Excellent app!! Secure and makes logging in so simple!
I really love this app. It makes me feel that all my passwords are so secure. But what I really love is every time I have to enter a password to login to something, LastPass is there to do it for me! So seamless across all my devices too.
Highly recommend and very easy to add new passwords too

Great app … until you try to link a work and personal account
I would have left this feedback for the developers but I can’t, because feedback and support requires me to be log in on the web … and “federated” business login is not available on mobile web.
A few years ago, my work started using Lastpass for social logins. Great, I thought, I’m already a user and it’s a nice simple password manager.
But ever since that moment I regularly lose access to all my hundreds of *personal* passwords - which I need ALL THE TIME - and which remain in a personal account that gets “linked” to the work one. That link constantly breaks and is incredibly buggy to re-establish and god help you if (as just happened) you’re away from work, and there’s an update that boots out of LastPass on ALL YOUR DEVICES, and you have to log back in and try to get the linked account to work on a mobile.
I just lost an afternoon trying to get it to work. I can’t get support because I can’t log in on mobile web. The whole situation is cooked.
It’s a good password manager just for one person. But the business / personal linking system is unusably flaky - and while I’m here, the functionality of “sharing” a password (eg with a family member) is also buggy and almost never works properly.
So I suggest ONLY using this app if you are just using it for yourself on a personal account. Everything else has given me grief.

Completely ineffective reset password process
After using LastPass for several years I updated my password…which I entered twice. For some reason the new password doesn’t work…and the reset password process doesn’t work getting stuck in a loop of sending emails with a link that fail to open, “try another browser”. No ability to contact a support team to reset either. So thats the end of LastPass for me. What a schlimazel.

The new standards for a Master password will make that Ii can’t even get into my own app! Even by following all the required rules, it still won’t accept the Master password. Who’s password is it - mine or yours?? Deleted app. Bye.

Just all bad. A password company which gets hacked
App signed me out because I needed to update my MFA? Ok. But I can only do that on a computer / browser. Greeeat.
So 15 mins of stuffing around to reset master password, completely new MFA, multiple emails confirming that I allow my (previously registered) mobile device to use the app, master password again to enable Face ID.
Without any explanation as to why?
Oh and these jokers have had 1 half of the corporate key stolen for all customers because one of their senior devs decided he knew best and had a bunch of corporate code on his desktop, which got hacked. What a joke. Have a google, you’ll see what I mean.
I’ll be off to Keeper later this month, been telling everyone who’ll listen about these guys, but hadn’t had the energy to move my personal account off their app.
I wish to give a heartfelt thank you LastPass devs, for reigniting my hatred for you and your product and encouraging me to move.

Support makes the app/company feel like it’s a scam
I tried to cancel my subscription as I wasn’t happy with how some passwords/accounts are handled for gyms that use the same platform so I cancelled my account but something went wrong so I still paid another year. I tried to contact support but it’s impossible to reach them once your account is deleted as it can only be contacted with an account.
I’m very disappointed as I was a customer for a few years and it seemed with the annual surveys that they would care about people’s opinion but I really don’t understand why a company that wants to be taken seriously and trusted blocks all options to contact them.
Just for that reason I would strongly advise against using LastPass. Especially as I was and still am a paying customer without an account now it would be nice to have a way to contact them.
Definitely don’t recommend the app/service provider.

The worst password manager
Since they got hacked they’ve made their user experience terrible by continually adding friction to the process of logging in. Today it took me 15 mins to log in because they insist on emailing you a check every time you log in, even when it’s from the same device which you’ve already trusted. They also made me reset my 2 factor auth, which I assume means they’ve had that hacked on their side as well.

Review on the paid version of Lass Pass.
Evening fellow computer and I.T & A.I users. If you are reading this review, chances are you looking for a secure, easier to use password vault for all the range of passwords to gain access to these days. Also be able to Auto Launch the application / program from with Last Pass.
All this and more can be achieved by LASS PASS PACKAGE. It will also monitor the ‘quality’ of given passwords and I believe may ‘report’ any illegal attempts by ‘outsiders’ to hack into your system.
Only one MASTER PASSWORD & Full Name is required to gain access to the password vault. Give it a try.
You will not regret it.

If I could give zero stars I would. It is unreliable, it often makes a second file when you change a password (so when you come back after a while, you have to figure out which one is correct), and sometimes, the password is just wrong. It's a debacle, basically.

