i absolutely ADORE kmart, and this is no insult to the company and the products themselves but this is the glitchiest, most annoying app i have ever used. i've spent 15 minutes trying to add a shirt to cart and it keeps kicking me out of the app. i seriously do not recommend. this is the first app that has continuously glitched on me on multiple occasions. i swear to god walking to my local kmart would be faster than placing an order.

Functionality has reduced.
The app has recently been deleting my bag - only holding the items for a day or so before it clears off and I need to re-add everything. I do sporadic but large orders and will spend time creating said large order but am currently unable to do this. And it also appears that there is now an item limit on the bag as well. This is not helpful.

I can prepare myself in the app before I shop or I can look up reviews on items while I’m shopping and if I can’t find a price I just check it in the app. Love that you can check out new items before you shop so you know what to look out for. Online ordering is pretty easy too.

Extremely Disappointed — Broken Items & a Surprise Toy?
I rarely write reviews, but this experience left me genuinely frustrated. I ordered several home items from Kmart, hoping for a smooth delivery — instead, I received a box of disappointments.
•One of the serving dishes arrived completely shattered, clearly due to poor packaging.
•A set of six canisters? Also broken.
•I ordered a storage tray, and to my surprise, Kmart decided I must need a toy instead. Yes, a children’s toy arrived in its place. Maybe someone thought I’d like to play with it while organizing my kitchen?
•And as for another item I ordered, only half of it matched the description or my expectations — the rest felt like a completely different product.
•To top it off, the delivery was painfully slow and handled with all the care of a sack of bricks.
Kmart, I expected better — at the very least, basic quality control and accurate order fulfillment. I’m left disappointed, annoyed, and now the reluctant owner of a toy I never wanted. Please do better.

I’m pretty sure you already know how well this products are due to the quality and the clothes are stunning for only 15 dollars compared to 50 dollar shirts I’m always buying since I don’t have to pay so much money for just a bad quality shirt and don’t get me started on their body products it works so well on my skin the palmers body oil is amazing totally recommend.

Issue with Out-of-Stock Items Still Being Sold
I have noticed a recurring issue with your website. I recently placed an order, only to be informed the next day that the item was out of stock and that my payment would be refunded. This has happened multiple times, and I find it quite frustrating.
Selling products that are no longer in stock is misleading and, as far as I understand, may not be legally acceptable under consumer protection laws in Victoria, Australia. I kindly request that you update your system to prevent out-of-stock items from being available for purchase. This would improve the shopping experience for customers and prevent unnecessary inconvenience.

Often disappears mid search
Has always been problematic, often selected search just becomes a blank page (for years now) and search has to be done through a browser. Stock on hand levels are way out and for every 3 things you order, 1 will be refunded to you as no stock available. Hard to read previous orders as you can be on page 7 having to go through each page one by one and selecting each order and if you need the next one along it will take you back to page one and start again. Quite frustrating.

This app is nifty and handy. However, there’s a recent update that introduced a bug.
When selecting a filter or going to the next page after getting results, a blank white page appears. I’m certain this is an intermittent problem, but I’m not sure where else to report it.

I really appreciate that there’s a dedicated App for Kmart, it makes my trips to the store slightly easier to budget for…. Well, attempt to at least 🤭
One issue I’m finding quite frustrating is the Wish List section keeps telling me that it’s maxed out at 100 items.
However, I only have 13 singular items on my Wish List.
***Edit: I had items on my Wishlist on Account through the Website that weren’t visible on the App. Once those were deleted, the problem was solved. (Hope that can help others)***
And while I’m at it, if there is some way of attaching more location specifics to items on the App (more than just the General Departments they’re in) to make them easier to find, that would be a massive help.

Plum mini skin kit burnt my skin
So I got the plum mini skin kit for Christmas and I used it a couple days ago but it was burning my skin and I thought it was getting rid of all the germs and dirt on my face but no it was burning my skin then 3 days ago I saw it started to shred my skin and it burnt my face and even SOME OF MY NECK??! but I never knew I had sensitive skin and some of my layers of skin HAVE ACTUALLY COME OFF it was so bad it was hard to eat because I had a rash on my chin and also one near my ear and I burnt my eyelids cheeks chin nose forehead EVERYWHERE and also under my chin don’t recommend cheap stuff if you have sensitive skin

