Love this game. Gives a scrabble like experience that can be played one to one or in teams. Also, you are able to choose a character and dress them as you like. You can earn coins so don’t need to buy them, and NO ADS. Love it.

I think this is far the best word game in the App Store . Loving the colours the whole interactive feature . I am addicted for almost 14 years now . Never get sick of it ! Only suggestion would be to think of more gears and more levels pls . Thank you creators

Just love this game. Only problem is that at times I get some useless letters and it's really hard to form a great word. My sister (overseas) gets some really big ones guess she must be using lots of hints and bombs. There are some awesome players here but I will keep trying as I just love word games. Thanks to whoever created this game. Just can't get enough of it. Also love to play with chumbots. Sometimes I get lucky and win against Martin and Smokey.

Exceptional game.
Been playing for well over 8 years and still addicted. I meet people from USA and UK generally. When great words come up and you can’t play them is so frustrating. The dictionary’s limited, but still, it’s a game and I lose mostly but I don’t care.

I really love playing this game I love the. Little characters and how the move and react to different things. I love the way the letters light up when they make a word so you don't waste so much time having to send the word only to find out its not a word. I also love the hints and help you get and the different costumes and characters you can use.

This app is great. Many hours of mind wrenching fun trying to beat the chum bots. The ability to scrabble with friends is also great. Would be great if the dictionary sources were a bit more reliable - some words I know exist weren't recognised. Otherwise no issue.

What’s with these *****
Why are certain words being replaced with ***** ? I couldn’t even say the word “Hate” because it was replaced with **** these. This game has changed so much since I started playing in 2012…..One of my players was telling me about her medical problem, and what she said was replaced with ********, Why? Rather a pleasant game. I enjoy the word challenges with friends and the option to send messages. I find it strange the the conversations are censored, particularly for the choice of words which get blanked out during messaging. Apparently "CAMERA" is a suspicious word, and I've had several words blanked out, quite mundane words. Got around that by putting spaces between the letters - c a m e r a - only to find that using that method only works once and then c a m e r a also gets turned into ******

Love Word Chums
Love this game and the opportunity to individualize my chum. Just wish it worked out a little cheaper to buy the good gear. Transitioning to retirement I'll just have to do without the trendy gear. Enjoy the fun and rivalry with my fellow chums as we vie for placing so each week. Recently I have found the new addition of banners that state the obvious very annoying which is why I have changed my rating from 5 to 4 stars.

Excellent game!! Luv the Challenge. More chances of scoring big than the regular Scrabble. You can choose who you play with e.g. friends or family and the game can select a rival for you too.

I’ve been playing this game for about 2 years now and have made friends with so many people from around the world. While we play we chat and I find that really interesting and rewarding. The other aspect of the game is that it really is exercise for the brain. Another good thing is that I can play with my family and friends and we keep in touch a lot more and exercise our brains at the same time.

A very engaging game that is preferable to "Words with Friends" and "Scrabble". The characters and extra objects to buy with game coins are a big plus. The chat function makes things more personal. It works. It is fun and I am playing 40 games simultaneously - which is possible due to time zone differences. To add to what I wrote in the past - I stopped playing years ago and have just come back in 2021 and am happy to be there.

Word Chums is a very addictive game. It accepts some strange words and rejects others that have common usage but it is still my favourite scrabble type game. Instant reinforcement, hint usage and your stats compared to friends are all great gimmicks. Highly recommend it but it is time wasting!!

So much more fun than Words, this game is great! Only problem is all the unacceptable words it allows, you need to remove words if they dont have a dictionary definition as they shouldnt be accepted
Also the gear stops around level 40, we want exclusive gear to work towards that’s only able to be worn by chums on levels over 40!

This game is tops! It’s dictionary is forgiving and don’t compare it to scrabble because yes there are similarities but it’s more fun to play!
Levels are easy to get to and upgrading your avatar is very funny and cute!

I love the game and I have chatted with someone from NY but some of the words are ridiculously strange, words you,ve never heard of and even when you click for explanation still don,t seem right. Should be regular words commonly used.

Fun & interesting game. Only disappointment is with the hints. I have a higher rate of beating the hint, often in different spot, than the suggestion. Bit slack seeing we have to buy the hints.
