Can't open the app

Best dictionary out there
Seriously a must buy, seldom used but once it is. It really manages to impress. I would highly suggest including a thesaurus as well but so far so good. Worth the extra penny.

Finally, it is useful again!
Thank you for fixing the bug on iPhone 6. The keyboard and dictation buttons were way out of alignments, but it's back to normal now. Awesome works ;-)

Problem with server
I had the same problem with people above. After updated to 6.0, every time I opened the app (or switch back from other apps), the entire app froze a few seconds until three consecutive messages popped up saying 'Error: Problem with server'.
It seems that this problem has been fixed from the server side now, however, I always regard LDOCE as a LOCAL dictionary that I don't need to connect to the internet in order to use it, because I am afraid that I would not be able to use it once I lost the connection.
I always think this is the best dictionary I've ever used, and I use it on a daily basis, so please make sure the server won't have problem again or make the app not try to connect to the server if users don't want to.

NEVER upgrade to version 6 yet!
From the moment I upgraded to 6.0 it is not simply working. It is frozen while checking the server and just spit out “Error. Problem with server!” message box. Great dictionary but rubbish app. I am totally lost now, fix this problem up ASAP!
I wanna go back to the previous version.

I bought this excellent app in 2012. After emailing the support team, I got the updated version activated in no time. All thanks to the quick response from the support team. The new updated version works like a charm on iOS 7. A big thanks!!

As I use iphone 4, the app quit unexpectedly after I updated to a new version!!!! I just bought the app today....

Poor support for upgraded version
I have purchased this application for $31.99 for a long time. Now they provided a new app (LDOCE+) whith the activator for $32.99, and as a owner of the original app, I can not upgrade my app to the new version. they ask me either to buy this app for $32.99 or to buy the activator seperately for $16.99 and in futheure! they can make them to work together. what an offer!!!!!
the customer support is extremely poor. they dont understand that I paid the whole price long time ago, and now I can not upgrade to new version!!!!
the app is great BUT if you want to buy every single new upgraded version of it with this expensive price, or to pay $30+ for each new feature it is your choice.
