Constant inconsistencies - opponents make hits beyond maximum range and survive head on collisions undamaged whereas as you’re flaming wreckage.

Limited range of national choices means the game is awash with whatever is top that month, making everything else irrelevant. Few things can be more boring than a game full of Me163s.

Awesome game, bad decisions

I’ve been enjoying WTM for quite a while. As a f2p player I still enjoy that basically everything can be gained f2p, giving you the save edge as most players. However, the decisions the devs make, such as making top tier tanks/planes/ships easily obtainable for new players can really depreciate the gameplay. Especially when they are clueless. I do understand that the devs have to make money somehow, but the level of micro transactions can be often bothersome. Overall still, great game! If more stuff such as realistic battles can be added, it would be awesome!

Needs fixing

The game has bunch of glitches like making you teleport and stuff and stuff not loading my rounds never pen weak spots for some reason anti air missles are way to op as they insta kill you with one hit even if you use flares or if it flys past you. Some tanks are weird to control missles glitch and fly into the ground or up in the air for no reason. 2/10 it’s like a worse version of Lego tanks I used to play when I was a kid

F111 in real life compared to in game real war thunder

Ok so I know about where you guys get your sources on military vehicles but there is just one thing that I want you to do… Go and fly out to Adelaide Australia and go to the royal aviation museum and buy the F111 pass so you get to experience what and how it worked like in real life like I listed in my last comment it could reach much much higher speeds without ripping wings that was never a problem the airframe could stand up to Mach 3.2 without a limiter. At this aviation museum you will get shown about the f111c you will see documents on the aircraft get an inside and out tour of the f111 with the people telling you every detail.

You could even just watch a f111c video on YouTube and watch it do a proper roll or turn and it doesn’t slouch at all compared to in game, look it’s not horrible in war thunder it’s useable but not realistic what so ever it could go Mach 1.8 without after burner on at alt i think it could even go faster. In war thunder to tell the truth I just want to see this jet at its potential being with aim 9M’s and everything that i’ve listed being turn time, roll rate, armament and engines you know the list goes on. Im just asking for this to happen out of my love for aviation and realism in games and for what I can see you guys have potential, hear me out your game should instead of nerfing already badly unrealistic planes make them all as real as the law lets you that will even out your game so yeah. To tell the truth I really want is to see my favourite jet become the monster bomber it once was from 1967 - 2010 please listen to me, cya thanks Gaigin remember me please 🙏

Good game becomes better

What’s on the mobile is a great game though. Here’s some things I’d like to be added first of all more jets. Second of all other ways to get tanks like the moles that can also be faster because spending a bunch of silver lions taking months to get the mouse is not the way to get it. Second of all add more events like maybe we keep redoing the World War I because I think it was a great event now one of my other ideas is add test drying flying or sailing. It would be great to be able to do this and when test driving flying or sailing you have a debug menu which lets you free room spawn other ships possibly control other ships or things that sort of stuff that is like a creative menu that would be nice to have also like an admin panel and something I’m kind of mad about for the real version on the console. My gold eagle aren’t being received so if that could be fixed after giving my ID if you guys can respond that would be good. Second of all golden eagle and silver lines become more obtainable third and endgame workshop. That’s like the Guardian stop shop but just inside the actual game side that this would all be great also keep working on infantry that would be great. War thunder mobile has lost the plot.

Gavin are running updates every couple of days, chasing their tails to fix the poor quality of the previous one. Had a game where 8 of the 10 in the team were bots. The bots are useless, when you see them in the game you know you are doomed. Kill and win stats are down by about 9 percent overnight. Games go one of two ways, either you easily slaughter them or they easily slaughter you. Play if you want, just don’t pay for it.

