Wine Cellar Database allows you to customize your wine cellar with total flexibility. Choose from a selection of hundreds of thousands of wines online or load it from your own spreadsheet files or Cellar Tracker. Updated for new iPhone and iPad sizes.

-- This app gives 10 free spaces for 10 unique wines. You purchase extra spaces based on the size of your wine cellar after the initial 10 spaces.

Online search:

-Search from hundreds of thousands of wines online.

-Recommendations from critics and consumers.

Flexibility and Freedom:

-Rearrange, rename and create your own wine categories.

-Sort your cellar by vintage or name in ascending or descending order

-Duplicate wines.

-Search wines multiple filters e.g.( Red wines + wines made in France).

-Arrange cellar row information how they are arranged and shown. e.g. location, row number, vintage, etc.

Photos:

-Add infinite number of photos to a single wine at any resolution.

-Pinch and zoom all your photos in full screen mode.

International Support:

-Auto detects your currency, and allows currency changes.

-Text support for all languages and special characters.

Transfer:

-Dropbox transfer between iPhones and iPads .

-Import and export wines to and from your spreadsheet files created by Excel or from wine website like Cellar tracker.

Statistics:

-Real time calculation of all bottles and total valuation of your cellar.

-In any category there is a break down of the wines according to the values in the category. (Eg. "current market value" will break down the wines according to the prices).

Purchases Permanent:

-In-app purchases bought on any iPad or iPhone are available for your other iPads or iPhones when you install this app on them.

Excellent app

This app was pretty much exactly what I was looking for to keep records of my wines. I love the filtering and grouping, allowing me to search my collection by any category. Customisable so you see the info you want to see. I created a field for “location” so I know where to find the wine, meaning I don’t have to search through my collection to find what I want. My only criticism would be that the online search only finds about half or less of the Australian wines I buy. But, other than that, I love this app and use it frequently.

This app has great potential- and using Dropbox makes it even more useful. I only wish there was more info in the online database-

Great App

This app seems to have all I need to manage my cellar. I am switching from my Mac based program to a mobile platform up loading a csv file was easy, once I sorted the needed categories. I like the customising aspect so that I can see just what is useful to me and sort by any category. Response to my enquires was quick and to the point. Early days as I am working through the program but so far very happy

Not bad

App works as advertised and is very handy for organising a cellar. As I drunk my wine over time I think more useful note sections would be great. I had much trouble importing my full cellar list with a previous version so I am happy that the csv import works better. Still not too impressed with the search function. Not enough wineries and wines recognised. Also there are too many non officials wine names in the list.

Customisable Wine Cellar

Fully featured wine cellar database. You can add your own additional information fields and import data from existing desktop cellars. This is a great feature.

Lots of report screens which provide useful slices of information about your wine.

Even has access to web information to allow easy setup of new stock etc.

I considered setting up an app for my own purposes, but found this which more than satisfies my need.

Not a nice way of selling the app.

The app is comprehensive enough, though not perfect. No app can be, but to sell the app for $0.99 without telling us that that is only for 10 wines in my Celler, is bordering misrepresentation!

After wasting close to an hour feeding in information, a pop up tells me that I need to keep buying more space beyond 10 wine entries is such a con! I am writing off the 99cents and will not use it anymore. If only you were more upfront.

App crashes

App looks good and worked well when I entered 2 wines; very flexible layout. Unfortunately when I entered a few more wines the app crashed every time. Also it is not clear if there are any limits on cellar size without in app purchases.
