Description

A programmable vibrating metronome/beat box with a flamenco clock display. The only metronome that lets you practice Subida (tempo change) and share rhythms online.
Beat Vibe is both a vibrating metronome and a programable beat machine aimed at both the flamenco player and non flamenco musician. Beat Vibe is pre-programmed with over 50 rhythm patterns from all major palls such as Bulerias, Alegrias, Tangos and more, including non-flamenco rhythms like Samba, Bosa Nova, Rock, Raggae and many more. You can easily program your own rhythm patterns, share them online, and download from the many rhythm patterns other users have shared.
The unique "Song Mode" lets you set a sequence of rhythm patterns to play, setting the number of repetitions and tempo. You can create rich percussion loops or practice change of tempo (subida)!
You can set Beat Vibe to vibrate letting you not only see and hear the rhythm but also feel it. Put the phone in your pocket and feel the rhythm as you play.

• Rich percussion sound sample library. Over 50 drum kit and flamenco percussion sounds, sampled in stereo, including: Palmas, Cajon, Tapada, Step, Snare, Bass, Tom, Cymbal, Kick, Timbales, Cowbell, Castanets, Darbuka, Conga and more.
• Volume and vibrate controls (vibrate available on iphone only).
• Clock hand movement may be smooth or discrete (on beats only)
• Add random jaleo calls for extra fun.

Ole!

Hmm... surprised to see so very few reviews here for this little gem.
Anyway this app is great value as a study aid for flamenco guitar (not least since its leading competitor on PC retails for several hundred bucks!)
You can choose from a wide range of preset rhythms: From simple 4/4 cycles to complex asymmetric flamenco compasses. Or else just tailor-make your own versions.. Also very good for setting up rhythm exercises to hone your techniques on.
Nice authentic-sounding flamenco percussion audio to choose from (quite varied palmas, cajon, castanet sounds etc.)
The main downside is the editing UI can get a little buggy - so sometimes awkward to label new files.
Still, excellent value!

Steer clear

The beats werent really as realistic as advertised, the app in generally is quite messy and disorganised, turned the help off button and still get a whole bunch of little yellow pop up bubbles teaching me what is what over and over again everytime i use the app. In general was expecting more for the price tag, steer clear

EVERY RHYTHM IS NOW POSSIBLE WITH THIS APP.

This is an amazing drum app and just goes further than all the rest. The accuracy of each beat is astounding, there isn't a rhythm this app can't deal with. If you need drum beats in strange time signatures or just want your beats to sound real and not mechanical, then this app allows you the greatest of options, there are no limits. It's also very easy to use and isn't limited by music style, it really can do it all, and all on your iPhone, it's hard to believe. This has all the capabilities of the iPad version, but make sure you get the iPad one if you're using an iPad because each device is unique. Don't forget that this app can reproduce Flamenco rhythms, but it makes good dance beats too.

Easy to programme. Great sounds. All flamenco palos plus more. Great app. Much easier than oscar herroro metronome to acess at a fraction of the price. Highly recomend.

Cumbersome

This method of programming beats will test your patience. This application is overpriced.
