Description

Designed for anybody owning one or more vehicles (cars, motorcycles, etc.), Gas Manager allows you to create a detailed dashboard with your fuel consumption, your gas expenses and the miles you have traveled.

For each vehicle, input your fill-ups in a matter of seconds, and keep track of the evolution of several parameters in different ways (overview, graphs or lists):

- gas consumption

- gas price

- mileage per month

- cost of gas per mile/kilometer

- mileage per gallon/liter

- mileage per euro/dollar/etc.

A carbon footprint can also be calculated, depending on the vehicle’s consumption. You will thus be able to assess the total mass of carbon dioxide (CO2) it produces, as well as the average value per day and per kilometer traveled.

Gas Manager also allows all these data to be exported and sent by e-mail directly from your iPhone as a CSV file (comma separated values, which can be opened and processed by Excel or any other spreadsheet program), should you feel the need to create your own personalized statistics.

You are able to input your fill-up history either manually or by importing a CSV file.

Gas Manager also provides you with a Tools section, which enables you to geolocate your current position or your parking spot in a single click, so you can easily go back there later using a GPS guiding function or Google Maps. This tools section can also help you find various services around your location: gas stations, garages, restaurants, hotels and others.

The application automatically adapts itself to the units of measurement effective in your country: miles or kilometers for distances, and gallons, liters or KWh (electric vehicles) for fuel.

Freemium version, limited to 10 fill-ups by vehicle. Integrated purchase (IAP) unlocks unlimited fill-up creation.

Universal application with full resolution support for iPad.

I’ve been using the app on 4 cars for 2 years and think it’s great. I did a consumption analysis using different octanes on the same vehicles to check the kilometre value & it was really helpful. Charting is great too. I think it’s just really good to make you aware of fuel cost & makes me want to drive more efficiently to save money. Great App.

Gas manager review

This is truly a great app. I have been using it regularly for a number of months with three vehicles. It does what is claimed, doesn't crash and it's easy to export and import csv files. I would give it six stars if it had the capability to give the details of each vehicle for each calendar year.

Rating update December 2019. After many years of using this app I’m still very happy with it. I hope the developers continue to keep this app maintained.

GREAT useful tool.

Works well. Love the feature where an intermediate top off can be added and annotated as a "partial fill keeps track of consumption till the next FILL event. Very handy indeed. I do a lot of off road driving in all sorts of environments and I can proceed knowing very accurately what my consumption will be.

Excellent app, the only limitation being it resides on one device. It’s a pity it can’t be used across iphone and iPad with cloud sync - unless there’s something I’m missing.

Great app. Does the job. Easy to use

The app works well, presents the info clearly and allows export of data. Being of that age that now requires reading glasses, i particularly appreciate the clear design with large enough text that i can operate it without digging out the specs unlike some other apps.

After using this app for 10 purchases of petrol I was asked to pay for the app. I was quite happy to do this as the app is very handy and easy to use. I only hope that this app is updated thereby being able to be used for a long time to come. Thanks developers - don’t forget to update. Cheers

Hidden down the bottom of the app description it says 10 free fill ups, it's not mentioned in the app until you use it 10 times, then you must pay the $6 to buy the app to continue to use it.

Not happy with their sales method of getting you hooked then getting you to pay to continue to use it when at a glance it appears to be a free app.

I won't be buying it, I will use free way of keeping track of consumption (it's not that hard!)

Impressive

This app is the best thing since sliced bread. It is accurate and allows you to keep track of fuel expenditure and mileage especially when travelling for months with a caravan in tow. Definitely helps to budget.

Use this all the time for both my cars. Very accurate if info filled in correctly. Pitl you couldn't add a location to where you fill up. Sometimes on a long trip yo forget. Maybe an idea for a later version.