No support and you can lose all your passwords at once
The app forced me to change my master password and then I forgot it shortly after when it also made me sign out of the app. The restore options did not work. I’ve tried contacting them for support but it’s impossible - they just send you in loops. From reading articles it looks like I now have lost all my passwords and there is no way to recover my account. Such as waste of time and money as I’ve had this account for 5+ years. Just use apple or google instead.

Instructional video does not match Last Pass vault
Video instructs to set up account recovery using SMS. Video pictures LassPass app page which is nothing like current app. Ie Go to VAULT then SETTINGS… my app has two discrete options VAULT ( with no settings) or SETTINGS with no SMS options.

If you forget your master password forget about any kind of recovery support. It is non existent. Recovery email links do not work, you can not contact support for help.

Lacks the sophistication of 1Password.
At a basic level LP does the job and is just fine. 1Password is just a superior user experience, it is better in literally every way. Autofill, pwd generation, sharing, logging, ped management. I have 1pass for personal use and LastPass for work. I prefer 1Password everyday of the week. Imagine the difference between driving a Toyota Camry vs Rolls Royce. Both are safe, equally fast… but you k ow which you’d rather be in.

Many issues with premium
Have many issues with passwords not syncing over devices. Constantly getting notification ‘Un Offline Mode’ with no option to rectify. Also, when using some apps and websites on mobile devices last pass feature does not work which is annoying.
Not sure if it is worth my money to renew my premium subscription. Looking for a better alternative. Support is non-existent.

Account Recovery Options Fail
Incredibly frustrating to be caught in a loop with the account recovery process. It tells me I haven't logged in on browsers with the Lastpass browser extensions - when I absolutely have, on all three. I know, I'll use iOS face ID recovery! Nope - another error message. Only have access to mobile app, lost password and can’t reach help desk through app. Try recovering account, get code sent to phone, enter code - told link is expired or invalid- try multiple times over multiple days - same each time. Unable to contact anyone - any delete account
I want to delete my account, I can’t remember my password and have tried to follow steps to recover but I am not receiving any recovery emails from LastPass and you can’t contact customer support without logging onto the account which I am unable to log into.
Seems so silly that you can’t Any contact customer support. I want to delete my account before it automatically renews and takes my money but seems there is no way to contact support at all! So typical that companies make it so hard to get out, no one to contact when you wan to leave. Please someone contact me.

IOS17 version buggy as hell
I’ve been using this for 5+ years, but the iOS 17 version features a new UI that is as buggy as heck, including:
- Freezes for 5-10s when switching to lastpass from another app to search for a password, every time
- Bombs out after 3-4 s on some pages, without being able to copy out the password
- Sometimes gets confused with multiple accounts on one site, and will return only one set of credentials, despite there being different sets for different lastpass records

Zero Support
I’ve used Lastpass for several years without issue, however due to their upgraded security measures I accidentally deleted the Authenticator login and now I can’t login or get support. Their support tutorials do not work, and I can’t contact support unless I login. There is a support contact button wishing the support articles but they don’t replay. Ive now sent a message to their sales team (as they always want new customers) asking if they can kindly direct their support to help me.
Based on this experience I would recommend you take your business elsewhere as the Lastpass support process is broken.

Continually logging into different sites, trying to ensure digital profiles are safe and different passwords for each site is a breeze with Last Pass. Family sharing is an added bonus. Easy to use, easy to setup easy to maintain. It’s just a terrific product.

Frustrating Experience
I've been using LastPass for a while now, thanks to my work's premium subscription. However, my experience with the app has been quite frustrating. The app has repeatedly forgotten passwords, causing unnecessary hassle. Navigating through the interface feels clunky and far from intuitive, which is a letdown considering how crucial a password manager is.
One of my major concerns is the lack of confidence in the app's ability to keep my passwords safe. Security is paramount when it comes to password management and unfortunately LastPass doesn’t have a good track record for keeping sensitive information safe.
Given the choice, I would definitely opt for another password manager. It's disappointing that a premium subscription doesn't guarantee a smooth and secure experience. I hope LastPass addresses these issues soon, as they significantly impact the user's trust and overall satisfaction.

iOS app fails to update passwords
For some reason, the iOS app fails to update passwords that have been manually changed within the app itself. The app will continue to fill the old password until you close and reopen it, after which the password will update. I did not realise this was happening when i was trying to update my security settings for a particular site. Due to passwords being hidden by default, i did not realise Lastpass was repeatedly feeding in old passwords and I got locked out of the site. This is not an issue of the password being slow to propagate between devices. Everything I’ve described (password change and attempted logins to site) is happening on the same device - an iPhone.
I replicated this error several times by changing a password and then revealing it within the app - only to display the old password. This left me very confused about what had happened. I absolutely hit “save” every time but the changes only appeared after i had closed and reopened the app.
Extremely annoying and a weird oversight for an app that’s meant to be focused on security. This poor user experience, the subscription fee and the 2022 security breach have made me think that I’m long overdue for changing to a different password manager.