Disappointing app
I’m trying to buy an online product . I set up my postcode to my local area but it’s coming up with stores outside of my local area and says out of stock but when I ring head office they say it’s available. Ok, this needs so much improvements. Whenever I scroll I tap on things to look at it and the prices and stuff right?? It could be better
I get that it costs less to mask a website as an app and call it a day but Kmart really missed the opportunity to elevate their shopping experience here. There’s no clear function to share products with friends and family, the checkout process is janky and I’m constantly logged out. The app is generally slow to load products and inventory system mustnt be updated at low frequency because I’ve been caught going in store without stock available. Experience isn’t great for a business that had record profits in the past financial year 🙄

One of the worst apps ever
I am so disheartened by the Kmart app. It’s perhaps the only shopping app that almost never allows you to pay, if by luck you can add things to your cart, the app will continue to ask you to pay. When you pay, the app immediately says the items you have in your cart are out of stock online. The app will prompt you to click and collect, when you do, and pay, the app will then say items out of stock for click and collect. It’s just super frustrating because this is perhaps the only app that can never ever show you if they have stock or not. So shameful that this is how they function in this age and time. Worst app ever!

Wishlist Suggestion
Love the app and love that I can “Wishlist” items. However, I would love to be able to create titled Wishlist’s. For example, one for clothes, one for bathroom, one for kitchen - and then choose the list I want an item to be saved in for future reference. I tried finding where on the app I can give this suggestion/feedback, but there wasn’t any particular area that seemed suitable except for here.

What’s the point if you can’t log in?
Judging by the historical reviews, this issue has surpassed over 12 months with no permanent fix in sight. What are the developers doing? 9/10 times I use this app, I’m unable to log in. Without being able to log in, I can’t access my wish list and thus unable to make a full purchase of all the things I wanted to buy.
Yea, the app is updated and yes the log in issue persists even if you try to access the Kmart site via a web browser. So, is this just another review that’s going to be ignored in the abyss of other reviews? Or are the developers actually concerned about all the consumers and profits they are losing over the years over such a non negotiable simple feature that should have been fixed from the beginning.

Login issues
Despite recent updates, login is still buggy. Twice this has happened now, where I’ve tried to login to the app (after it’s logged me out) and the sign in button doesn’t work. There is no issue with my details themselves as I can login using web browsers. Other than this bug, the app itself is great

Online web site v app
I prefer to use the website on my iPad for Kmart shopping and browsing but it wants you to go over to the app with a banner at the top and if you stay on the site you can’t see the full page of reviews (ie the left margin of each reviews is missing words ) and if you go over the to app so you can fully read the reviews it’s a tiny page on the iPad, like a phone page size which defeats the purpose of using the bigger iPad. It’s extremely annoying… please fix it.

Unable to Sign In
Most functions of this app are great and easy to use, but the app is useless to me if I can’t sign in.
Looking at previous reviews it has been an issue for over a month now for many users.
When signing in the app opens a webpage to sign in to your Kmart account. Email and password are entered and “sign in” clicked. The “sign in” button registers the click as it changes colour to indicate it has been pressed, but then nothing further happens. It stays like that. Reloading page and entering details repeats the issue. Signing in on to a computer is no problem. The issue seems to be only with the mobile site and app.
I ensured the app is up to date and issue continues.
I have also raised issue with Kmart through customer service.

Saves in store receipts too!
I lost my paper receipt for some Christmas presents I bought in store and one of the gifts was an RC car that was faulty and broke on Christmas Day within 10 mins of use but I couldn’t find the receipt to return it. Delivery issues
I love that I can be at work and order products that used to be delivered to my door inside my gate , unfortunately a new delivery company has taken over and says they tried to deliver but I have been sick so know this not to be the case then I get a message no door bell rang no ring activity on my cctv to say sorry you weren’t home so we delivered to the Chinese shop in Ashmore plaza ! I work so can not get there normally but as I’ve been off work I was able to go down (burst ear drum) to my shock they had 5 parcels of mine going back 3 weeks I’d totally forgot about so Kmart you really need to be keeping a eye on you delivery drivers because I feel there’s lots of bogan ones out there , I should also add all 5 of those parcels were ticked as delivered and they were not
If this continues I will have to stop ordering from you because I do not have time to go to a shop hence I have my products delivered weekly ,

I’m pleased to find that Kmart now has an app.
However I would like to be able to see all my orders in one place without having to enter an order number to see each one. This would make it easier to see what stage each online order is at when waiting for click and collect or delivery. Cart not updating to allow items to be click & collect
I don’t know what the online and app creators have changed, but you can no longer update your items to be “click & collect”. The items I have chosen said out of stock on line, though plenty are in the store. I change to click and collect as my option, though the cart still says “out of stock online”. It won’t update so you can use click and collect. I have cleared my browser, deleted the app, removed then added the items again. Nothing is updated.

