Excellent, wonderful, improves my life
I don’t really have much to say other than that I’ve been whittling away at the hundreds of crosswords in here over the past several years and I still haven’t run out. They haven’t gotten repetitive, they’re still challenging, and the app is unobtrusive and doesn’t show me ads or try to sell me things. I often play to help me sleep, and the setting to mark incorrect letters keeps it easy enough that I don’t get stuck, making sure I keep playing until I doze off instead of switching to a doomscroll app. It’s not the dopamine hit of a flashier game, but sometimes something quiet is exactly what you need, and this is that. I’m glad it exists as it does.

Not suitable for all countries
The answers are very North American orientated, for Australia and probably other UK English counties. Some answers are a bit vague, without some guesswork or the occasional reveal they are near impossible to complete.

Each day I do a simple 2 minute crossword, 3 intermediate ones and then one of these. They are more challenging than the other apps and thankfully do not repeat words in multiple puzzles as the other apps do. Good for the brain cells.

While there’s a surprising sprinkling of drug refs throughout this app, it’s proved unbelievably entertaining and unbeatable value. I just finished puzzle 752 and the ability to check entries as you go made for a great cognitive experience. Thoroughly stable. Loved it all.

Whilst the layout is easy to use, clear and uncluttered…it is frustrating when faced with clues that don’t match the words. 🤨Unable to complete the puzzle, one is forced to reveal the word; only to find that the clue doesn’t even match the word. 🤷🏻♀️ Frustrating and disappointing.

Pick this one
If you’re looking for a simple crossword game that’s fun and easy to use, i recommend this one. The layout is clear, uncluttered and easy to read. The clues are also clear, not too cryptic or difficult but not too simple either. Answers provided if you’re stuck, and I like the British translations and cultural undertones. All in all, a fun little puzzler to whittle away the hours and feed the brain at the same time.

Fantastic
I enjoyed the free Puzzles so much that I bought all the packs!! Set for a while.
The puzzles are a good cross of easy to more difficult clues.
I also bought the Cryptic Crossword packs. I am teaching myself those and after playing three puzzles ( with assistance at times) have a much better understanding of what the clues are about.
All are great value for money.

I’m enjoying that the clues are achievable albeit the very very basic premise of this app. Almost refreshing to not have all the annoying & unnecessary bells and whistles most apps have. Nice touch with the fireworks when puzzles are solved. It’s a shame only a handful of puzzles are unlocked in the free version. I haven’t come across how to unlock the next set yet.

Too obscure and lazy
Many of the clues are completely meaningless and too obscure. A good crossword makes you search for the clue, in thinking about the answer. This one is just stupidly difficult and has lazy I’ll-considered clues which make you go to the solve tab. Really annoying, Times Crosswords are much cleverer.

Once you get a word right after you have checked your answers it doesn’t hold the letter there. So it’s flinging random letters all over the place and changing words like no tomorrow. Confusing as all hell when you are down to the final word and it doesn’t let you finish because it’s generated another random letter into an already correct word. There is better apps out there that is for sure!!

Interesting, educational.
I liked it when I purchased the whole thing... I’ve downloaded it onto my iPad & I can't simply restore my purchases, I have to remember passwords & things I did a long time ago & have no chance of accomplishing that! I am a bit sad and frustrated that I can’t go back to what I enjoyed doing on this crossword... playing on and on and on and on.
I hope someone can help me... but I expect little these days.
It’s money before customers generally...& my inability to remember passwords etc., will open the opportunity for the creators of this game to collect again, from me...
If I didn’t look for something else.
I’ll wait till I finish the 3 available crosswords in each pack & see if someone from this gaming enterprise, takes a little pity on a very unwell, rather financially strapped 50yo (birthday last week!) & contacts me to restore what I once purchased a long time ago.
I’ll be lucky to see 52 they say...though, I plan to watch the grandkids grow & teach them the love & brain training of crosswords!!...my 7yo grandson enjoys helping Grandma.

The clues in these crosswords are straightforward general knowledge. Most others are full of name the soap stars, or sports personalities, that are only suitable if you spend all day watching TV. I like this format, well done.
