Description

Conquest is a version of the classic board game where you combine risk and strategy to conquer the world. As well as the standard world map there are 35 other maps included in the game that you can choose to fight over.
You can play solo or multiple human games against the randomly selected computer controlled opponents, each with their own personality and strong artificial intelligence. Or play network games against your friends over the internet!

Not so random perhaps?

Although this is fun, the dice seem loaded on certain maps. It seems to consistently be "random" in a way that goes against me, to the point where it seems not so random. But although it feels like the dice are loaded, the game, and challenge are still fun.

The Best!!!

My favorite game app ever. Played all the maps over and over, probably thousands of times and mastered all the mode options. Still love it. Great for winding down and relaxing with.

Love this game!

It has endless variety and can be extremely tough. It is my go to time killer on my iPhone. When it has me dominated and backed into a corner it can take hours of cautious tactics and persistence to beat. The only thing I am disappointed in is now that I have installed it on an iPad I wish it used the extra screen space to let me see a wider field of view instead of just enlarging the graphics.

Bad update

The latest update was a move in the wrong direction the graphics are shocking. When you zoom out you can't even see the number of armies or the border of the territories. The increased speed is good but a bit over the top how fast it goes now. Wish I could uninstall the latest update. The last version I would've given 4 stars

The best risk clone going around

I've tried the rest and this is quite simply the best Risk clone going around with true to the original grameplay and simple yet effective graphics.
The best turbo that I have seen makes for quick games against challenging and sometimes very clever AI.
There are fancier versions out there which lack the charm. Extra maps should keep you battling away for many hours.
Highly recommend.

Conquest

I bought Conquest a few years back when Sean was doing it for the Pocket PC and for the PC. I think this is a first rate Risk Clone, and if anything the AI has improved a bit over the older PC versions. The graphics are nice and the iPhone interface works well. The variants and options are good, although this could maybe be improved by finding a way to allow for importing user generated maps as with previous versions (?). I just hope that Sean ports the rest of his games over too.

Nice bug

When manually selecting territories, you can click on as many territories during your turn as you can and gain an unfair advantage. Kind of making this app useless. Nice but pointless now.

Don't bother

Way way over priced and it doesn't do much more than the light one. Plenty of better apps around for a lower price. Wish I could give zero stars.