Great app, poor security and communication
I've been a Last Pass member since the time it used to have most of its features free. It's an easy to use service that works well across several platforms and makes storing a library of hundreds of passwords easy.
Unfortunately, LastPass has had a history of security breaches. The last one in 2022 was very significant, and the severity of what was stolen and the lack of real communication with customers has lost my trust in this company. So while the app is good, I highly do not recommend using LastPass as a password manager for the foreseeable future.

It keeps me honest about dodgy passwords
Once upon a time my head held a few passwords. Many sites had the same password. Now my head holds only one excellent password that is only used once and LastPass holds the rest. All are 14 characters or greater and none are the same. 340+ websites and other records are kept. Impossible for me to remember. 2FA when available. Do it for piece of mind.

Can’t auto fill addresses
Hi, can you please fix your software so it can detect what’s an actual login, and when it’s asking me for my address? Whenever I try to fill out my address or other form details, a huge ‘unlock LastPass’ pops up and blocks all the options, and there’s no way to close it.
At least add an X so there’s a way to close the LastPass pop up when I don’t want to unlock it, and need to see what’s underneath.

Transparent communication, with no action points.
Lastpass has now been hacked twice since I have had a paid subscription. They talk about being transparent which is great. But after the hack it would be nice to be give some direction on what to do? Considering the sensitive data they hold they should have a better game plan. Am I changing every password I have Lastpass? Who knows I have only been told my data has been hacked. Meaning full communication directed at your audience would be nice. Remember you specifically advertise I can trust your company Lastpass…. So far not so good. As usual promises mean nothing until you need to cash one in.

Avoid - or at least make sure you never actually rely on it to remember your passwords
I was a premium customer for 8 years. Interface got harder to navigate over the years, customer service was never great, but hung on in there. Cancelled my account today after all the usernames and passwords in my vault appeared corrupted and/or were completely erased for the second time in a month. Try being locked out of all your work and personal accounts for days on end while you try to get in touch with customer service… not fun, and definitely not worth it. I’d pay three times more not to have this experience ever again.

Used to love it
Got a new phone, migrated apps across via iCloud, and now LastPass refuses to log in. iPad and desktop continued to work fine, but my phone was a no-go. Contacted support who got back to me every few weeks asking me to mostly do the same things I had already done with escalating levels of “are you sure you did what you said you did?” (Even asking for screen recorded video of me showing my settings), and eventually they just ghosted me. I cancelled my family plan, and migrated myself and my wife’s vaults to another product.
Judge a company by how well they treat their customers when things go wrong.

Worst password creation experience ever
This is a great app overall, but it's clear there's been very little thought / resources invested in UX design. I had to create a new password by clicking on a password reset link. I discovered that there is no way to generate a password without clicking into the 'Add' function, but then it automatically uses the URL of the password reset link (which is obviously wrong). Even after manually creating the new entry in my vault, the app fails to recognise the 'New Password' field. Every time you hit "use saved password" it's just blank.
On top of this, every time the app logs you out and you need to use Authenticator app, you have to click out of the LastPass app. It should be integrated.

If you plan to use basic/free Lastpass do not under any circumstances forget your master password because there is no actual person to contact for help. You’re screwed. I had all the relevant backups done such as FaceID etc yet none of it worked. And there wasn’t a thing I could do. Also autofill does not work properly on my iPhone 12 and I find I continually have to enter my master password to open LastPass then find the password required, in order to login. Hubby has LastPass on his Google phone and it works perfectly. He checked my settings are the same as his, which they are, but it just doesn’t work properly on an iPhone.

