Description

The best gets even better! Enhance Wikipedia with queue mode, designed for keeping track of entries you want to read in the future. Add entries to the queue easily while browsing, and optionally save them for faster visiting or offline browsing. Downloading entries for offline or accelerated reading happens in the background while you browse and read other pages, so you don't have to stop and wait for pages to be saved.
See the Wikipanion web site for more details about Plus features. Want to see why Wikipanion is the best? Download the free Wikipanion.

Fantastic app

This is the best way to access Wikipedia on iPhone and iPad - hands down.
It is fast and responsive, and has good bookmarking and page queuing facilities.
Most importantly, it displays Wikipedia pages (including tables and charts) much more accurately and true to the original than other iOS apps I’ve tried, which sometimes just leave out page elements that they find difficult to render.

iCloud integration?

I have W+ installed on my iPhone 4 and recently bought it for my son's iPad 4. It's by far the best Wiki app available though I would love to see a feature that would synchronise bookmarks and queues between devices. I'd imagine it would be easy enough to implement this through iCloud much like Tweetbot syncs timeline markers etc.
This would be really handy and definitely justify the 10 or 11 bucks it costs to buy both versions of the app.
Cheers :)

Fantastic.

Wikipanion has, for me, been one of those rare findings - a beacon of hope - among the sea of novelty and mediocrity that make up the App Store.
The author does a great job of frequently supplying bug fixes, and ensuring that the experience of Wikipedia on iPhone remains unparalleled.
Admittedly, it took a little while to adjust to the queue system of Wikipanion Plus, but once I had adjusted, certainly appreciated the extra functionality, and was glad to have paid the extra couple of dollars.
If I could get a decent App for the OED and Roget's thesaurus in the Australian App Store, my life would be complete. Or at least in a literary sense; I am somewhat doubtful that it will address the other deficiencies of my life. Perhaps I just need to buy an iPad.

A good utility for any Wikis

This offers a few good advantages over a straight Google search: offline saving of entries, ability to target specific wikis, queuing up pages. I also like the presentation of an alternate index - very cool in the iPad, serviceable on the iPhone.
Single best advantage for me is presentation with good text wrapping. Wikipedia's mobile interface is awful, and viewing the desktop version of a page on a small screen gets uncomfortable too.

Great! And has many of safari's missing features!

Offline viewing is great and full text search has been heretoforeissing in my iPhone browsing experience... Thanks guys for including a feature that's apparently so obvious that apple missed it..

Great upgrade

Placing articles into a queue for later is the best feature of the plus version

This right here is the bidness

Wikipanion is a very nice application for browsing Wikipedia but the Queue ability of its for-pay brother eats its heart and spits blood in the face of its enemies. You can even download all the queued pages to be read offline. It's how you want to read Wikipedia, finally on a handheld device.

Good work

A nice localisation of wikipedia on the iphone with lots of recent improvements. Best features are downloading in background and saving of favourite pages. Definitely worth the money as far better and more readable than other versions.

Excellent

The improvements over the free version are great and work very well. If you're not too fussed by $6, and use Wikipedia a lot, this is recommended. Nice work Mr Chin.
