The app used to be perfect,
However after the update, app most of the time you have to login again, asks for your email or password, for the code. Once you put in the code, you have to do it another 2 more times with separate codes. If nothing broken, don’t touch. Go back to the old way, this way clearly stuiped.

The whole ordeal with the cards is super flawed.
We got the app, signed up and couldn’t use the $10 gift straight away because it had to come through within 24 hours. Mine showed up but my partners never arrived.
Also why can you not just implement the Timezone card to use the NFC chip in the phone, so I don’t need a physical card and so I don’t have to get new cards all the time when I arrive.
Allowing me to track balance of cards is cool, but I still have to have a physical card.
The readers already activate my NFC chip on my phone, why not use that.
Consider it a feature request please.

This is a very big scam app beware.
I have over $600 in credit in this app and it crashed and disconnected my Gold Card from my account, and now they cannot refund me, They cannot reconnect my card, They cannot do anything because they are a scam company.
If I speak to the people at the timezone they can’t do anything and tell me to call up the number in the app and when I call up they tell me they can’t do anything because they haven’t got any managers there.
It’s a complete scam.
Plus a majority the time do you tap your card which is connected to this app it never works.
You should save your money like I should have done and simply invested in upgrading my VR.
Timezone app should be re-labelled as ScamCentral.

This was a good app up until a month or so ago. Not sure if the reload via the app is working now or if the issues other users report are still there as I haven’t used it recently.
The transactions page no longer shows individual transactions from each game. It now only shows one transaction for each visit rather than one for each game played. It also doesn’t show the correct total spent for the day or the tickets won.
This function was working fine a month ago. Not sure why the app development is going backwards when it was working fine/better previously. I hope it the app is fixed as it was quite a good app.

Everytime I manage to sign in, the next time it logs you out, then won’t let you log back in saying “we can’t find your account”.
Tried signing in with phone number instead and it said “bad phone reputation, blocking”. When it’s a private mobile number I don’t have any “reputation” so not sure what it’s talking about.
I’ve managed to get this app working twice in 2 years.

Only use this app if you really have to, the app works…? but little things like needing to restart the app to see my cards balance or the fact the mobile number prompt for your account is broken, and after slamming your finger forty eight times on the box it just decides to work? little things like that leave a slightly bitter aftertaste. Please get whoever worked on the website to fix the app and give them a little pay rise for their troubles.

To be fair, the app has a visually appealing design and has useful features like deals and vouchers.
My problem with the app is how it keeps track of your tickets and credit on your game card(s). I visited TimeZone today, played some games and decided to save up my tickets. On my way out I checked my card balance, it said I had around 1800 tickets.
When I got home, I checked my TimeZone app and it said I only had 700 tickets. Weirdly it also said I had $76 on my card (I don’t remember how much was on my card but it was definitely less than $76)
I checked the online TimeZone portal and all my tickets were there. (I’m not 100% certain about the money it showed being accurate because I’m not sure what is was before).
Either way, this app shows inaccurate ticket and balance amounts. Considering this app is supposed to help customers keep track of their spending, this fault is quite frustrating and definitely not ideal.
I understand it’s probably just a simple glitch but customers shouldn’t have to worry about losing their credit or tickets.

I have had multiple cards usually add them to the app to keep track of how much credit and points they kids have. I decided instead of waiting in line whilst at a timezone centre, I would skip the cue and reload the card via the app but in doing so it reloaded an old card I no longer have. I immediately immediately called the online contact number and spoke with someone from timezone via the contact number and they advised they would send through the request but couldn’t give me a rough estimate on when it would be processed and that someone would give me a call back once the amount had been transferred. The person I spoke with seemed unsure so I decided to also email timezone and have been emailing back and forth with different people for roughly 3 weeks now to try and have the credit transferred to the intended powercard. They have been great at replying but as soon as the required screenshots of transactions had been sent through, they’ve slowed/stopped with the prompt replies. Very frustrating that it is taking this long to resolve this matter.