UPDATE: IM DELETING THIS TODAY. IT IS NO LONGER ENJOYABLE, GAIJIN SEEM TO HAVE RUINED THE PLAYABILTY OF IT AND THERES A FULL UPDATE EVERY FEW DAYS. WHY PLAY JUST TO BE CANNON FODDER FOR PREMIUM PLAYERS. THESE GUYS HAVE LOST THE PLOT. NOW TO GET MY GENERIC INSULT REPLY FORM THEIR REVIEW BOT.

Perfect game… but says update?

Don’t get me wrong, I love this game and I play on mobile, pc and even ps5! It’s such a great game and I’ve been playing for a while.. but today when I loaded in, it said that there was an update I needed to download. Amazing Game but Many Bad Features

WT:M is a brilliant game, but I think theres definitely many features in could improve in. One of these that make gameplay a bit less boring is how battle ranks work. They are good because they can help seperate the worse and the better types of players, but I think instead of your rank being the highest rank of your vehicle equipped, it should be your average rating of your equipped vehicles. For example if you had a lvl 6, 2, 1 and 2 equipped, it would be 3 as your average rating, therefore you will be in the 2-3 3-4 category.

Since I started playing this game at the end of 2023, I have never felt so uncomfortable playing it. Before the naval battle tech tree was changed, although the benefits were greatly reduced, the situation in the match remained unchanged. There were still full-level crew groups on gold and purple ships, and the impact of crew group levels in naval battles was much less than in land battles. Now I probably won't have the chance to play with full-level crew groups on land battle vehicles anymore, which means the chance of high blood pressure during matches will increase significantly (like aiming but missing because the crew group is not good enough). Less than 200 crew group experience points per match also means I won't be able to enjoy the feeling of having full-level crew groups for a year. Moreover, advanced rooms are full of low-level vehicles like the KV-2. When you see three level one vehicles on your team and the opponents have all the highest or one level lower than the highest vehicles in the room at the beginning of the game, you know you've lost before the game even starts. And you can't quit directly because there's a 5,000 SL fine. The strong teams have also been disbanded. I feel there's no point in continuing to play.

Here’s my opinion

I love the game and all with all of its features and all its nearly been a full year of playing this game, you might see this 16 years later and all and most likely everything about the game would’ve changed by now, but my opinion is that it’s a good game, but while you play your tank, aircraft, ship you have to know what purpose it serves, does it serve as a strategic, flanking or just brutal playstyle. If you’re bad at the game all you need is a little skill and practice. (Maybe a days worth most likely)

Overpriced and Rigged

This is a great game don’t get me wrong, however without extremely over priced in-store purchases you’ll get almost no where.

The latest update keeps freezing, black screening, not starting up and even crashing my whole iphone 16 within 10 seconds.

Every 2 weeks they keep reducing rewards in one way or another, the developers have become greedy….or desperate.

The ‘chance’ chests are related to the income they get not the chance percentage they claim.

Apart from the above, it’s a fun game.

Sholef Platoon Needs Improvement

The main flaw of the Sholef platoon is the lack of a medium tank which is replaced by 2 light tanks specifically the AML-90 and AMX-13, which of the AMX-13 we already have. I propose removing the AMX-13 in favour of adding the Tiran 4S with the 105mm L/7 cannon to add a unique medium tank to the platoon as the AMX-13 is in a plethora of platoons and is not needed in another platoon. The lack of a medium is also a hindrance to many players playstyle as people mostly play a flanker light tank, heavy/td and the medium tank to support the platoon after depleting all other spawns.

Very nice game

I played this game for a bout 2 years no I got up to rank 12, this game has good graphics, realistic tanks, and is the only mobile tank game I know that doesn’t use healthbars which makes it more realistic. I like it that it adds rare tanks in new seasons and my favourite season was the frozen front. My favourite platoon was the T-55A platoon. I had so much fun playing this game but here is one thing that bothers me, you guys put me into matches that I know will go very bad for me. My team would be horrible, the enemy team would be professionals and I rarely get a good match.

