You have medicare rebate as 85% and it’s 75% for in-patient services so you can’t accurately bill or estimate fees

Originally brilliant but now unstable. (Original title - Small bugs but otherwise brilliant!)
Original review below- since iOS 13, completely unstable and in-useable. Crashes after less than 10 seconds every time.
Great free app for CMBS codes. The search feature is great - Recognises commonly used (Ortho) abbreviations to find codes AND will suggest some other related numbers if applicable. Can customise search fields and eliminate those specialties that aren't relevant to your specialty which simplifies searches. Can also input fees for different health funds for each item as well as the app telling you what the schedule fee and AMA recommended fees are. The only major bug is that it will crash from time to time for no apprent reason (on a iPhone 3G). Other than that, a must-have free app for any medico on the move, especially surgical types!

The most amazing and useful MBS app in Australia
This App gives you up to date numbers and insurance details. It allows you to calculate invoices and billing and is a wonderful pocket guide.
No app does this better. The best!

Favourites keep disappearing
Easy app to navigate. Unfortunately I have lost my favourites after the last 2 updates. I contacted the developer but only received an automated response. So not even sure they are aware of it, let alone fixing it.

I especially like the excision algorithm to determine appropriate fee once histology result is available. Saves hours trolling through the MBS schedule!

Good, comprehensive, updated, works with ios8.
Started using it after I Mbs stopped working.
Needs a little bit of better sorting of the categories as they're many and can get lost easily.
Favorites could be easier to add without needing to write a description.
Overall helpful, could do with some improvements.

MBS search a time saver!
Use this app all the time! Love the ability to photograph attachments and dictate additional notes. Much better than iMBS which is badly outdated. Highly recommend this app.

Good app until the last update version came up
This app is no longer working properly.
I had to delete the iCloud backup information from my iPhone 4 (and lose my favorite billing items) to be able to open the app again.
The items won't change to the private fund amounts when trying to do a multi item calculation.
Please fix this or I'll get a different app.

For those having crash issues on installation:
Try deleting icloud mbs data
settings>icloud>storage and backup>manage storage>mbs search>edit>delete all
delete app, reinstall
you'll lose your favourites tho

This app was previously used daily by me, now it just does not work. I am now using iMBS by cutting edge software which is free and works with no problems.

Yes this was the best MBS app... Until I got my iPhone 5. Now it just doesn't work. Always crashes on start up. Please fix it ASAP!!!! was actually quite a useful app

Very useful. Would help if could mail log book with patient details to secretary for billing purposes. Also, needs to be able to differentiate between GP procedure and Specialist.

Not for GPs
This might work for simple surgical searches but fails miserably on GP consults (looking "level B" brings ups mix of consults and surgical procedures but misses some of the after hours items). It hangs and crashes when navigating the skin procedures menu. There is no listing of fees for visits just the annoying formula. All this disappointment suggests no REAL GP was asked to preview it.

A small number of users are reporting wiping of favourites on upgrade to V1.8. If your favourites list is super important to you: wait for the next version coming soon.
We're working of a fix for this recurring bug.
The good news is we've added loads of new search terms, so finding your favourites again will be a little easier. Glass half full anyone?

- interactive program - love the fact that it "learns"
- crashed the first time i used it but was ok on subsequent use
