Log out??

Why does the app log me out after a certain number of days? It isn’t a bank account or anything requiring high security:)

App does not always open on the correct day. It can sometimes be still showing yesterday’s reading and will not update.

Please fix it! I love the app but it keeps crashing!!

Great but needs fixes

I use the app everyday. I was going to give it 5 stars but one less because it needs some bug fixes:

- When opening the daily reflection the app freezes for 10-20s

- When switching between the reflection and the insight the app crashes

- The app asks for my login when I already have logged in so I close the app and open it and it seems to work

- The image and verse do not appear at the bottom of the reflection to “tap & share”

Quotes

I have used this app for years and shared to Facebook the little pictured quotes at the end but now that box appears to be empty. I deleted the app thinking it was my phone doing that and reinstalled it but now it’s even worse all the previous ones have disappeared. So disappointed.

App freezes when launched

This problem never used to happen to me but of late whenever I launch the app on my iPhone it will freeze for at least a minute before it works. Same goes after I’ve read the passage and return to the app it again freezes before it works. I now use the web version as the app glitch is frustrating

When you open a devotion it freezes for 30 seconds before you can use it.

Grey boxes

I absolutely love this app but haven’t been able to use it for months because it keeps crashing. My home screen shows up as grey boxes and I haven’t been able to click on the daily readings even though the app is the latest version. Please fix it as I would love to use it again. God bless!

Needs updating

Since the latest IOS update, the current version locks and you are unable to scroll up or down through the daily devotional. Please update for compatibility.

Thank you for this app love to be able to book mark daily readings love the ability to share with friends have been using hard copy for 30 years and now I have the privilege of reading it on line. I am continually bless by these daily devotions and the bible readings

Great App but new update not linking bible correctly

This is a great App. We have been using it since it came out.

The latest update is not linking to Bible Gateway correctly.

I get the previous days bible reading or at least the same book. E.g. Today should go to Ephesians 4 but it went to Matthew 4 and the previous day it went to 1 Corinthians 11 Instead of Matthew 11.

Also it is opening to the whole bible so you have to remember what the last verse was.

I am using an IPad Air 2 with IOS 10.

Audio not working

Every time I click the link for the days' bible verse it opens to a new window and the audio doesn't work. I never had that problem with the previous version. Can you please fix it?

Used to be great

With this update; everything I had downloaded disappeared, it stopped opening the readings in my bible app (instead it uses an Internet page which is much slower,) and it's harder to find previous issues. I had just started to really get into reading and enjoying ODB, and now I can hardly use he app any more. Very disappointed.

Please fix

Before the update I was able to switch to the Biblegateway link while listening to the audio reading, but now the audio stops when I touch the link.

Otherwise I love the new layout and update.

I can't remember how long I have been reading Our Daily Bread in the booklet form but I am absolutely thrilled with your ap. My iPad is the first thing I reach for with my morning coffee and before downloading the electronic version of ODB it was bothering me that I wasn't giving God my first fruits. Now I not only give God my first fruits but I am learning so much from your "Insight" segments. Thank you so very much. Keep up the good work.

Great but not working well at the moment

Ive been using your app every morning before work over the past few months. Unfortunately in the past months, the recordings are incorrect and they tend to just repeat recordings that were played at earlier dates. I tried listening to the readings on the internet site but encountered the same problem. Hopefully this will be corrected soon so that i can continue with daily devotionals.

Very worth it!

I use this app daily. It's been such a good buy. The content is not usually 'heavy', and is often insightful & memorable. I recommend reading the daily devotions (or listening to them) every morning. Doing so has been so worthwhile to me. This is an app that keeps on giving! This app is easy to use & works perfectly on both iPhone & iPad.

I am really loving this great little daily devotion but please can you add the ability to lock the screen in portrait mode? Then I can read it while lying on my side without it swinging to landscape mode. Thanks!

Great!

Now my whole family has a copy of our daily bread. And we can read it anywhere, anytime. Would be excellent if it doesn't need to connect to the net to access bible verses but I can always go to my bible app anyways.

Would be 5 stars if you were able to link to a bible on your handheld rather than have to link to the net. Not so good if you only have wifi or are in a bad reception area.

Free?

This app doesn't do much yet. It's just a web clip app that shows the website content. However I bought it to make a donation essentially.

My suggestion is make it free like the other magazine and the ODB content free and build more into it. Then make some content donation enabled like you do with the day of discovery site...

The other thing is that apple take 30% of your app purchases. I prefer to donate thru your site. Can you please add paypal support to your donations?

Thanks for the all the work that gets put into the RBC ministries web sites. I am one of the many that get encouraged by it. :)