But I still really love this game but I quit playing this game…

Hi War Thunder mobile team! I wonder if you could add free chat?! I think it would be a cool addition to the gameplay! And with the the vehicles could you add a button to switch to a realistic view inside the cockpit/ bridge/ tank please? Would it also be possible to add an option where you can buy the premium version of a vehicle which you bought as a standard version before? Add helicopters and guided weapons

Not a bad game but could be made way better, adding helicopters, night vision, thermals on tanks, and night maps, also the rounds can be really short like 5 minutes long so by the time you got a half decent sniping spot the rounds over, also it should be made so you can choose what aircraft you want to bring into a tank battle along as in is near the same rank. But most importantly make the tiers way better like some how playing rank V I was going against V||| tanks like what is this, plz also add ground to air missiles.

I am a crazy fan of birds of steel and when gaijin released war thunder, it was the best day of my life. The game is amazing and brings so much nostalgia from birds of steel which I grew up playing I love all of the small details in the cockpit and I would like for you to add that to mobile too I would also like for you to release a campaign mode for this

Great game, the only real problem is the amount of data it needs for models, could you add a toggleable option to reduce the quality of the models? Hopefully it would reduce the amount of data being used, and shouldn’t affect gameplay too much. There’s also a bug where it tells me to update even though it’s updated, however this might just be the App Store so idk. The grind is real

I’ve been playing this game for a while. I specifically like the aviation campaign because it doesn’t need to many thing downloaded. It’s also one of the only multiplayer games that requires terrible internet, which is funny because it has amazing graphics.

I lost my account

I lost my account and had no way to get it back. I had to start all over again, while suffering through loosing a whole YEAR of progress. Other than that I LOVE this game and the new plane addition. I do think that some of the currency’s could be a bit better. I think that the newest currency for the, I think it was steep dive event, could stay as well as the tanks and planes and ships that you can buy with it. Anyway best tank game I have. LOVE IT!!

Tho i do wanna add helis in aviation tree, make it that when you reach a specific tier/level then you get acces to the helis,

Also some new planes and countrys,

Tho maybe another event after “aces high” event,

A event that focuses on Israeli tech tree.

Also name the event “Israeli god”

It might be focused on Israel’s tech tree,

I don’t know what vehicles that would be added in the event,

But it’s only an idea not a request.

Best game

When I first started this game, it was pretty hard. But I adored the graphics and the actual idea of a game like this. I am really into tanks and finding a game like this was hard on mobile. Over time, I kept on playing. Every. Single. Day. And from when I started, it has improved so much. The new aviation mode is great and the game overall is SPECTACULAR. I am currently Level 11-12. I enjoy playing this game everyday.

Event tanks you could add

In my opinion the sturmtiger is one the more balanced tank because ya it has good front amour and 380m gun but the reload is like 1 minute and it’s a tank destroyer so it has no turret so fast tank can flank it no problem and the platoon could be the tiger 2 105 and panther 2 and the2cm flakvierling auf fahrgestell panzer IV one more tank that could be in the hard chest event one is the object 279 because think about it is really good like all the other event tank in that chest and the platoon for that could the object 911B and object 715 and the the anti air could be the ZSU-23-4 shika that’s all I think should be added 😄

The new anniversary event is unplayable I keep getting killed by people using the new op event vehicles who got lucky or touch less grass than me. To open the Anniversary crates you need a new currency that you can only get by completing quests but these quests are too hard if you want to get the new op platoon you either have to get lucky or grind 24/7. They should add easier quests such as removing the first strike and Final blow quests because for those you either have to be the first to get a kill or kill the last player. And you have to do it multiple times which is harder than it sounds. Do not Download and get addicted unless you want to get the Promo vehicles that you can use on other platforms or to save your login streak.

