Is it meant to work?
Try and book a trip! You can choose your departing airport, your destination and then your departure date. But try and enter a return date and it will only allow you to depart - not return!

I have a booking but when I try to add booking it gives an error and states already entered so check booking summary. Try to check but no booking shown. Very frustrating as worked previously

Why does it send you outside the app? Why is the connection with Asia air miles so hard to follow? This app is confusing, glitchy and should be rewritten. It’s more interested in selling product than helping the customer. I’d give it zero stars if I could.

My Completed Flights are not updating my membership points...
I joined Cathay Pacific Marco Polo club in February. In mid April I completed 2 flights...Syd to HK and HK to Rome. These flights are on my profile but have not updated my points or status.
All flights were definitely linked to my membership number.
Why is this happening? Please help.

Cannot See Booking Information
The booking information section crashes on a day to day basis. It is very annoying that reservations made via CX official website are not shown properly every time in need of checking information or checking in online. Very unreliable app that needs a major IT refresh.
Addition dated 22 March 2019: upon trying different options with the app., I realised there’s an alternative approach to the issue identified above. Whenever I need to check booking details or do check-in online via this app., by simply log out first then log back in immediately afterwards could solve the issue for that one instance.
Since CX has responded with this review, I hope the airlines can actively fix this bug and make this app. reliable. I will also provide updates if the app. improves in the near future.
Update 04 April 2019:
The new version 6.10.0 is superb. It solved all the aforementioned issues and the app. now is very easy to use. Thanks for listening to your passengers.

It only shows economy and premium economy class
Under Manage Booking, Economy and Premium economy class tickets are displaying correctly as follow: (E.g. "Premium Economy | Class E"). However, I booked two business class tickets and it only shows "Class I" and "Class U" instead of "Business | Class I" and "Business | Class U"
Please rectify this minor issue.

The app work as it suppose to be, but the experience is not good. May need to refresh several times to get the booking info, back and forth multiple times to go through the booking. Also, please support add Macro Polo membership card to Apple wallet as all other airlines do.

Appalling UX
Unable to access my bookings via the app, redirected to clunky website where even after logging in AGAIN I am unable to retrieve my bookings. Apparently I need to link to my Asia Miles account. Which I neither have nor want. Is this actually a Cathay Pacific App or an Asia Miles App?? If I could I would rate this useless drain on data no stars.

I’m a very frequent flyer & this is a terrible App, I cannot locate a booking ref, I called reservations & they had information & confirmed that all my information is correct, please learn from Air France with their App & their excellent customer service.

This app will not recognize our booking. Just days they don’t have any bookings for our names, despite me being able to access them on a computer. We are not taking a computer away with us so any changes to flights etc. will be problematic.

This app is garbage. Can’t even find my flight using a reference number of e-booking number.
Totally useless. SMS verification of phone number never came through...the list goes on.
This is clearly a ploy for Cathay to look like a modern airline but they apparently can’t build a simple app to Check in to flights.

All reservations missing following latest upgrade
The latest update has resulted in all reservations to be deleted and unable to be retrieved . The issue has occurred on both IPad and IPhone. The issue will not right itself even following deletion and reinstating .
I have now lost 7 flight bookings .
This application is unreliable unstable and regressive .

Still needs work
The latest update crashes before even opening! The previous version was hamstrung as it was impossible to retrieve bookings either with the e-ticket number or booking reference. It only seemed to work when logging in with my Asia Miles account but most users would not have that access.
The app team need to get their act together, as they are letting down a high quality airline with a low quality product.
