Works as advertised but UX could be simpler
Supporting Apple ID and/or Apple Pay would be a great improvement.
When you’re in Grafton, with dodgy internet access, the last thing you want to do is muck around with emails and passwords.
Guest charging with Apple Pay would be excellent. Failing that, Apple ID would also help.

Constant spam notifications
Constantly gives spam and promo notifications even with promo setting turned off

Very bad
Extremely difficult to use and navigate. Once you have found your charging station from a very clustered map UI, the charging station stats are not fed through in real time. All the chargers are unresponsive. The worst charging app on the market.

Beware if using this on flat rate!
Unfortunately the experience has been dismal, it disconnected after only 8kwh and I could not continue, even though it was advertised as $20 flat rate per charging session.
Requested refund through Help, was not helpful at all and tried to pass it on to the building manager.
You'd be better off to go to Tesla Supercharger nearby in Albury.

Terrible charging option
Man! This is the worst way to charge a car if you are traveling
Three times we wasted about an hour just to get about 2% -3% charge Don’t waste your charge driving to find a charger. It costs more energy than you gain in an hour

Best support line!
I went to charge my EV for the first time and wasn’t too sure what to do, so i called the number on the side of the charger and they walked me through everything step-by-step. They were so easy to understand and made the charging process simple and enjoyable.

Super easy to use, fast sign up process
Went to use a charger on the Exploren network and the sign up process was the best out of all the charging networks i’ve experienced. Super quick, no glitching like other apps.

Useless charging network
Easily worst charging network in Australia, pre charges $10 forcing you to stay connected on a slow charger, compared to NRMA pre charging $15 but your car will be charged in 1 hour, and that even if the charger connects. I spent 30 minutes trying to connect my Tesla with the charger station saying every time I did not connect fast enough, even though it didn’t connect to my car it was happy to pre charge me the $10 instantly every time I tried to connect. I’ve lost $10 to this company adding it to my account DO NOT USE. At least until they decide to make a decent working charger network.

New app ‘improvements’ suck
The old app, pre 2.141, I could plug in on arrival at home and set the charger to work when the car started charging on its schedule. Tonight on 2.141.0 I find that I need to unplug and plug back in again because the app thinks it has started and stopped and probably charged the minimum connection fee. Very annoying change of behaviour but a good way to earn extra dollars for Exploren in the short term.

It would be nice if it all would show the car’s battery percentage.

Bad surprise
Came to PCYC in Dee Why as usual and found all 3 EO chargers to have been replaced with these Exploren chargers. One car was charging, but I couldn’t figure out how. Neither of the 3 stations were recognised by the app and none of them are shown on the map.

Worst service in AU
Charged my car at station 1305. Charged 2 hours (11kwh energy). Invoice me $43? It’s apartment building slow charge and you want $40 parking fee? Called customer service and the guys ask “why you not check the price before charging”. Rubbish service.

This app like all these stupid charging apps is horrible. Why should I need to sign up to charge. Can’t I just tap my card and pay like I’m buying petrol. You are making the charging experience painful!