Before getting the app me and this girl who worked at Timezone were having a chat. She said that once I get the app then I can throw away the card. The only reason I installed this app is so I could get the $10 sign up credit that was advertised in store and then I was informed that it would take 24 hours to be available. That was fine. I figured we could use it next time when we go for my daughter’s birthday. Well it’s been over a month and I still don’t have the credit. I called and the person on the phone barely spoke English and said he didn’t really know enough to help me. I asked to speak to someone else and all he could do was take my name and number and said they’d call within 2 days but they never did. Just had to call a second time and I was told I just have to wait for them to fix it. I don’t have a lot of hope it will be done before her birthday. I definitely won’t be using the app to add credit after reading the other reviews. I will be deleting it after we get the credit.

This app needs work ASAP. why release the app when it isn't connected to Timezone in store systems? First of all, you can't take advantage of in app promos as it won't let you recharge ever. Just a blank white screen (yes I've logged out, tried reinstalling etc). Secondly, when u upgrade your card, the old card stays on the app in ur account so it totally messes everything up. I had to get management in timezone to refund and fix it back to my actual card. What a mess around. This app has too many issues. Please fix ASAP.

Biggest issue… Can’t remove old cards then when up loading credit defaults to oldest card!!!! Multiple people have mentioned this in their reviews also!!!!!!
Have spent the last month ringing, doing online enquires, and back and forth emails to try and get the money transferred to the card and THE OLD CARD DELETED from the app as they took that away from me when going up a tier.
4 weeks on my new card has had the equivalent credit added but the old card still remains.
So if you are after a smooth transaction and confidence in being able to use your credit that day stand in the line in store.

The same review as another person. When reloading it takes a while to get in to the card. The app doesn’t have the option to remove old cards after i upgraded. Which then leads to an issue where whenever I press reload on the card that i want to reload. It still goes on another page where it defaults the reload to the oldest card which I don’t have. I emailed customer service and it took a month to get the old cards removed and I’m still waiting for my funds to be transferred to the active card. It’s taking forever. Terrible system and service.

Don’t get me wrong, I love Timezone and it’s app! It’s just that when I was installing this app on the App Store there were photos of the middle button being the ‘Play’ button. Unfortunately, I didn’t get that! Instead, I got the ‘Reload’ button. I thought I could play games. Overall, I absolutely love Timezone, but I’m just not sure why that with the Timezone Fun App it gave me something different than what it was meant to give me. That’s why I gave it a 4/5.

Loaded $250 to card via app, can see the deduction from credit card via online banking, but the money isn’t showing up on Timezone card. Spoke to both front desk and customer care line and both said it can take a couple hours to go through and to just wait and check later. So am I supposed to just walk around with my kids for a couple of hours watching strangers play until my money loads ?!?! Useless app and ruined our trip to Timezone.

Planned out to go to Timezone in the evening so thought it’d be a good idea to use the app to reload half-an-hour beforehand, really easy to use by the way. Turned out when we got there my money didn’t apply to my card yet even though it showed on the app. Walked around the arcade for another 30 minutes and still couldn’t play anything even though the app still said I had money on it. Decided to give up and go home.
Great app to track progress of your card, nice overall UI, but what they advertised as convenient is worse than waiting in line for a couple minutes to reload 😬

It’s very easy (the app defaults to oldest card) accidentally add funds to the wrong card. There is no way to remove, manage existing cards or set default card.
When tapping on “recharge” it picks the oldest card instead of the current one selected. If the wrong card is charged there is no phone support to sort it out nor anyway to transfer funds between cards.

There is only one bug that I have found that needs to be fixed and iv spoken to staff members about this and they have this happen to themselves, it’s to do with the “SET YOUR FAVOURITE STORE” every time I set it to the selected store and save my changers and back out it resets to a different store in a different state as well
