FOR BEGINNERS
- Select 2 folders to synchronize.
- Select the synchronization mode, or use the default mode. You do not need to worry about other settings, they are set to the recommended.
- Click the "Sync current task" button and your folders will be synchronized!
FOR PROFESSIONALS
- 9 sync modes (In-App Purchases, two sync modes for free).
- 6 file comparison modes allow to synchronize files on the storage devices with different file systems.
- Synchronization of files with all attributes (timestamps, tags).
- Synchronization of subfolder attributes (timestamps, tags).
- Ability to select what package types synchronize as files, and which as folders.
- You can transform the app to the convenient file manager using powerful filters for files and folders.
- Synchronization over the network.
- Protection for unauthorized disconnect storage devices (folders) during synchronization.
- Keeping the last/all versions of files to be deleted. Using this mode, you can always restore deleted files, even if folders have synchronized several times.

I use this to sync a large Photos directory between two Macs. It works flawlessly. Set it up and forget it.

Syncing files
Solves keeping track of a large number of files to enable multiple backups on different cloud services. Still finding better uses and variants.

Neatly solves an issue bridging a NAS into a Google Drive via a Mac. Keeps things updated very nicely.

Best back up app that I had tried!!
By far this is the best back up solution for me, my need is pretty simple as I only need to make a mirror back up of one folder that contains all of my photos and videos (over 200 Gbs) to an external hard drive. I have try a bunch of different apps (was thinking of trying rsync and automator but seems too complicated for me) before I stop as this great Sync Folder app, back up speed is high and configuration is simple enough for normal user like me can use with ease. I reckon I would upgrade to pro version to back up all of my others data and from others's reviews, I reckon it worth it ($12.99 is weigh cheaper than other competitors).
Highly recommend to ppl who need a good sync and back up solution!!

So slow to add the first folder it's unusable
When you drop your first aka 'SRC' directory onto Folder A in the app you're greeted by a beachball of death, which is still going and it's 5 minutes~ in on my top-custom-specced out iMac 5k....
I'm assuming its doing some analysing of the files within the folder but it should warn the user that it's going to lock up etc.. so you know what to expect.
Kind of guessing this is going to go on until it annoys me so much I force kill it and go back to using rsync and friends...
