But don't worry! Instructions are constantly scrolling across the screen. Just enter whatever chemical readings you prefer using any test kit you own, and Pool Doctor will tell you exactly what chemicals to put into your pool and why.

With Pool Doctor, you can adjust the chlorine, bromine, salt, pH, total alkalinity, calcium hardness, and even the cyanuric acid levels in all of your pools. You can even configure the ideal ranges and chemicals used to treat the pools (see screenshots).

Pool Doctor gives all results and explanations in pounds, ounces, grams, kilograms, liters, gallons, or even in the number of scoops (you can enter custom scoop sizes); and changing units is as easy as pressing a button! This app supports regular, salt-water, or even bromine pools.

Pool Doctor now saves basic reading and treatment records for all of your pools!

Pool Doctor only shows you readings that apply to your pool type, so there is no unnecessary confusion!

Pool Doctor will now calculate the Langelier Index automatically if you take all of the required readings!

Pool Doctor now includes a shock calculator! Just enter the free and total chlorine levels, and Pool Doctor will automatically calculate how much of your preferred shock chemical is necessary to bring your pool to breakpoint chlorination.

Great for new pool user

Great app, really helps me manage main pool chemicals as I’m new to it all. Would be better if there was additional information on how to optimise/utilise other chemicals such as ‘sunblock’ or calcium hardness, etc. User enters chemicals used & it offered recommendations.

Improvement always welcomed

I originally gave this a 2 star but have since found that it does indeed display required chemicals in metric. Good show! Four stars it is!

I have only just started to use it, but it does look like it will fill my need to know how much and of what to put into my pool to keep it sparkling and healthy.

Top app! Yet another one of those ideas I'm sure I had years ago as a great app idea! Oh yeh sure !! You all say ,, aaaah forget it! No, really though really top app with 'made simple' techniques, this one follows through on that great idea!

Pool Doctor v1.3

Calculations don't work for metric. Wasted my money. Don't buy until this is fixed.

Not suitable for Australia

The app looks good, but it doesn't allow you to work in metric. Some recommended chemicals aren't ones commonly used in Australia (muriatic acid)