Very bad online shopping experience
I tried to buy something 3 times during the week and every time my order got cancelled after 1 or 2 days says out of stock. The 3rd time there is still 9 available online when I received email says ordered cancelled while I only ordered 5, and I placed my order almost 2 days ago. Then I realized there is no way I can make a complaint other than call them, the call center guy is nice but as usual he cannot do anything. Very bad experience and I end up buying elsewhere, paid $10 extra but at least the experience is good. Will never ever shop Kmart online.

One of the worst
This would have to be the worst online shopping app I’ve ever used. How and why is it SO bad?
My biggest annoyance used to be that it would log me out…all…the…time (still does) but my newest irritation is the Wishlist and Reviews.
I should be able to have 100 items in my Wishlist, currently it only allows 65 before a pop up appears to say “you have 100 items in your Wishlist, delete some to add more”. So apparently 65 is the new 100?
The next issue of annoyance is the reviews. If an item says it has reviews, one clicks on the arrow or the reviews number count link, assuming it will take you to the carefully written customer reviews.
Not so.
Nothing there.
Both of these problems are app and website issues, at first I thought it may just be the awful app but imagine my delight when I found that it was an issue with both online shopping options!
Delight may not be the emotion I was feeling, maybe it was a different “D” word emotion.
These aren’t the only problems, read through any of the multiple other reviews and I concur with them all.
Do better.
Don’t bother “we are so sorry and will pass this information on”…spend the valuable time used typing a response, actually fixing the multitude of problems.
Better yet, chuck the app in the bin and start again. Sometimes it’s better to start fresh than to mess around trying to fix something that is such complete garbage.

Abuse of notifications
The Kmart app isn’t as useful as it could be, and it abuses the notification functionality spamming for literally no reason. “Great prices every day!” isn’t a notification that actually brings joy to anyone. If you’re gonna send pointless spam, give users the option to opt out of marketing and leave on notifications on for actual useful information - or better yet, just do better. Notification fatigue is real, and I’ve banished Kmart from having any notifications on my devices. You’ve abused that. Do better.

overall i love the fact kmart has an app, however i do have a few complaints When I try to place a click and collect order online, if the product isn’t in stock online it will not let me get through to the next section, even though it is in stock at the particular store. Even if i click the ‘Click and Collect’ button in my cart. When i find a product online, i can almost never locate it in store without having to ask staff. an idea could be to show what section the product is in online; e.g ‘Beauty Section’ listed underneath a makeup product. also having to log back in everytime i launch the app is very painful, if there was a way you could avoid this, that’d be great.

As bad as the website
Editing to add the recent update has made zero difference to being able to log in.
Much like the website, it’s impossible to stay logged in. On the website I’ve had to create a whole new account each time I wanted to make an order as no matter how many times I tried to log in I couldn’t and the forgot password option never works, this app is the same. Downloaded, couldn’t log in with my most recent account so decided to try logging in with OnePass, managed to log in and place and order before getting logged out again. Now when I try to log in the app just circles straight back to the log in page. I have seen many other reviews with the same issue and standard response from the developer, maybe it’s time to update the app rather than ‘pass along the feedback’

Useless. Absolutely Useless!
This app is mind blowing considering in comes from such a large company. Won’t allow items to be added to cart for click and collect. Buttons seemingly just text. Clicking on them simply brings up copy and paste. Nothing works. Take my money? Nope. Waste my time? Yep. I’ve had issues trying K-Mary via app, and even on their mobile and desktop sites. All the same. All useless. Worst of all these issues have persisted for a couple of years as best I can make out. Random apologies via socials feedback with a promise to pass onto developers. Nothing done. Ever. On the few occasions I’ve gotten click and collect to work, the wrong or only half the items have shown up. Avoid. Avoid like the plague!

