The BibleRef app contains verse-by-verse and chapter-by-chapter Bible commentary along with extensive cross references and context explanation all written by the GotQuestions.org team. For each verse in the Bible there are six different Bible translations, easy-to-understand commentary, and brief explanations of how the verse fits within its surrounding context. New content is published regularly and can be downloaded via the settings menu in the app.

Great for beginners like me to easily understand the message in the bible.
Very helpful for beginners like me. I like the idea that they have commentary, summary and context in every chapter so that beginners like me understand clearly what the message is all about.

Love it so far
I’ve just started using this app and am loving it. It gives a good synopsis of a chapter, and then breaks down each verse with a summary and a context and a explanation.
Can find no fault with the context or explanation. In fact, I find it quite useful and eye-opening.
