Previous version worked well. Then it was updated and deleted my history. Several weeks later this is still not resolved. Very stressful.

The new version does not have the intuitive nature of the old one - I can’t check orders after they go through and have to go into the Chemist each time see where things are at which defeats the purpose of using the app.

I think I’ll have to go back to paper scripts. Cannot recommend this.