Wish list folders
Hey Kmart great it’s made shopping so much easier I would love to be able to make folders in my Wishlist eg bathroom , kitchen , pets , Blanks bday ect so I can have everything I need for each room in a folder so I don’t have to go through my list to grab what I need for that check out I can easily hit the “kitchen folder” one and add that to my cart while I finish renovation on other rooms hope I explained it properly:) I believe this would be an amazing addition to the app thankyou sincerely Jordan

Needs some work - EDITED
Hi Kmart, I’m editing my review details as from the looks of things it’s the same issues with most people. So I thought I’d add some features I think would be cool, firstly I’d love to see a ‘add picture’ section to the reviews page, it will allow us to show others what a product looks like and how it’s been used. Secondly I’d like to be able to go back a page by swiping my iPhone from left to right as opposed to clicking the tiny back button up the top. Thirdly, it would be cool to have a ‘quick add’ to cart button for those that know what they want without having to go into the product.
Below is the only issue I’ll raise as I haven’t seen it written in the reviews.. when selecting a store location, it states it will show you stock for that store, I find the item and it looks to be in stock, then once I click on the item it will show as out of stock online. No biggie just annoying. Thanks for your hard work!!

Bugs need fixing
Fixes that need to be implemented with next update:
* “latest arrival” option has stopped working in home & living category. Does not work on app if selected from the hamburger menu or via the clickable button at the top of the ‘all home & living” page.
* many items show as “in stock” but then change to out of stock if other items are added to the cart. Not sure if this is tied to problems with Kmart inventory and stock levels or if this is a shopping cart / app issue
I’m not sure why Kmart app seems to suffer from a lot of bugs when even small business can have a functional app developed? It’s often a painful and frustrating online shopping experience.

i have a hatred
Kmart, i’ll start by saying, i love you so much. BUT, you need to fix this app!!!! it keeps logging me out every single day. it’s really annoying and i am getting a hatred for this app. when i try and log back in it doesn’t even log in. it stays in the log in page. you better fix this ASAP.

Too glitchy to use
Unfortunately the app just seems to be getting worse, now when I attempt to add things to my bag it asks the postcode (which it already knows) and when I put it in and click Save, it returns me to the product page but won’t add the item to my bag. This happens over and over again and so I’m unable to order, because nothing ever saves to my bag. I tried Safari and got the same result. What’s the point of paying for OnePass if I can’t even place an order?

Useless
I can’t figure out how a company as large as Kmart has one of the worst apps of its kind on the store, and doesn’t seem to care about customer feedback either. Time and time again they say they have fixed the problems that users post here, but nothing has changed, if anything all of these problems are getting worse.
The app is slow, logs you out every time you blink, doesn’t load images, prices, descriptions, it never seems to include measurements as important as they are, and routinely crashes.
If you’re dead set on buying from Kmart, you’d better hope there is a store near you since buying online is the most frustrating way to part with your money. Better yet, don’t buy from them at all.

Almost there
I love that Kmart has an app now, but there are a few issues making it hard to use. I’ve found that it doesn’t hold your cart contents if you leave the app, and it doesn’t seem to properly save things to the Wishlist. I also find the login function doesn’t work at times, and when it does it often logs out quickly and the cart is lost.
It could also be helpful if there was a way for the app to show you an idea of where in the store the product might be, or a layout map of the store you choose.

Why not create an app that you can actually purchase from?
One of the necessities of one pass is using the app, but the app doesn’t let me checkout. A window comes up but it’s blank. Close that window and there’s a message they will help you relaunch the window so you can follow through. There is no follow through after twice rebooting phone and closing screen and closing app and reloading app. Technology was meant to make life easier and faster but I can get that hour back from trying.

Terrible
Kmart app is terrible.
A free times items are shown as available for online delivery so I order them and pay delivery fee. However receipt only shows item price and not delivery charges and after a free days Kmart refund you for unavailable items but does NOT refund the delivery fees that were paid and ONLY refunds the item price.
This has happened to me 3 times so far which is far from acceptable and I’ve even called to where I was told it only shows X account of dollars.
They are literally ripping off their customers and they have to know this.
How can they not?????
The receipt MUST show FULL amount a customer pays INCLUDING shipping costs.

Disappointed
The app keeps logging me out of my account every 10 minutes. Also wouldn’t let me go back in for a couple days!
And a fragile item I brought online made of glass was completely smashed confirmed by my post office that Kmart didn’t package and seal it properly there was no bubble wrap, or any other soft plastic around it to protect it was just a thin bit of cardboard.
It’s sad the post office told me I shouldn’t buy any fragile products online from specifically Kmart because this happens so often products being completely smashed because of poor packaging there’s no care that goes into it.
It really is common sense.

