RAIDEN LEGACY, a four-title compilation of the mega-popular RAIDEN arcade series, includes RAIDEN, RAIDEN FIGHTERS, RAIDEN FIGHTERS 2 & RAIDEN FIGHTERS JET. Originally developed by Seibu Kaihatsu, each of these classic scrolling shooters has not only been authentically recreated for mobile, but also enhanced with brand-new features!

frozen
when fighter launches at the start of a new game it is frozen and remains so for at least 5 seconds, in which time usually you lose a life, very frustrating, please fix

Masterpiece
Best shooter from past ever. Brings back many memories of 1990 in the arcades when it first came out. And to think one day I would own this iconic game on my iPhone a dream come true. Use to be 60 cents a game or a dollar for two games and now after buying it I play as much as I want.

False advertising.
The game’s screenshots DO NOT represent the product. About half the screen is taken up by oversized buttons you cannot remove that could easily be made smaller if the developers actually put through an update. Do not buy this. It does not match the screenshots.

Stupid screen controls
Dumb decision to make the screen like that. Seriously. Tryed a few times to play. Waited for it to be changed. Nothing happens, so deleted app. Let me know when it’s been fixed. Yes fixed because it’s broken, you broke it

Not customised for iphone 11 pro max
The screen is too small, and the buttons for the fire, bomb and pause button is occupying like half of the screen. Please fix this asap.

Big buttons?
Why do the pause, bomb and ammo buttons take up the entire screen?! Shouldn’t they be in the bottom left hand corner? I can’t find any option to shrink them either so I’m playing with this huge translucent icons covering the screen. Never had this problem before on my old phone...

Retro is best.
Simply the best. Nothing beats those golden oldies. I don't even touch my PS4 much. Classic gaming is where it's at. I'm a 90s kids I miss the awesome classic. This game is even better now with touch controls. Beautiful on iPad. Through you should add controller support for those that want it. Release more arcade classics please with gamecentre achievements and additional bells and whistles.

Trip down memory lane
Raiden was one of my favourite arcade games growing up and this is a perfect reproduction. I only wish more arcade games like this were brought to the iPad.

No Mfi controller support.
Absolutely fantastic game, but completely horrible controls. You have to touch the screen to use. This completely takes you out of the game.
I have other games on the label with Bluetooth controller support.
I own a NES30 Pro and it works with r-type but not this.

The best vertical shooter!
This is my all time favourite arcade game. Can't believe that a perfect arcade version is available for iOS! Brilliant! This has to be the best vertical shooter ever made. I would have been over the moon with just the original version but to get the whole series... WOW! This the way gaming should be. Thanks to all those involved.

Too Fast
This game is so fast it's almost unplayable. I'd like to see the pace of the original arcade game emulated. Please fix in the next update. A 5 star game otherwise.

Highly addictive!!
I was so happy to see Raiden on the ipad, and I'm not disappointed having now played for several hours. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is the utterly stupid idea of a credit system, meaning you only get X amount of lives, depending on the game mode. Surely the training mode could have been unlimited. I did pay $6.50 and I'm not a 12yo boy trying to get a high score. This is something I'd like to see added to the game. Other than that, this game is an excellent reproduction and I like the ability to adjust the speed of your touch movement on screen. That makes it easier to set it to suit your style if play.

To make this collection complete would to include Raiden DX- I absolutely love this version... I spent do much money at the arcades playing this!

I agree with a lot of people, that the game is just way to fast. Plus adding a tilt function to the game rather than using your finger for the controls would be ideal.

Seriously addictive
Been playing this for a few months now. At first its hard on phone can't see with ya fat fingers though it does take awhile to get used to, have finally unlocked phase 1 stage. Practice and you'll get better at it. Wish with easy mode it would be best we could save our games, double tap to drop bombs or shake. Overall i love this game play it everyday trying to get higher scores unlock stages. But missing some hidden ships from the original RF JET.

Great old school game just how I remember, other reviews say this game is too fast well just go to options and slow the speed down, if you can't handle the pace then get out of the kitchen! Great sound fx and nice music, well worth the money!!

Great ports of Raiden & the Raiden Fighters trilogy, technically. But the touch screen of an iPhone doesn't come close to matching the level of precision control offered by a good game pad or joystick, which these games need to be played the way they were meant to be.

New update Terrible!
The new update makes the game worse! Way way too fast - even on easy. Please fix properly. Just make the game run at normal speed and slow down the enemy's bullets

Great games ruined by poor emulation
Awesome games but they don't run properly. As mentioned by other reviews, game appears to be sped up but at the same time there is insane lag when there is too much action on screen. Music cuts out aswell. Touch controls not precise enough. Games are still playable but honestly deserve an update to make the game smoother.

Great raiden arcade game but it could be better with motion sensor, that way ur thumb is not covering the unseen shots and enemies
