I know it’s supposed to be a safe guard, but you should be able to choose whether to have it or not. Show that it’s a thing, but don’t force people to have it installed for 7 days. 2/5

The scroll location isn’t cached so when you go back to the store homepage from viewing a games store page the store page reloads making you lose your previous place on the page

I’m currently experiencing an issue where the option of uploading a profile image is there however when I click it, it doesn’t allow me to upload an image, fixing this would be wonderful because I have an image I’d like to use however I have no way of being able to transfer it from my phone to my Pc, please take your time with this, it’s not extremely needed

Will frequently not notify you about new chat messages

But got damn it’ll buzz your phone for every one of the 14 messages someone spams you in a row if it does decide to let you know at all. When most chat apps will stop after 3.

Oh and ofc never misses a beat when letting you know about sales.

Steam is ironically competing against itself. The PC version has navigation in discussions whereas the app only has search which is pretty useless. I can’t browse the workshop and information relevant to me does not exist there, but does on the PC version.

The app should lean toward personalisation and social, not just be a store where I can’t use any purchase on my mobile device anyway. The UI doesn’t make any of this useful. It’s just the usual Steam content regurgitated on an app.

It also looks like it was developed in 2005.

Also, the UI works for PC not mobile, needs a completely different look and feel.

Maybe Steam need to stand up a proper agile mobile dev team, seems like one doesn’t exist right now.

Avoid this app at all costs. I’m locked out of my account because for some reason I though using the Mobile Authenticator would be a good idea - wrong!!!! I’m now locked out and having to provide more information to steam about myself than my own bank asks of me!! This is despite having my own user name and password for steam correct and able to access my email address for recovery codes etc. Unbelievable. This issue has arisen as the app itself won’t give me the authenticator codes I need to log in. In other words, everything is pinned on me getting an authentication code from the app, and that code never comes through because the app is broken. Extremely frustrating.

Annoying that this app is necessary for 2FA. How about allowing us to use Google authenticator instead of this rubbish?

Little bugs littered everywhere, weird typos, it STILL doesn’t properly remember your login so you have to keep logging in every time you open the app (even when you just want to look at the page for a game it AUTOMATICALLY OPENS in the app and forces you to log in to see it)