Do not recommend to use
I was very excited to have this app because the website can be so painful at times with using the cart. However those issues seemed to have come across to the app, in even worse ways. The cart randomly empties, you put the items back in the cart and then they magically reappear doubling what’s in your cart. Logs you out randomly making you log in again. Only to tell you a few minutes later to log in again. The app consistently shuts down in use. Very frustrating. And before anyone asks, I have the most up to date version and don’t have any issues like this with any other shopping app I have.

Needs improvement
The reason to get the app is for quick access to your account and favourites, but every time I open the app I’m logged out and asked to sign in again. It has become very frustrating as I’m hoping to save to my wish lists and make orders.
It would also be great to be able to swipe back from the product page to the product listing page, the usability of viewing products feels frustrating without this.

Terrible
Adding items to the bag is a toss up. Sometimes they aren’t added at all, sometimes adding one item deletes all the other items.
And why can’t the app just stay logged into my account? Every time I open the app, I have to log back in to see my wish list.
Speaking of wish lists, it’d be great if I could create multiple wish lists, so that I can categorise items by events/needs etc, rather than have to scroll through everything to find the two items I want to buy for my child’s birthday as opposed to all the house/Christmas items

Lots of room for improvement
It’s great that Kmart finally has an app, but the app is extremely buggy. The app keeps logging me out and then most of the time when I go to log back in the app won’t let me go to the log on page, when I tap on the ‘log in’ and then tap ‘continue’ when it asks for permission it just keeps redirecting me to the back to the wishlist page (which I can’t access if I can’t log in 🤦🏻♀️). I have also tried logging in via the account tab and it just states that it is redirecting me to the log in page, but it never does, which is extremely frustrating and so I have been using the website until Kmart can create an app that actually works. Other stores have had very functional apps for years, with Kmart being so popular I am surprised it had taken them so long to get an app, but don’t know why it has been so poorly developed and taking so long for bugs to be fixed. The owners of Kmart need to allocate more money towards the app development especially in our digital age.

Latest updated app won’t let me sign in
The last version worked perfect. Now I’ve updated to the latest version and when I logs me out the log in won’t load, just say ‘redirecting’ but never does. Even trying to log in via Wishlist, it just directs back to the empty Wishlist page. The only thing that seems to work is deleting and re-downloading, which I’ve had to do twice now. Looking forward to this bug bring fixed, I use this app all time and usually love it.

It’s getting better…
I was SUPER happy when I saw Kmart had released an app! And it’s improving. But the search function doesn’t work well and it’s always loads an empty screen no matter what my signal connection is. Even going through the menu feature it loads a blank screen. Please try and fix this if there’s anyway possible. Overall though this app is really good!!

Won’t stay logged in
It’s a great app and especially love that you are able to scan items in store with it. Biggest problem and extremely annoying that the app doesn’t stay logged in and you need to sign in every time you open the app. On top of that it won’t remember your sign in details, not even just your email. I feel like this is a very basic function that most other apps already have!

Lost my moving out for first time Wishlist ☹️☹️
I love Kmart and am so happy they brought out an app, I am moving out for the first time so obviously have created a huge wish list of things I wish to buy for my first home but when I have gone to my wish list to view my items I’ve picked out, my wish list doesn’t load ☹️ instead it’s just a loading screen that loads and loads and loads…I thought maybe I need to delete the app and re-download it so I did that and that didn’t help….it’s still the same thing happening …. Please fix this so I can get my wish list back

Needs work
The app is pretty functional however the sign-in page specifically makes the user experience extremely disappointing. The app doesn’t remember you and keep you signed in to your account. Instead you need to log in ever single time. On top of that, the app does not even remember your log in details. You need to re-type your entire email address and your entire password each and every log-in. I’ve deleted the app- I’ll go back to using the website until it’s fixed.

Needs improvement
I was pretty pleased to see Kmart released an app and it easy enough to use for just looking but it needs to stay logged in, or at least the option to stay logged in. Especially because is caused cart issues, when I checked out with what I thought was 1 item turned out to be items from a previous time I was looking at something. Because it asked for log in detail during checkout it lost the new item and reverted to my previous cart I think. Then when I tried to fix it the item I was looking at was suddenly not available so now I’ve been charged for items and shipping I wasn’t after and lost the item I was 🤦🏽♀️
