Average app from a long timer user
I’ve had this app for a while now and thought I’d try using it for a long trip (7-9hours long). Only to end up with the past 1 hour of trip missing… thanks you very much

Inside the Trip Log you can check the trip on the map, see the speed, average speed, maximum speed, distance, total time and the detailed speed graph. Don't want to get lost in all the trips you have? Just name them the way you like. Want to share your driving experience or just compare your every day trips? With Trip Computer it’s easy as A, B, C.
Export all the trips in available formats (CSV, KML, GPX) or even share with your friends on Facebook, Twitter or via email.
With free version of Speed Tracker only one trip can be saved to the trip log. Subscribers for PRO plan can save unlimited trips.
Trip Computer
Track important trip statistics in real time. Average and Maximum speed, distance covered, moving and stopped time.
Dashboard Display Layout
Designed exclusively for iPad big screen it shows all the important trip information at a glance on a single screen and supports both portrait and landscape orientation. Full screen GPS Navigator Map mode is also available. Landscape mode allows you to mount your device horizontally on your car dashboard. If you prefer seeing things at wider angle then you find new landscape mode especially useful and practical.
Scalable Speedometer Dial
Speed Tracker features unique scalable speedometer dial. Select the maximum possible speed for you vehicle and watch your speed with greater precision either your are on a plain, train, car, bike, boat or bicycle
Statistics
All the aggregated data from the very first trip will be saved in one single place.
Automatic Stop Detection
Automatically identify either you are moving or standing and calculate your average speed basing on that. Generate trip report showing travel and stoppage time separately.

SUBSCRIPTION INFORMATION
Speed Tracker offers a subscription plan that lets you record unlimited number of trips and turn off in-app advertisements
• Payment will be charged to iTunes Account at confirmation of purchase
• Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period
• Account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period, and identify the cost of the renewal
• Subscriptions may be managed by the user and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to the user's Account Settings after purchase
• Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when the user purchases a subscription to that publication, where applicable
NOTE:
Speed Tracker is not compatible with WiFi only iPad or iPod touch.
Continued use of GPS running in the background can decrease battery life.
Data connection is required to see map.

Delete previous Review made a mistake
Please delete previous review. I forgot about the gpx export feature.
But I’d love to see Apple CarPlay added to it. Would help prevent my phone from losing another camera to vibration as I use it on the bike handlebar.

Inaccurate
Very disappointing so far. Digital speedometer reads about 15 kph faster than actual speed.

Crashes constantly
Bought this today, upgraded to get any decent functionality- just constantly crashes. Please give me my money back. Not happy, don’t waste your money ☹️

Max stopping time is misleading
I that that it was the maximum stopping time was when you brake or de-accelerate. In actual fact it means what the max amount of time you stopped in your trip.

Cruising on the French canals, we use this app all day everyday. It just does everything we want and in a very elegant, good-looking way. Best value dollars we have spent on our boat. Wonderful.

Good except for one thing.
Good app but needs the option to disable (bypass) the HUD screen.
I don’t use the HUD and the HUD screen just gets in the way when I’m flicking through the various screens to get to what I want.

Keeps dropping out on bike trails
Love the tracking function and the layout, but speed readout continuously drops out whenever you ride under a tree.

Could be a great app, but....
The speedo section is excellent- accurate and easy to see. The track on a map though is not so good - the track for my trip today shows my Pajero crossing a body of water where no bridge exists! Also shows an "as the crow flies" track whereas my Pajero can neither float or fly. Shame as otherwise it would get a 5 star rating.

Works great on my phone, already used it in my car, cool! Feature with night time heads up display.
Also used it on the pushbike and Traxxass RC car, great feed back and the in app purchases are good prices for what you get. Buy this app if you want good data.

Does not acquire GPS lock
Only very rarely does this version 5.3 acquire GPS lock on an iPhone 6s. Most time lock does not occur and recording of tracks produces no valid data points. If lock does occur, it is only after about 5-10 minutes. Downgraded to ver 5.2.3 and the lock is achieved within 1 minute and tracks are valid.

Use on my iPhone
Currently use this on my iPhone. I have a mini iPhone tank holder that the iPhone is placed into and that then sits on my Harley tank this give me a fairly good idea where I am going and the speed and fuel economy. Let's me fill up and pre plan my trips and commute.

Reasonably good but I found we HUD next to useless due to the fact that the phone screen is highly reflective and it just does not display on the windscreen. The phone screen just isn't bright enough

Easy to use, easy to read!
Great little app, downloaded and upgraded to get moving map etc, worth the money. Accuracy of gps on iPhone 6+ could be a little bit out and the map doesn't swap so that you are traveling to the top of the map as per a dedicated gps/Nav man.! Only thing I can really fault.

Cool app
Works pretty well in my Apple iPad with latest IOS, never checked on iPhone though. Would have been far more better if the display could be reverted so I can have a realtime dynamic speedometer on my windscreen.

Speed tracker
So far guys I have had three versions of this, and ever since I upgraded my iPhone 6 the app does not work, the first one worked for a while but the last one that I put on my phone, does not work.

Enhancements please
I use this app on my motorcycle, so reflecting the HUD off the windscreen is not practical. How about providing the option to reverse the HUD display so it will appear correctly when looking directly at the screen?
Also, when tracking my location on the map, I have to press a button to centre my location when I move off the map, which isn't possible when I'm riding. Is there an option to keep my position centred on the map?

Good App
Used once only but was happy with how it worked. Only thing I would suggest is there be an Auto Pause feature. Often times I would be riding and only realise later on it was still left on Pause. Good App to start with.