LastPass has gone to the dogs!
I have been an enthusiastic, paid-up LastPass subscriber for years! I have always found it to be an excellent password manager, but not any more!!!
Two days ago LastPass started refusing to accept my master password. At first I thought I’d simply mistyped it and tried again - and again - and again. Then the system locked me out. After waiting till I was allowed to try again I managed to creat a one-time password which allowed me to create a new permanent password. So far so good.
Two days later LastPass again devalidated my master password! And this time the system refused to allow me to create a new one. When I tried, using exactly the same approach as the first time, the so-called recovery system simply looped until the system told me I’d had too many text messages! And it’s continued to do that ever since.
Yes, I should have created a series of one time passwords in case LastPass should suddenly go mad. But why would I have expected that, after years of trouble-few operation???
So now I am reluctantly about to move to a new password manager. It will be a giant pain, recreating all my passwords. But what option do I have?? LogMeIn has zero facility to talk to a human being and sort my problem out, so all I can do is warn you all - stay away from LastPass! They do NOT care about their users!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

LastPass - Too Expensive & Not Trust Worthy
LastPass is now forcing me to have my Credit Card information if I want to continue using their app, even WHILE paying on subscription via Apples App Store for the past 5 years (isn’t this against Apple’s App Policies?).
While LastPass can’t see our passwords, they do log the websites we visit and possible location, every time a password is accessed from the app. They DO sell User Data to 3rd Parties and hand data over for Law Enforcement. Time for a change?
Also, the app keeps popping up asking for a review in the middle of accessing a website with LastPass, and that is with Apple’s In App Reviews disabled. It seems unless you give one the pop ups do not go away. So here is my review.

First Rate and excellent. I would be lost without LASTPASS
Excellent security system especially suitable for traveling. Make sure you have your unique master password in a very safe place ( preferably in your head or handwritten somewhere) and nominate a trusted person if you become disabled (as has recently happened to me). Facial recognition is very useful when you become disabled. And make country or city specific zones of use ( just remember that if you travel outside your zone)

Functional and complete
I use it across all my devices and have not been disappointed once. Available wherever I am even when I lost all my electronics. Constantly telling everyone to get it and they all love it - except of course those who still record their one password to everything on a sticky note on their screen or in the front of their diary (for easy reference 🤪).

Support and software development is terrible
I raised a support ticket in Feb 2021, as the search bar suddenly stopped matching text in the notes field of passwords (something I used daily). They didn’t look at my issue until June 2021, long after I decided to leave Lastpass.
I’ve been using Lastpass since 2015, after doing extensive research. They were bought out by LogMeIn shortly afterwards, and the platform has been going downhill ever since. LogMeIn obviously do not value their support or engineering teams. They discontinued the old Mac app, and replaced it with a generic, slow, buggy, cross platform app, that locks up on password copy for 5 - 10 seconds, and appear to have no intention to implement usability features, like touch Id. Do yourself a favor and use Bitwarden or 1Password instead!

Best Free App Right Now
I can confidentially say that this is the best free password manager right now for IOS. It is clean, efficient and easy to access, and can auto-fill on any app or browser. I really like how it not only can save passwords but also secure notes and bank details. You can only use it on one type of device right now (phone or computer) unless you get premium, but for the majority of people that is all that is needed. 10/10

No longer provides value
After nearly a decade, I am finally leaving LastPass. When I started using it, I paid for a premium account in order to be able to use LP on all my devices, and I did so happily. Then they made this functionality free, and for many years I used the free version instead. Now more recently, they ask for payment (an amount far greater than they asked when I previously paid for their service) for the most basic necessary functionality of a password manager. Maybe it would be worth paying their fee if it were lower, or they provided a better service. But as it is, the value is not there. The experience on web browsers and iPadOS is fine, but I also use the other mobile platform on my phone, and I have had to use workarounds far too often to be willing to pay for this service, as their app just doesn’t work well enough to justify the cost on that platform.

So slow now it’s ground to a halt
Up until a couple months ago I would have given this app a 5 star review. I had premium from the get-go so the recent changes to the free Vs subscription haven’t impacted me, I can still sync between multiple devices. What has impacted me is the functionality of the app has deteriorated significantly on iOS. Since the last few months I’ve noticed it often requires me to login multiple times in a session, it’s become slow and frequently crashes. This is despite me keeping my software up to date, and even trying uninstalling and reinstalling it.
It’s gone from being a lifesaver, something I used to generate all my passwords, to being virtually unusable. Really disappointed. If it doesn’t improve over the next few updates I will be cancelling my subscription.