Really good although

First things first you have to start with three choices of tanks instead of heaps of choices and you don’t get planes ✈️ in the game and that is a bit annoying although you do get planes in tank battles so it is pretty good it looks like real war thunder and it is realistic to so I pretty much play this game every day for 5 hours and I am on level 17 and have three premium tanks so thankyou very much for this wonderful game

Add larger maps

Having larger maps at mid and high tier can mean getting a nuke (if is one on the mobile version) and with the platoon maybe make it so that you can choose your own like in the computer version so instead of three maybe four or five six is pushing also enjoying sniping across the map with the calliope. Also add the Stuka sound effect I put on air breaks and flaps

I really like war thunder mobile because it’s pretty close to the real game, I think decals should be in the game because, well, I just want to put eyes on my Chinese ztz96 tank. I have just recently brought the is 2 revenge and it is a great tank by why am i versing t10, t54, leopards and other vehicles on the lines of those. So please do work the game to where i can play at a rank and not get put up to an unreasonable rank. perfect tank game, if only I could run it

I have all settings on the lowest option, (only like 4 options) can run “fine” (playable) some times, but will almost certainly crash and lag (frame sticking because of too much input) if there would be more options to limit the “mayhem” that can occur, in game, to guarantee it won’t crash (input limited to the device capability’s) instead of always offering “too much”, as it’s pretty unplayable if the closer u get to the conflict the more likely it will crash.

Becoming PTW

First 4 or 5 seasons were fun. BUT with the introduction of more and more rare platoons and catch up “trophy case” loot boxes with a much higher chance of giving you an XP multiplier, title or avatar rather than a platoon unless you dump $70-$140 into micro transactions for a *SLIGHTLY* better chance at a rare platoon, it seems like this game is going in the direction of PTW.

Such a shame for a game that was an extremely fun free game.

I thought the greed of the snail was just a meme but it’s proving to be true even with a mobile game.

Please remove the submarines

Loved the warships. Were awesome to play and then you added the submarine and battleships are all but unplayable now as you just get swapped by submarines and depth charges are useless because you can only use them

At full speed and you can’t do that most of the time because you have taken a torpedo to your engine room or prop. Subs should suffer over pressure or add hedgehog anti sub mortars

Improvements you could add

Add more interesting vehicles larger maps maybe add thermals and NV and night maps also add the feature to stop yourself from getting into certain maps i have played mobile for a long time and would like more interesting aspects to games like this so it’d be nice if you tried to add some stuff id love to maybe one day see helicopters in the game, April fools events could be a great yearly addition and opportunity for you guys to test new ideas, i am pretty certain a-lot of people want to be able to check there armour in the menu that way they can figure out weak points on there and enemies vehicles, i understand you guys are doing your own little thing but it would be nice if we could have some things that the main game has and I also understand there are certain things you wont be able to do so all i ask is that you try listen to the community

As a console war thunder player with a lot of experience with this game, I find a few things a bit annoying but can bear it for,

1. I personally never really liked the aiming system for console as I still haven’t found out how to change my tanks gunner sights, but for mobile it is perfect as it’s less work but a bit finicky to use especially with auto zoom off but that’s skill as well.

2. The platinum spending: I understand it’s a new game in the App Store but the prices are a bit much and unlike console you need platinum instead of just golden eagles which is good but in some respect as you get the 10 a day of GE which is really good because you can save up to buy what you want. Bit to get certain things you need platinum and I honestly don’t get the difference between them both.

3. Tank driving. Tho really fun it’s a bit too touchy, but then still could be just skill issues.

4. Can’t wait for the New generation of tanks and armour.

5. Maybe in the next few updates bring in helicopter’s maybe. That would beat world of T for sure

Great game and all but..

Great game! Fun to play when bored (depends of your good or not). Most things are good like graphics but some things are a little difficult!

1. Judging the distance when trying to shoot somebody. Feels a bit hard and janky to find the distance

2. No air battles! I understand air battles would be a pain to play on mobile but still it would be fun if you implemented it. (Not talking about ground air battles and naval air battles)

3. The zooming in can get super weird and annoying. In the game there is auto zoom which when in gunner view and you aim at someone your camera automatically zooms in and if your opponent moves around it goes in and out in and out.

