App is surprisingly good for following up on origins of words. There's some really obscure words that have come up in scrabble that this dictionary can always define.

I love this dictionary. I'm a teacher & use it often at work. It's easy to access & the voice addition for pronunciation is brilliant. My only complaint is that it doesn't use predictive text which would be hugely beneficial when unsure of the correct spelling of any word.

Great app, easy to use. Has most words that you need, with succinct, clear descriptors. Won't replace a full blown dictionary entirely, but then who wants to lug one of those around everywhere you go?

Fantastic!
Although the description made mention of a thesauras which I can't find in the app, the GUI is fast and responsive.
It's the Dictionary I've been searching for on the iPhone / iPod Touch since I got mine in 02/08.

Fantastic application. It would be better if they can include sound on how to pronounce the words or voice command to search for a word.