LastPass is a great product but crippled by the new ‘single device only’ free license
I have recommended lastpass to many friends and colleagues over the years, however I cannot recommend it any more! You should try one password instead!!
On 16 March, lastpass just changed their free version from being generally effective and available on multiple devices, to only being available on a single device. So you can no longer synchronise between PC and mobile phone – which is the whole point of a password vault!
Charging $56 for a premium license is really gouging their customers. Half that price would be appropriate at most.

Very impressed
Just added it to my Safari and Firefox browsers as well. Plus iPhone. I’m always cynical about these 3rd party apps integrating with operating systems especially Apple’s but, after a couple of days tinkering and installing it everywhere plus updating my passwords to virtually everything, then testing it out on dozens of websites, on my Mac and iPhone and two browsers, well done LassPass, brilliant. It works fantastically. Not one issue. And so glad to be rid of the useless Keychain. I’m a fan. Bravo.

Really good and easy to use.
I used 1Password for a couple of years and decided to try LastPass. Used the 1 user Free option and the whole process of transferring data over to LastPass to using the app has been extremely smooth. I like the user interface more and have thoroughly enjoyed the free version for more than six months. I think the LP is very smart and integrates very well with Macs, Windows and iPhones. I have tens of password and other data stored on LP without any issues. The app is smart, recommends and stores strong passwords.
I am moving over to the subscription model this month as it’s totally worth the upgrade.

Highly recommend application. I’ve used a many different password managers and this one hands down by far has been the best.
Only negative I would have to say is I wish the forms had capability of being customised to suite additional information. But in lastpass defence they do give options of writing in the general note area.

LastPass-One of the Truly Password Security Sites Available!
Easy to Install , little house keeping to not reuse old Passwords, Work out a method that suits you and then do housekeeping on passwords that are old and need changing. Vault and 2FA codes portable between devices. Never loose another 2FA key again. Update Vault periodically to maintain synced passwords across devices. Must have commitment to solid Master Passwords or App will be of no use. 1 password for all passwords on the net. LastPass will let you create your own but will also offer secure password options per site. Remember to keep your Master Password secure and life’s a dream. Lord give me The Patience So That I May Learn Fear!

Great app
Great used it for 2 years perfect for storing unlimited passwords for free others I’ve used don’t have this level of security and only store like 120 passwords max on the free version u have to pay more to get unlimited but without LastPass u can upgrade to the premium version for I think $16 per month but I haven’t because the things u get for free is amazing oh and other password manager don’t auto fill on the free version and don’t have this level of security

LastPass is the best password manager ever. It’s highly secure and intuitive. Changed my life
Life was full of friction with so many passwords and I was doing the unsecure thing of using the same password for multiple accounts so I could remember them. After a friend recommended last pass I slowly added everything to it, now have different passwords for everything and it’s fully integrated in my phone and computer. Totally seamless now. Love it

Great app
I would allow a bit more customisability for the password generator however, make it so that you can make the mobile password length the same as on desktop (99 char) rather than 64. And allow us to remove SPECIFIC characters if the website we are visiting does not allow that specific character. Just have a little box where you type in “Excluded characters” and then they won’t show up in the generated password.

Brilliant
I have been using LastPass for years both free and paid. Paid is obviously the way to go and far superior with syncing across all devices, although I have been using free of late (necessity dictates) and I have managed okay with a few adjustments on my part.
LastPass has been my saviour with my declining brain power and I will NEVER be without it and NO inclination to ever try another app. Absolutely reliable. Thanks team!

Like the family support
I like the fact that I can use it on my Windows, Linux and Mac devices. Synchronises well and the browser plugin is, I wouldn’t say that it’s perfect, but it does the job well. The shared vaults between the family can be improved by adding time based entries, which move back to their original folder, after say a week or so. The app can check if any of my passwords have been compromised, just like the other apps in the same business do. But, I like it overall. No fuss app.

Great app, will save you the hassle of remembering passwords
This is a fantastic app if you find yourself managing many different accounts for all of the different services and sites available today.
This app allows you to keep all your passwords organised into categories, and allows you to add notes for each of your stored accounts.
It provides convenience when logging in to your accounts. As long as you’ve got your information for an account stored with LastPass you are able to log in simply by pressing the Passwords button above the keyboard and then you can use your FaceID to log in. You no longer need to try and remember passwords and then take the time to write them into log in fields.
Super convenient and saves you time and hassle. I highly recommend this app.