Just some annoying things (more of a skill issue for me)

I recently downloaded this game, and I have to say it feels really close to the normal war thunder, on high graphics. It looks really nice and on low graphics. It doesn’t look bad at all.

I’ve heard rumors about a separate plane mode coming this year, but I don’t know if it’s true I really hope so since a planes only mode would be wonderful.

Very annoyed

Opened up game this morning only to find my account has gone! It’s now asking me to set up as if I’m starting game for the first time….lost all my hard work. Now before the devs start saying to reload the game….done it….nothing. If I have to start over again…forget it. There have been a ton of updates but I can understand to improve we must do that but the most reason I see for updates is fixing bugs!!….think the bugs have finally caught up with the game and exploded it. I’m trying 1 more time to reload, if it doesn’t work….im gone.

Top of mobile games

One of the best currently on mobile in my opinion. Drawing from years of experience from desktop, this is simply getting better with each update.

It demands a bit of juice to run but that’s understandable.

One thing to consider would be to better communicate armour plating and ammo options for each tank before a purchase is made. They have gone with the simpler UX option but as you get further up the tech tree it would be really helpful to know what is at your disposal, rather than having to do it by trial and error when firing off rounds at opponents.

War thunder overall

Overall, Wunder is a good game. I personally play on a console accumulating over 4000 hours and I say playing war thunder on a go on my phone it’s probably one of the best things at this game has developed for different users. But I would say it would be good if they would have a tech tree like the one on PC and console rather than getting a vehicle rank to unlock more vehicles. Implement research points.

Amazing Game! Few things to add.

War Thunder Mobile is an Amazing Strategic game! It has lots of Things to earn/Destroy! I would recommend this game to anyone I know. One thing to be added is a Way to start off with Sky combat. I might be the only one hav8ng this issue. But it only comes up with water/land battle! I would love to see a sky battle Campaign!

Near complete rubbish

War Thunder is great but this is a mobile game so of course it has problems, bad problems.

1. Pay to winners, you will see these guys constantly after you reach past level 12 on your platoon and it is a nightmare to even deal with these guys because a box tank can be invincible even if you have armour piecing shells and to add on you can’t expect to take one pay to winner down.

2. Features, because it is optimised for mobile it is incredibly hard to see the war thunder you are normally advertised and any plane battles you will get here are quick 2 minute fights in the middle of nowhere in any match and are hard to be useful due to planes being able to do nothing regularly and get beamed down by a anti aircraft tank or enemy plane.

3. Bad penetration, some very low armour or box tanks get so laggy or glitched out even a amour piercing shells do nothing.

4. Weird hit boxes, after your shoot your enemy your shell can hit the enemy and you can see it hit but literally nothing happens to the enemy tank, not only that I have encountered multiple times where shells just phase through buildings or rumble and no scope my tracks or turret immediately immobilising me or making me a sitting duck.

5. Match balancing, even if you don’t encounter a pay to winner on your team or the enemies team you might just encounter your average try hard grinding to level 100 in a week that destroyed every tank in plain sight making it impossible to play unless you’re super competitive or the enemy isn’t try harding.

6. Controls, because you might be mobile you literally get a joy stick for tanks, a weird scroll mechanism for planes and some arrows to press for ships and the amount of times when my finger drags off screen by this and just sends me flying off my path is absolutely annoying.

Conclusion: you have to have a lot of patience, skill and be calm to play this game at a minimum and even if you don’t agree with this review the game is still very hard to play in my opinion.

I had higher expectations

This game was fun, but it gets ruined by the horrible controls that make you turn when you want to go straight backwards and go straight forwards when you want to turn. Then there are the all the players who just constantly spawn camp and ruin it for everyone, the premium is too easy to access so everyone can get it instead of it being something harder and. That not everyone can have so easily. It was ruined compared to the PC version do not get, it’s a waste of time

I haven’t seen a worse quality of players and community ever

It was an okay experience

Honestly, the game is okay. Needs a lot of improvement, however. First off the gameplay is a bit different to WT then what it is to WT:M, and there’s a lot that’s been carried down. Major issues i see with this is the personal damage I’ve taken seems to be more impactful than what I’d expect as (I know it’s purely arcade) I’ve really struggled to manage a game without being destroyed by an enemy in one shot. It’s rather frustrating to play in this hellish game mode to be honest. Another thing that needs to happen is the personal damage indicator as I barely even know what’s wrong with the tank throughout games until I see the small indicators on the bottom of the screen. May be a skill issue, however isn’t the point when playing WT, but the reticle as well indicates I can penetrate armor and when I fire the round the game renders it as a non-penetrating shot. Another thing to take note of is the aircraft in the tank battles. I really need to know if i’m hitting the enemy planes or not and the small reticle isn’t something I want to play close attention to. Also, a big fan of bluewater battles, however the game managed to make it seem more enjoyable. Finally, I want to acknowledge the skill based match making. I know that this issue may be a problem for me, however I only play ysimbg touchscreen and I’m not sure but I feel like I’m not meeting the same skill as the enemy or even my team. I felt like the game was a breeze however, once I made it to around rank II - III, the game changed completely based on skill. Otherwise, the game seems to be handled by my phone performance wise and gave me a better experience with warship battles.

Very good mobile game but one improvement

The game is wonderful and definitely exceeded my expectations for a mobile game. The ships and tanks are very well made but I would love to see one thing, a plane gamemode designed just for planes, maybe even add the same skill tree. Possibly even add support for controllers so I can bring a controller with me and basicly play war thunder on the go. Great game overall tho.

It needs some work in places

It uses the same killcam and damage mechanic as normal war thunder, which is nice because I pictured war thunder mobile to be completely different, and I’m pretty sure you can only play arcade as of now, and there is only like 10 maps the biggest problem I have with it is that it doesn’t have air battles! Like what the hell? I do enjoy how the game feels similar to real war thunder because of the actual gameplay. The graphics are definitely not the same, but yet again, it is on mobile.

Good groundwork, needs a lot of improvement

All round, its a pretty decent mobile version of the original. The core gameplay is there and enjoyable, driving around cute simplified versions of the original game. Even the micro transactions aren’t as in your face as id thought it would be. However there are a few teething issues that Ive noticed while playing, alot are completely game breaking and very noticeable. - No real feedback when getting damaged, you just get a small icon in the corner telling you whats wrong. - That stupid little cross is completely false making hitting and damaging enemies is near impossible . A lot of shots have landed far from what the redical says or have done zero damage despite being green. - Lastly, the driving controls feel very clunky. Turning slightly after driving for a while will make the while vehicle spin out like a roadster car. Apart from those personal issues, its a decent game to play when you’re bored.

Gimmie my planes dammit!

So, upon starting up WT:M for the first time, it updates the game as it should, and has a couple other loading screens to follow. You are given the option of tanks or ships (sadly no planes) to which I’ve chosen tanks. Not a fan of either, but I hoped playing tanks would eventually lead to the ability to use planes. Am yet to confirm suspicion. Anyway, thrown into a tutorial instantly, followed by the inability to do anything of your own choice till after a practice match. Does not matter if you win or lose, however do try to sit back and snipe, your tank is garbage anyway, but land your shots properly, and you’ll have no issues.

The hit detection is a bit funky, however that could have just been due to my lack of frames on this here iPhone X, but otherwise, not bad if you like your ships and tanks. If not, hopefully we’ll see the introduction of planes soon enough.

Honestly, this review is probably a little more biased than most, given that I just wanna play my planes, but for what it is, and what we’ve been waiting for, it’s not a bad start. I just hope it gets regular updates, and of course, PLANES !!