After discovering my details had been part of several major data hacks I realised I needed to do something better with the security of my online accounts. Last year I joined LastPass and haven’t looked back. The security of complicated, random & individual passwords to each account is great. Having auto fill makes it as convenient as ever. LastPass has worked nearly flawlessly for me both as an app on my phone and as a browser plugin. It’s even more seamless on iOS 12. I used to have some bad password habits, but moving to LastPass has helped me change to much more secure passwords. The free version covers all my needs. I feel a bit guilty at not having paid anything for something so valuable, so a positive review is the least I can do.

Occasional glitches but great support
There have been some glitches with payments for the service and some software bugs and the occasional sync happening slowly or requiring a app restart. Clearly this being so central to password security can be frustrating but the support team is always on the ball and able to resolve these issues.

Useless and frustrating
Having used Lastpass for approximately three years, it never ceases to amaze me just how many times the app breaks down leaving the user stranded with no way of accessing passwords on the iOS device.
Today’s error is repeatedly asking for a passcode from Lastpass Authenticator even when my account is not configured to use Authenticator. There is no workaround, it asks for a passcode, one cannot be provided as the Authenticator app is not installed, trying to use the ‘send email to disable two factor authentication’ doesn’t work either as it confirms during that process that my account is not configured to use the Authenticator. So what can be done? Nothing, cannot log into my account, cannot disable or even activate the Authenticator as it won’t let me log in to my Lastpass account, so it is a loop of despair leading no-where. Thanks Lastpass, your Premium service is hopeless and your products are disgraceful.

Almost perfect
Been using LastPass for years and am generally happy with it.
But there's one major flaw the designers have ignored from day one!
There's no GLOBAL search built in. If you need to search through the the databases that comprise your LastPass data (sites, notes, form fills), you have to do THREE SEPARATE SEARCHES!! This is insanity!!
Why can't the current search box simply search ALL THREE databases, and then group the results by database?? So simple. Yet this is not how the search works.

Passwords are just a hassle, however we all need them to access information. It's that simple. LastPass does that for you and it's very simple to use. In an ever-changing world where online security is a constant threat to our information, you need to have complex passwords they are different for each account. Be careful
I have used LastPass for a couple of years now. I have lost my entire vault twice now and there’s still no attempt to acknowledge the problem or fix it.
Firstly on PC I have to delete and reload the add-on every time I turn on my computer. It tells me my Master Password isn’t valid otherwise. I believed this in the beginning, thinking I’d forgotten my password, went through the account recovery which never works and lost the lot.
Second time was through the iPhone app after I updated my fingerprint on the phone. The app told me I needed to enter my Master Password, which hasn’t changed. Surprise surprise, not valid. Account recovery not working from any browser.
Online help... sorry there’s nothing we can do.

I Recommend It
I don’t keep a lot of passwords on LastPass. But I know that the passwords I do store will be safe. It’s easy to use, efficient and smooth. One of the passwords I have is to a website. Before, I never signed out of the account because to tell the truth, I didn’t remember the password. Then I found a month or so later I had accidentally logged myself out of my account. I had a good idea of the password, but the app wouldn’t accept any of them. I had to delete the account, and make a new one. But this time I put the password into LastPass. I could access my password without having to sit there for ten minutes trying to remember it. I just signed into LastPass, clicked show password and signed in. I was able to verify my email so I can log in if I can’t get my password on LastPass (which is unlikely). I recommend LastPass to those of you who have those passwords overflowing in your head, because, everyone is human.

3-Year User
My wife and I now keep all our passwords in LastPass. The process for adding a website to LastPass is straightforward. There is room for the user to add extra information they need while using the site.
We also keep many other private numbers in the Secure Notes area. Anything can be added as a Secure Note, from your home wi-fi password to attachments of photos of your drivers license or passport.
If you lose your master password you're gone, unless you've setup a recovery email with a friend or family member.
Emails (and use) from a large number of countries can be blocked for extra security.
LastPass will automatically sign you in to many websites, but not all. There seems to be a growing number of sites that require the user to manually enter the login details. Still, even for these LastPass is a handy place to keep the login details.
Also, on my version I cannot open related links or other downloads from a site opened on LastPass. For example, if you open your banking site you cannot open a link or download to a previous monthly statement. I'm sure this adds to the overall security but it forces me to login and download such items on the open web.
There are much higher levels of security available on LastPass but I've not had the need to use them.
Overall an excellent product.
